Location was great, staff were friendly. Most of hotel was kept clean and fresh. Food choices at breakfast were good. Price was good.

Some sockets in our room didn't work properly (not good as a tourist relying on their phone when it's not charged) Breakfast time was very busy and staff couldn't keep on top of clearing tables, lots of visitors looking around for a table to sit at and they all had dirty pots on. The bathroom in the hotel room had a sliding door that doubled as the wardrobe door. When closed across the bathroom it had a big gap around it, so you can basically hear everything going on in the bathroom when trying to relax in the bedroom. My husband and I have been together a long time but a bit of privacy is still nice! I imagine this would be quite uncomfortable for anyone not in a couple, sharing this room.

We came to Liverpool for 2 nights. Arrived 2 hours early and we still managed to be able to check in and go to our room. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was good. It was nice and quiet when going to sleep even though the hotel is on a busy road. Albert dock 5 min walk.

Had breakfast both mornings, arrived just after 7 so should have been fresh. Unfortunately the “hot” food was barely warm despite being one of the 1st customers of the day. Fresh orange was so watered down you could hardly taste anything. On the plus side fresh fruit was nice and it has a fresh waffle maker.

I was happy that plant-based milk, toast, vegan spread, and a choice of jams were available at breakfast. The staff I spoke to were all very helpful. My room was comfortable and I was happy with the toiletries provided because they smelled great.

There weren’t any vegan sausages available at breakfast when I stayed. I would have felt more comfortable if more allergen/dietary information had been displayed at breakfast. The plant-based milk was in a fridge but I wasn’t sure if it was okay for customers to help themselves until I asked, so more signage would be great. The window in my room was a bit draughty.

I booked this hotel because of the underground parking, at a reduced rate ( payment machine in reception, £20 for 24 hours, where the friendly staff will give you a code). We were on the 6th floor with a lovely view across the Mersey. The hotel is in a fantastic location , the Royal Albert Dock and the town centre within easy walking distance. It is a short walk to Liverpool One Bus depot where we caught a special events bus to Anfield for the Bruce Springstein concert (£2 per person), a service we would recommend (dropped off at the same place following the event, be prepared for the queue , but plenty of buses). The staff were very efficient and friendly in the busy breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again.

One lift was not in use at the time of our stay, so we did wait a while to get down to the basement car park when we left. It was not a huge choice at breakfast, but choices were delicious(the hot selection was hot! Not the case in some hotels). The hotel was full, and we were warned that the breakfast room would be busy, so we went early. Was really busy by the time we left, so early is probably best. All in all, it's a very nice place to stay.

The location is great if you're going to the arena and exhibition centre or other places on the waterfront but also pretty good in general for a normal touristy stay in Liverpool. The staff on the front desk seemed friendly and efficient at their jobs and the lady in the breakfast room was keeping on top of ensuring the area was clean and well stocked. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything I needed. It was also cleaned to a good standard.

I don't have any major complaints, if I have to pick something I would say the coffee from the machines in the breakfast room didn't taste all that great and the choice of cereal was a bit lacking but neither would prevent me from coming back.

When we tried to check n all of the systems had gone down globally. This meant we couldn’t freshen up in our room, unpack out stuff etc. when we returned at 6pm, we could get into our room prior to going out again for the evening. These things happen, however if we had stayed in our room for an extra two or three hours the following day we would have been charged for a Kate check out. A voucher towards another visit, a drink in the bar or a little treat in the room would have been much appreciated for our inconvenience, however nothing was offered.

The Staff were friendly & accomodating, the room had everything we needed Tea/Coffee/Kettle/Iron/Ironing Board/TV also plenty of electrical sockets located conveniently around the room with a good sized dressing table & mirror and a full length mirror, which pleased the wife as we was attending our son's wedding. The Bathroom was lovely and clean as was the room itself. We had a good nights sleep. Plenty of Variety for Breakfast & Parking Available. We have stayed here previously and would stay again. Thank you for another comfortable stay.

I think the parking facilities would benefit from electric charging points.

I can’t praise the staff enough from check in to checking out, all the staff were polite, friendly. Professional & helpful. A special mention for Daniel, Cassie, Olivia & Kort whom we dealt with personally throughout our stay and they were very obliging and courteous and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was stress free & comfortable. The hotel was clean & tidy in all areas. Our room was a good size with double bed and bed settee and lovely and warm, the bed was clean and so comfy. The en-suite was very bright & modern. The location was perfect for the M&S arena which was just opposite across the road and it was only a short 10 min walk to the town centre and Matthew Street. The parking was ideal in the basement of the hotel at a reasonable discounted price £20 for 24hrs. All rooms were accessible from the basement parking via the lift direct to your allocated room. A free breakfast & WiFi was also included in with the price. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice both hot & cold. The staff were very organised in the restaurant and everything ran smoothly. All in all it was good value for money. This is the first time I have stopped at this hotel and it won’t be the last. I will definitely be staying again and will recommend this hotel to family & friends.

Nothing we liked everything about the property

Good location, very clean, comfy bed and pillows, rooms have shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The body lotion smelt lovely, hairdryer in room and tv fully working. Only little issue was the parking getting through the small doors you have to ring the reception button to open the gates and is very tight getting through. We paid £40 for 24 hours, If you go to reception and clock in you vehicle they give you 50% discount so without the discount it was very expensive as was the 1 night double room we booked hence was grand national weekend. Breakfast was satisfactory, would have been nice if they could offer fried or poached eggs and tomatoes as they only had scrambled eggs and beans, but was an all you could eat buffet breakfast.

We had a great night in your hotel but we do a few problems along the way Cat park system was down and was told to wait until later then told I mite get a fine by they cancel it etc was all a bit hectic My mum was also saying and her room the shower was broken and actually fell off the wall … they. Iced her room al good …. Next room sofa bed didn’t work and she had the grandkids staying with her … 3rd room was fine but as you can imagine was quite a struggle with 2 kids but they manager (can’t remember her name) was lovely and really helpful and even offered a free meal and drinks to my mum and children
