We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast but were told of it's availability, times served and that it was buffet style. Room and bathroom were clean. Location fairly good. Mostly quiet.

Shower screen is a bit of a flawed design so meant water went a bit everywhere but not too bad. Bed comfy enough, bit firm. Mirrors in weird places making it difficult to sit and do makeup. No Smart TV so couldn't screen cast. 20GBP per day for parking is quite literally a con, when the rooms are basic for the price paid and could and should include the parking fee. Crispy towels.

"I had a lovely, comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I appreciated receiving a text beforehand to ask about the facilities – a nice touch. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, and the young man who assisted me went out of his way to ensure I knew where everything was. He was also very considerate, clearing things away without needing to be asked. The service was excellent, and I will definitely be staying again. Thank you Location wasn’t the best to find.

While the room itself was fine, I think the layout could benefit from some rethinking to maximise space. I was also hoping the parking would be free, but I found the charge to be a bit steep. For comparison, John Lewis parking is just £10 for the entire day, so I wasn’t expecting the parking cost to be quite as high here."

Location was excellent and very convenient for the city centre. The hotel’s great advantage for us was its excellent parking facility attached to the hotel. It wasn’t cheap at £20 a day but it’s convenience and security made it a great asset. The hotel looked recently refurbished and the public areas were bright and clean. The bedroom was neat, minimalist with a modern walk-in shower (non-negotiable for us) and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was included (reflected in the rate). A generous conventional buffet served in a large informal space with decent if unadventurous food that,if you needed or wanted it, could certainly prepare you for a demanding day. The staff were amiable, helpful and professional although the hotel wasn’t as labour intensive as some. Overall it suited our needs very well and although the Saturday price was high that was true across the city and if our needs were repeated we’d definitely use this hotel again.

The bedroom was small with access to one side of the bed a challenge. The room facilities were a bit Spartan although to be fair that wasn’t a big issue for a single night stay. The building is a big one and the modern minimalism of the public areas was slightly lacking in warmth and character. Functional might be the word. In an ideal world I would have liked more wholesome breakfast options but I did eat those on offer so it’s hardly a complaint!

All the staff were amazing from start to finish, they were swift and very efficient at reception when checking in. We were looking for somewhere to eat for dinner as it was my Son's birthday and they were very helpful with suggestions and where they were located. however, due to the bad weather we chose to stay and eat at the hotel which was the best idea! Everyone got a delicious meal of their choice with very generous portion sizes. All of our rooms were very clean, super comfy and sumptuous, the single beds were huge! almost like small doubles, so much so that I didn't want to get up in the morning. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazingly invigorating. Breakfast was great for everyone, my mum had vegetarian options and I had diet options so everyone got to eat plenty of everything they wanted, including the birthday boy with a special fruit and chocolate birthday waffle. Another great stay at Hampton by Hilton, we will definitely be returning in the coming years whilst my Son is at Leeds University!

The chips with 2 of the meals were a little on the hard side, but the matter was resolved when Fatoush took feedback to the chef and then offered us some complimentary drinks.

Situated near the city centre. Secure parking. Hotel was nice, comfortable and offered a good choice of breakfast.

Stayed in room 905. Only complaint I have is there were several stains on the bedroom carpet which were noticeable as soon as we walked in. So therefore this should of been addressed by the housekeeping staff. Before checking out I informed the reception staff and she apologised and said they were aware some of the carpets were like that. I did think that was a little unprofessional to give me that information, and if the hotel were aware of it then why ignore the problem. Overall everything else was good.

Good value for my one night stay with complimentary breakfast but no tea or coffee as both machines were out of action at breakfast time. I did not like the fact that the hotel took £1 out of my other account after l had already paid for the room on another card!!! Their explanation was to check if l could afford the room….. this, as a frequent traveller was insulting & in my opinion an unauthorised payment as they did not tell me they were taking said payment. Okay, it was just £1 but it is the principle of the matter that has so annoyed me. Will probably look for a more “customer friendly” hotel when next in Leeds.

Having to book the hotel urgently and traveling 4 hours the welcome was so nice. The room was perfect and comfortable plus very clean, unfortunately the pillows on the bed where feather but when my husband went to reception to ask fornon feather pillows they had no hesitation to change them (I'm asthmatic). But we must mention the evening staff especially Fatou who was so caring and attentive after returning to the hotel quite upset she saw that we where okay also got me a glass of water and on ordering some food she brought it upto our room asking if we needed anything else and just to call her if we did. Also Lily who served my husband at the bar later again so helpful. In the morning the breakfast was really good and again the staff where excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Just to be aware of the £20.00 parking charge that's per day

I recently returned from a wonderful stay and wanted to share my experience. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that satisfied all our preferences. The room was exactly as expected - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, making it easy to access the main tourist attractions and with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

one thing that bothered me was the dirty carpet in the room.

A really clean and modern-looking hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and super helpful, the breakfast was tasty, and there was a wide selection of cold options available. The room was light and bright, comfortable, and had good working air condition. The car park was secure, easy to find and right outside the hotel, making it very convenient.

The hot selection at breakfast wasn’t as extensive as other Hampton By Hilton hotels I’ve stayed in, and it took a while for empty items to get replenished. The parking was also a little steep, considering there’s a public car park a two-minute walk away that’s half the price.
