Lovely welcome by Lucy who puts you at ease immediately, spotless room and bathroom, both very nicely decorated, with far reaching views of the stunning local countryside. Our room was the smallest available but was absolutely fine for a short stay and had everything we needed. A 10/15 minute walk into Whitby which was fine for us but might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was delicious, good quality ingredients and served to us by Brian who also makes you feel very welcome, in the charming and calm dining room.
Nothing, I cannot think of anything we weren’t happy with. The driveway is quite small (3 cars max) but plenty of free on road parking in the vicinity.

Warm welcome on arrival to a lovely house, it was spotlessly clean throughout and our room was at the back of the property so was very quiet with countryside views. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, good quality bed linen and comfortable pillows. The bathroom was clean, modern and equipped with toiletries, which smelt really nice. There were tea /coffee facilities in the room and the best biscuits ever. Parking was available at the front of the property and it was only a fifteen minute walk into town. Breakfast was exceptional, all freshly cooked to order and nicely presented on Denby tableware. Everything was perfect and we will definitely stay here again.

Very comfy bed, very cosy, nice powerful shower,The view in ur room is facing the garden , was quiet and saw some sheep on the field :) Lucy and Brian are very nice. Very happy with the breakfast :) also the cookies in the room are tasty, made from a local bakery i think its said on guest info folder :) It's dog friendly hotel, their dog is well behave and cute :) got more picture to upload but system having trouble to upload
Maybe put a non.slip mat would be good, quite slippery in the shower. A big spider and spider web above the room door. Kettle in the room got few spot of black stain.

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful B&B. We stayed in the attic bedroom yet again, and it was still very modern and well decorated throughout. The breakfast's each day were very good, and you had plenty of choices/options. Brian & Lucy certainly go above and beyond to make your stay there very special. We will be booking again for a weekend break next year. Mark & Mandy (Morley,Leeds)
We haven't found anything negative at all whilst staying here.

Ideally located just out of the town centre. Offers a nice stroll into Whitby. The hosts were amazing and friendly. Loved the biscuits. The size of the mugs meant you could have a decent tea/coffee in the room including fresh milk. I especially liked the darker makeup remover face cloth so the white towels aren’t being used. Bathroom was big enough with a good powerful shower. Plenty of clothes hanging space. Looking forward to staying here again. View from the room is beautiful.

This property was in a brilliant location for visiting Whitby with the bonus of Free Parking . About 25 minute walk to the centre of Whitby . The hostess, Lucy, was extremely friendly and welcoming and was happy to provide as much information on places to visit as you could possibly need. The room was exceptionally clean with plenty of the usual provisions plus some delicious biscuits and large bottles of water. The cups, saucers, glasses etc were all matching and set the tone for someone who clearly cares about her customers comfort. The bed was also really comfortable too. The breakfast menu provided sufficient choices for everyone and what we had was beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.
This question is impossible to answer as the property was, basically, perfect.

We had a great weekend at this wonderful B&B. We stayed in the attic bedroom and it was so spacious and well decorated.Brian & Lucy were fantastic hosts and they really made us both feel very welcome. The breakfasts each day were very good. We will definitely be returning in the very near future and we will also be recommending this B&B to all of our family and friends. Mark & Mandy (Morley,Leeds)
This B&B certainly exceeded our expectations and neither of us could think of any improvements that could be made.

The property itself was beautiful and the room was outstanding, an absolute credit to the owners on the cleanliness. The hospitality tray was very nice not a packet or uht milk pod insight, fresh milk and the little pot of biscuits was a nice personal touch. Read the reviews before staying and they all mentioned how good breakfast was and it didn’t disappoint either, it was all cooked fresh to order with orange juice and cereals etc that were all help yourself too. If you want a little piece of real luxury then you definitely need to stay with Moor Edge.

Excellent location as we could walk into Whitby to explore. Full English breakfast was fantastic, served hot and very tasty. Everything we needed was provided for us in our room. Lovely countryside view. Exceptionally clean, a very good shower and comfortable bed. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. I would certainly book again if I was planning to stay in Whitby in the future. We only stayed one night as we had been touring Scotland but would be a great place to stay longer and explore North Yorkshire.
Nothing it was absolutely wonderful.

Room was spotless. Bed very comfy. Fantastic views over surrounding countryside. Lucy and Brian were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Breakfast was super & plenty of choice. It was our first time in a b&b & we would definitely return.
Kerbside appeal was a little disappointing. We were staying with friends & they also had similar comments to ours. The front garden was a bit unkempt & the front door/porch way would benefit from a clean. Nothing serious, and it didn’t take anything away from our stay as the rest of the property was very good.
