The room we booked(cape town) really had the wow factor. Spotlessly clean and the staff really couldn’t do enough to help. And amazingly they have a loyalty system so that on your 8th stay…it’s free. The spa bath was amazing and the facilities are top notch. Free parking. And complimentary continental breakfast. We will 100% be returning. Can’t wait to go back. One of our friends have booked already after seeing our pics and hearing of our experience.

It’s perfect

Amazing room, great decor, huge bathroom. Everything was absolutely spotless in both the room and the bathroom. Lovely and quiet, I slept like a log in the big comfy bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful suggesting walks into Staithes and places to eat and drink there as well as other places of interest. We would definitely stay here again we had a wonderful time!

Everything was perfect

Beautiful break away for my partner’s Birthday . 2nd visit this year and planning on returning in July. The room we stayed in was the Venice suite and the bed was shaped like a boat. The bath spa was relaxing and the room was very clean. Debbie is very friendly and helpful. Thanks Debbie for being so kind and we will be back in July :-)

The different rooms and relaxed atmosphere

This self catering cottage was larger than expected and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was particularly well equipped and the Welcome Pack of local produce was a lovely touch. Staff were always on hand and were really friendly and helpful; it felt like nothing was too much trouble. The shared courtyard area was immaculately maintained, leading to ample parking and another large grassed area which was great for dog walking. The hot tub was a real treat!

The opportunity to purchase breakfast on site would have been welcome although there is a lovely tea room close by.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor in our Cape Town themed room was exceptional with an eye for fine detail. It felt luxurious and then to add to the luxury there was a 2 person spa bath. Absolutely an amazing place to stay. We will definitely be going back to try one of the other themed rooms.

The room we stayed in was lovely. It was very cozy, decorated like a little cabin, and had an amazingly large jacuzzi tub! It was very quiet and really nice to have a private outdoor terrace area. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. A continental breakfast was included, which wasn't advertised on booking.com when we booked, so great little extra. Would very much recommend.

Stayed in Cape town and the room was far better then expected The photos don't do it justice to how good they're in person. All the staff are lovely and do anything to make the stay better for you. Customer service was just exceptional I highly recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be returning 😀

An lovely trip which lived up to its name, the retreat. The staff couldn't be friendlier, were helpful and the place we stayed was well equipped, had great facilities and was immaculate. The hot tub was hot, powerful and really clean.

We only stayed one night and wish it had been longer.

Beautiful place. Really worth value for money. Debbie was so welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of information for the upcoming amendments to the hotel and we will definitely be returning. Breakfast was included which I didn’t realise so was over the moon with that. Loved it. Thank you x
