It's very good value for money. The decor is a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean. The shower was really strong and the temperature was just right, there was a huge mirror in the bathroom with loads of shelving and storage. In the bedroom, there was a lovely dressing table with a mirror, loads of plug sockets, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, air con and a wardrobe. There was a blackout blind with curtains so there was no chance of light coming in. Staff were really friendly and helpful and if anything needed topping up/emptying/replacing at breakfast it was done immediately - they also made some lovely sandwiches for us to takeaway. It was only half an hour from Bude and 12 minutes from the location of the wedding we were attending so it was perfect. They also noticed the similar surnames of the rest of my family and put us together which was a great touch. The bedding and towels were great quality and the bed was lovely and comfortable.

There was quite a strong smell of sewage in our room - the septic tank was right outside so it could be that. We were there two nights and by the time we had been there one night and had the air con in it disappeared, which was why we didnt say anything but maybe something to look at? The rooms don't hide much noise, the room above us had really squeaky floorboards, so if you are a very light sleeper then you may be disturbed. The only other thing is we weren't told the WiFi code and there's no signal, maybe it's worth having it in the room?

Large, clean, comfortable room with a very large bed. Roomy bathroom with shower over bath. We stayed in the building to the left on entry to the golf club, which was adjacent to the road, so there was some traffic noise, but it didn't bother us. We did, however, get woken by a strange deep rumbling noise in which i think may have been a boiler room? Self-serve buffet Breakfast. Breakfast was disappointing in that we arrived at 9am and the bacon was very dry, hash browns were extremely greasy so couldn't eat them as were the fried eggs. We didn't bother having breakfast on the 2nd morning of our stay. Instead, we ate out in Launceston. All in all, a pleasant stay. Breakfast needs attention, though.

The staff are really friendly and helpful and seem to cope really well when the hotel is busy with guests and functions. As a golfing venue, mini golfers were having a celebration event . The staff did extremely well in keeping up with the demands that went with this. It was noisy as most of the event guests were children (boys) On the other times we used the restaurant, it was quite and relaxed.We had our granddaughter with us, and we had a family room separate from the hotel complex. Again, it was comfortable with the shower and toilet separate, no clashes.

Due to an event evening, the restaurant was busy and noisy. The group of mini golfers boys were rude and pushed my grandaughter off of the swing in the garden area, upsetting for me too. The boys were completely out of control. But this must have been hard for the staff as well as I could see they were stretched and Outside of the hotels responsibility. Well done to the staff, though. It's a shame that the golfing community couldn't manage to teach their mini golfers' manners as well as teach them golf. We had room 12, and this was comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a connecting door to room 13 . The occupiers there tried on several occasions to get access to our room via this door. It was something that they may not have been aware of, and it became very annoying.

The bedroom was very clean, I believe recently refurbished. A very comfortable bed, a good nights sleep was had by my husband and I. We were in a room with disabled facilities which could be discerning for some but did not affect us, or needed by other guests. The staff in the bar/restaurant were very polite and friendly and it was nice that they allocated an area for dogs in the bar area for breakfast and evening meal. The English breakfast was tasty with fresh tomatoes and mushrooms. Good walks around the golf course for the dog.

Unfortunately due to the size of the room the cups and kettle were on the bedside table rather than a small separate table like the rest of the rooms in the cottage. Maybe one could have been in under the window The first morning the English breakfast was a buffet where you could help yourself, but the second morning was served to the table and there was only options off the menu, I had asked for specific items from the menu but still received a small English breakfast, I was told the reason it was not a buffet breakfast was because there were less guests having breakfast!

We were very pleased with the room. Lovely big, comfy bed spacious and clean.. everything we needed for an overnight stay. The evening meal was delicious, good value and a varied menu. Buffet style breakfast was very nice. A good choice of hot dishes plus continental breakfast.

It didn't spoil our stay but traffic noise could disturb some guests. I am a heavy sleeper, so I had a good night's sleep once the window was closed.. our cottage was nearest the main road, so accommodation nearer the restaurant probably wouldn't be affected by traffic.

Aircon was a bonus during this hot Summer. Comfortable beds. Walk-in shower. Smart TV. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll stay again.

Our room for a couple with a dog was TINY. As we were staying for 3 nights there was nowhere to put things, a small table would have been great instead of a chair.

The breakfast was excellent value, well cooked and presented. The restaurant was clean and ideally situated.

In the main we had an enjoyable stay. Whilst our room was peaceful overnight it was spoilt somewhat on the night of the 12th by people in the room above moving about and the TV being on until 02.00 in the morning. The floor of the upstairs room creaked considerably ; the guests involved had decided to completely ignore the notice requesting peace and quiet between 22.00 and 07.00

Breakfast was excellent, our room was lovely .very warm though so thankfully we had taken a tower fan with us .Probably a bonus in winter but was very warm outside .probably could of done with a mini fridge in room however we also travelled with a portable electric cooler .The staff were really helpful and friendly. The whole resort was spotless .We had children with us and the activity centre onsite is brilliant.

We did stay in a separate block from our daughter and her family so nighttime when it was dark the 2 mins walk down the driveway wasn't lit up but again not a problem as we just used our phone torches .

The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice and good quality of ingredients. Being able to check out at 11 meant that we didn't have to rush to pack and have breakfast

We could hear other residents moving around and there was some road noise, although this did not stop us from sleeping. The building is at the other end of the drive from the reception, so it would be nice to have a footpath, rather than walking along the main drive way for the golf course

How clean my room was breakfast was good and lot of it there was lots for my grandkids to do it not all about golf book table 2 night for a meal food was good and price was better then some of the pubs in the area.

My room was ok but my son family room with the kids was hot they had to have the window opening all night
