Ideally located for where we wanted to go

Basic accommodation that served its purpose and was adequate given the price of the room. Room was clean with basic furniture - carpet was new as were beds. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Sink and shower fittings were loose but did function perfectly. There was always plenty of hot water. Bathroom is in need of redecoration.

Everything, staff, so kind and ready for any question Parking was the most important, free, and the car was safe The location was 10 min on the bus or car to Whitby, but we could visit another place. Also, the view was amazing!! They left tea and coffee, so much appreciated Pub downstairs 😋

Weak WiFi network and inside the room that we stayed in number 2, there is no signal inside

Only downfall no breakfast, but the staff were fab and friendly, customers coming in were very friendly, meal was good, Euros on so we watched englands first match. under new management and we go to there other pub when we’re in saltburn, very relaxing and am sure as they start to get everything in order to what they want it’ll be even better, it’s a lovely village.

We love it there so no issues for us..

Staff friendly, comfy bed, clean room, good choice of drinks, reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Stayed here last minute on a Sunday so didn’t realise food was only served 12-4, wasn’t a big issue though.

The room was spacious with adequate facilities for hot drinks and also good powerful shower. Bike storage was good due to the bikes being put inside the building over night. The owner and staff members were helpful and very pleasant, serving an excellent breakfast and catered for a coeliac.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and comfy bed. Nice food in the pub.

Room are a little dated (but its under new management) and for the price you pay I think it was very reasonable.

The young chap who booked us in seemed to be doing everything, reception, bar, bringing food out. He was very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for visiting Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes.

The rooms could do with some updating, but they were clean and comfortable enough.

Nice, clean little place, away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby with an absolute good value for the price.

Can't pinpoint anything, to be honest. Probably didn't stay for long enough to notice any downsides.

Staff were great nice helpful , the food was good yhe only let down was the bed very hard & flat pillows . Parking was good

Bed . Didnt need a tv in the lounge ppl like quit time tv in the bar is enough
