Fantastic little break,that good im coming back,great location just a 2 minute drive away from the village with a great little pub(the board inn) everything you could ever need is supplied even down to a coffee machine,lots of little extra touches like the welcome basket and bits and bobs which make a big difference,alex and her partner(didnt get his name 🤦‍♂️) were great and on hand for anything you needed it was clean,comfortable and just the perfect place to get away from everything and recharge and whitby is only a 20 minute drive away which is an added bonus,cant praise this place enough 10/10

My only knock is the bed is fitted at the back of the hut and im 6ft 2 and sleep fully streched out so kept yo yoing during the night hitting my arm on 1 wall then my feet on the other but if your smaller than me are sleep like a normal person you will be fine 😂

Everything was perfect, not a single thing was left out or forgotten, Alex and family go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. From face masks to dog treats to little board games complimentary biscuits and crisps, bottle of prosecco, they even left a beautiful handmade card, balloon and a box of chocolates for my partners birthday. I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. The added bonus of the breath taking scenery around truly made this stay one that will always be hard to beat.

I hand on heart can say there is nothing I believe could have been any better.

The location was stunning. Beautiful scenery, perfect escape from city life. The hot tub was wonderful. Watching the sheep and bunny rabbits was a highlight. The kitchen and bathroom area was clean and tidy. And the main hut had everything you could want. The welcome package left by the owner was a lovely surprise with some eggs and some milk and a small bottle of wine and cider. The surrounding area was so picturesque and close to Whitby and robin hoods bay for a walk around the quirky shops and amazing fish and chips.

The only negative for my stay was the weather. But the rain beating off the hut just added to the cozyness of the hut. So the negative was a positive.

Loved the attention to detail and how much effort has been put in to make your stay pleasant. The host went to a lot of trouble to make sure we had everything we needed... even an excellent bottle of fizz! The log burner in the hut was fabulous we were well stocked with logs and firelighters, this is unusual as other places tend to leave you just a few, and it was really appreciated. The hot tub was fantastic, we lived all the gentle lighting and the views and tranquility was perfect. We felt we were the only people in the world! We really can't praise the hosts enough for the effort they went to. They were so kind and attentive. Best place I've stayed at by a royal mile.

The facilities were fantastic and a perfect balance between useful and aesthetic - without creating unnecessary clutter. The location was also very charming which was complimented by the comfort and look of the hut. Alex was also incredibly accommodating and amazing with her replies and hospitality. I couldn’t recommend it more.

I only wish I could have stayed longer!

The location was beautiful with a view to die for. The hut was warm and comfortable and there was plenty of help on hand getting the hot tub set up each day.

Nothing. Everything was really good - great set of instructions provided and a really nice hot shower.

We had the most amazing Christmas and stay at Oakley view shepherds hut. The host Alex was lovely and made sure there is everything you need and more! The added touches were really thoughtful. The views are amazing, especially from the hot tub! Me, my partner and our dog definitely want to return!

Everything was great!

It was the most gorgeous weekend!! The views were unbelievable and the lady who owns them went above and beyond for my partners birthday. They were absolutely beautiful huts and everything we needed. Would 100% recommend!

The hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The hut had everything we could have needed, the kitchen was fully equipped including an air fryer, toaster, microwave. The location was unbelievable, looking out over open fields, the only sounds being the local sheep and wildlife.

Communication with owner was brilliant. Peaceful with a lovely view. Loved the little extras that were placed in the hut for us to find on arrival. Really made us feel more relaxed and welcome
