I had a lovely two night stay at Trecorme Barton. It’s in a lovely, quiet location but visitors need to be aware it’s down a series of narrow country lanes, this wasn’t a problem for me but some might be intimidated by it! The bonus of this is that once you are there it’s so quiet and private. Nicola was a fabulous hostess, made sure I was comfortable and had all I needed. The room was an excellent size with lots of storage and the ensuite bathroom was also large and suited my needs with an electric shower over the bath. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the cooked breakfast was freshly made to order using produce from local farms including milk from the host farm’s cows! Omelettes and smoked salmon were also on offer. All in all a lovely stay!

Very warm welcome from Nicola. Very rural location through windy narrow lanes but the location is beautiful when you get there! Nicola helpfully provided a list of places to eat and we were happy with our choice. Large comfortable room with everything we needed - we really enjoyed the view with the cows and chickens. She was flexible with the time for breakfast and offered a wide choice including very locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The hot food was freshly prepared and delicious.

I found the shower over the bath a bit awkward to adjust but it was fine once I had!

It was so quiet and homely. Like a guest rather than a resident. The host was lovely and the breakfast was really tasty, fresh and from quality ingredients. For my purpose to work the next day locally it was ideal.

The check out is rather early but this is not unusual. Finding the property with satnav was done but it is a long way down lanes - I don’t mind this and I’m used to it. Not for those without transport! Beautiful if you drive!!

Loved the quiet location. Easily found using Google maps. Nicole and Dave and wonderful people and couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one. Amazing breakfasts using local produce and milk from their own farm. What's not to love here.

The host was so very welcoming and helpful.The room was very clean and a lovely size, as was the ensuite. The room was very well equipt, and well thought out. It was a really lovely breakfast, and the host was very attentive. The setting was very quiet and tranquil. All you can see is beautiful trees and hills.

The bed was very creaky, and every time I turned over, the wooden bed base creaked loudly. Which was a massive shame as I chose the place to have some real peace and quiet.

Absolutely loved this place. Met at the door by a wonderfully happy and engaging lady.. made us feel extremely welcome. The B&B was extremely rural, we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite the location provided. Breakfast was excellent with a full English, yoghurts, cerals and prunes.. cannot faul the host or this venue, if im ever back to this part of the country, we will return to Trecorme Barton.

Nicola was an all round perfect host from the time she met us on the drive to the time we left. Very informative for days out and attentive to our needs. The room and bathroom were spacious and airy and contained everything we needed for our stay, We loved the fresh milk straight from the farm. The house's location is amazing, stunning views and peaceful, great to get away from the regular hassle and bustle. We didn't think it could get any better! Then came breakfast, plenty of variety and cooked perfectly, it was like a small banquet every morning, plus we could have a daily catch up with Nicola. We would highly recommend Trecorme Barton and we hope to return at some point in the future.

Peaceful quiet setting. Comfortable bed. Friendly chatty host offering great suggestions for evening meals in local area. Fabulous cooked breakfast.

Lack of directions not having Sat Nav in hire car. Warning of narrow windy country lanes to access property.

Very cute and traditional cottage. The breakfast was exceptional and I was sorry to only have eaten a small amount because it was a bit early for me, but all products fresh and some from the farm itself!

Because you are very much inside the host’s house, you can feel a little self aware, but they are lovely!
