Ibis should really consider adding the word"ergonomics" to their corporate name because they are masters in design and comfort at the most reasonable prices. Their Liverpool hotel at the Albert Docks is may be the best designed hotel room l've stayed in on my 4-month backpacking adventure. I had to just sit and marvel at it for the first few minutes. As a budget traveler there is no better feeling than being understood in the way that Ibis understands us. I want a reasonable price. I want a great location in the heart of everything. I want places to organize my things. They're amazing at this. I want easy access to good food that is affordable and also a nearby grocery store. I want to know that the hotel is doing all they can to keep me safe. Hot shower in a large enough space to move around and enter and exit with dignity. Wifi that is reliable. A friendly and attentive staff. A place outside to smoke because, yes, some adults do smoke. Places to just sit and read or hang out to chat. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. All of this plus a billiards table awaits you at Albert Docks. They've made it so that the budget traveler doesn't have to feel like they have to make huge compromises to travel to large cities. But the thought that they put into the room design - ergonomically speaking - is so appreciated.

Could have done with a hand size towel. When I asked at reception, they told me they didn't have them. Would take my own if I stay here again. Not enough hooks in bathroom. Simple things, but would make a difference

Great hotel with a good value price. more expensive on Saturdays or when events are on nearby. Good staff. lovely rooms,clean comfortable, good bathroom. enjoyed buffet breakfast. Great location. would recommend

The location was fabulous, a stone's throw from Albert Dock and all other amenities just a short 10 minute walk away. The room was very clean and beds made/towels changed every day

The room was clean but lacked cosiness, mainly due to the laminated floor. It felt like a room in a warehouse. There were no pictures on the walls, which didn't really matter, but there was so much wasted space. No hooks or shelves in the huge hallway area, and loads of room to fit in a second chair. The beds were squeezed between the only 2 bits of functional furniture. Felt there could've been much better use of the space. The shower was excellent, but water leaked out of the door all over the floor. There was no lounge in the foyer and although we didn't have breakfast, the seating area looked cramped and uninviting. Next time I will pay attention to the word budget and maybe upgrade to the better standard Ibis hotels that have always been very comfortable.

The hotel was a really short walk from the coach station and another really short walk to Liverpool exhibition centre, which was perfect. All of the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The food was lovely. The room, although on a main road, was very nice and quiet with what must be tripple glazed windows. We could barely hear the cars. There's also a Tesco express a 2 min walk on the same stretch of pavement. Me and my daughter were very happy to stay here.

The only thing I'd have to say wasn't great was the choice of Gluten-free options. There were two currys to choose from for dinner, and that it's, which is a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise the food we did have was lovely. I'd like to see a GF pizza, chips, and a burger at least, for a bit of choice.

Room, as requested overlooking the Albert Dock. Only noise was from passing traffic, not other residents. Closing the window eliminated almost all of the traffic noise. Comfortable bed and basic room but all that was needed for a brief stopover. Lovely, large shower. Very close to central Liverpool, walking distance from Hop on, hop off bus, Pier Head, restaurants, shops etc. Arrived by car and left it in the secure car park for the duration of our stay. very reasonable car parking fee. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice, freshly cooked. Wonderful croissants and coffee. Fast WiFi. Excellent communication with courteous and helpful staff.

Slight drain smell when we first arrived which soon dissipated after using the shower. Not many TV channels available.

We were allocated a room with good facilities apart rom the fact that the electric heater over the door was not operating efficiently and the room was chilly. However, the staff in reception moved quickly to supply us with a portable electric fire which resolved the matter. All other facilities in the room were excellent. The beds were comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. There was a good choice of food both hot and cold at breakfast. The dinner menu was not well advertised but the quality of the food and the service was good. The staff were all very friendly and ready to assist with any queries.

Access to the hotel was made rather difficult by roadworks but this was not anything the hotel management could influence. Apart for the inefficient room heater there was nothing to criticize.

The hotel is situated exactly in front of the of the main attractions from Liverpool. So easy to get around . Bed was very comfortable. Room temperature ideal . Clean bed sheets . I loved the humor of the shower gel and shampoo . I will leave a pic with it. Good value for the money

I enjoyed The whole time I stayed with you and so did my little dog Tinker bell sadly on The on Sunday I talk very ill and I was taken to the Royal Hospital Liverpool days. I am still in hospital waiting for an operation., your staff on coming to my room where excellent and very helpful give him a big thank you from me and I’m hoping to go well soon so thank you All of you and management but a lovely stay just sad and ended the way it did. Everyone at the hotel was excellent with me so God bless you and keep up the excellent work as Service you provide for your customers.. The hotel location is brilliant and to say that there was a busy main road we barely heard the traffic in our room, the breakfast was a buffet style affair and there was a good variety of hot and cold food on offer, they had two machines dispensing a variety of coffee and hot water, they offered milk and dairy free options, decaff coffees as well as tea, also herbal teas

The en-suit set up is a bit strange, we had an issue with the door being difficult to close and the position of the door made it so when the light was switched on it disturbed the person in bed asleep and had a bit of a step up into the room, also the payment for food and drink was card only and we like to have cash when we are away.
