A very nice hotel in a safe area, across Finsbury Park. I had a one person room which was big enough, with a teabar and big fan. The bathroom was small, but had a very good water pressure in the shower. I was very happy this hotel had an elevator as well. I didn't include breakfast during my stay. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. They even handed me an international plug as I forgot mine! Manor House underground was a 5min walk, but Finsbury Park was a good 10min walk away and wasn't nice to walk with a suitcase. I recommend going from Manor House with suitcases even though it doesn't have an elevator, because the roadwork is way better towards the hotel and you don't have to walk up the hill.

Everything in the bathroom was crooked and my stuff kept falling off the sink and table. I kept sliding in the shower for the same reason haha, but it didn't bother me too much. The beds weren't very comfortable as I could feel the springs and it was nice of them to provide earplugs, because the road next to the hotel makes a lot of noises during the night, this made sure I didn't sleep more than 5/6 hours a day. I couldn't hear the neighbours though, so the room was very soundproof. They were busy getting aircon installed. My room already had it, but it wasn't working yet, which was very unfortunate with 32 degrees. But it's good to know it will work with a next stay!

We had a really lovely stay. The room and bathroom were both big and very clean, with a great shower that had excellent water pressure. Our room was at the back of the hotel on the lower ground floor, which meant it was nice and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to the station, and the number 29 bus stopped right outside the hotel, taking you straight to Trafalgar Square. Perfect spot for exploring the city!

If I'm being picky, the mattresses could be a letter better. Could feel the springs.

Wonderful location for getting to and from Tottenham Hotspur stadium, warm and friendly staff. The room was clean and cosy with an added security chain on the door, great for a solo female traveller. The location was nice and quiet at night, so no added noise while trying to sleep, it also had a great air conditioning unit, perfect for the hot summer weather. I would use this hotel again if I am in the area and need somewhere to stay.

This is me probably being picky but the sink plug in the bathroom was annoying as it didn't hold the water, it just kept draining away, so I kept having to add water, not great when there is a shortage of water in a lot of places in the UK because of the weather. Also although I made staff aware of an allergy I have because of an autoimmune condition I was born with when I made the booking, it was not passed onto the staff sorting out breakfast which was disappointing, but quickly sorted.

I had booked a room with two double beds for our family and got upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with amble space for our baby crib. The car park was right outside the door which was convenient as we checked in quite late and had a lot to carry. This way we did not disturb anyone else, or had to go up many stairs. Staff was very helpful with the car parking situation and helped me go through the back entrance to avoid going round the front late at night to register our car reg.

Minor point, the apartment was above a smaller car park which looked like it was used as a fly dumping area. Not an issue for us as we found the last parking spot in the main car park. But then some removal men were making some loud noises from 8am as they cleared the area and dumped the furniture into a van right outside the door.

I had a comfortable stay overall. The bathroom was very clean, which is always a big plus. The air conditioning worked perfectly – a real lifesaver during the warmer days! The staff were all super friendly & genuinely helpful, which made a big difference throughout my stay. I also appreciated the added security at night with someone on the door – it gave the place a safe & secure feeling, especially when coming back late.

The hotel itself is a little outdated in terms of décor and furnishings. While everything functioned well, some areas could definitely benefit from a modern refresh. That said, the cleanliness & excellent service made up for it.

The location is good, the room was nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable, all staff friendly. Slept great. Some may find traffic noise an issue, but we didn't need the ear plugs kindly provided. This is a main route in London, and those expecting otherwise should do their research first. The shower had great pressure and heat. There are plenty of towels and extra pillows. We didn't use room coffee etc, had breakfast. Varied selection and enjoyed the bacon and scrambled eggs. Check out smooth and wished a safe journey home. 🙂

The aircon didn't work, but we just opened windows. The breakfast coffee machine was not great, but overall, it was a great stay for one night.

Room was comfortable and the room and bathroom the cleanest in any hotel we've stayed in (including 4/5* hotels). Just opposite Finsbury Park, so we had a stroll to a local pub for a meal in the evening. Breakfast was delicious - needed to help ourselves, no staff really about, only to take our breakfast voucher (but we were up early - breakfast from 7am). Came by car - £10 per night. Ample space and great to find in London. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Couldn't get air conditioning to work, could have called down for help, but managed with opening window instead.

This was a bit of an unexpected gem which exceeded my expectations. Comfy bed, well-cleaned throughout, friendly and professional reception staff, easy to check in and out, wi-fi and tv worked well, handy location for public transport with bus stops within a minute’s walk and two tube lines about 8 mins walk. Thought i may be charged a hefty price when i needed a bottle of water in the evening - but it was what I’d pay in a local shop and very refreshing not to feel ripped off!

On quite a busy road, area is a bit soulless but these are minor gripes as it’s fast to get to town and other more fun places. One or two small examples of fittings being a bit worn ( but still clean!)

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, arranging the parking was very straightforward and it was just to the rear of the hotel. The room was clean and had everything needed. Location was a short walk (about 8 minutes) down to the restaurants, bars and bus/tube station. Lidl was very handy! And because the area is quite bustling we felt okay to walk about. Found a nice little Mexican restaurant called Primos which is worth a visit. The hotel is right across the road from Finsbury Park which was quite pleasant. All in all, it was right for what we needed - a base to go out and explore from.

With its location on a main road (and our room being at the front of the hotel) you could hear the traffic.The hotel did provide ear plugs as a courtesy in the room which was a thoughtful touch. I take my own earplugs everywhere anyway so I wasn't too bothered. But those who are light sleepers may want to request a room at the rear of the hotel. Essentially for the price and location I was happy with my stay.

I thought this was an excellent hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel clean with well thought out facilities. We went on a very hot day and to find air con in the room was the best added bonus. Breakfast was very good and I'd definitely recommend it to others and come again.

The only thing that stopped me from giving it 10 was that the pillows didn't smell great. A damp smell. I checked the towels and they smelt clean so I'm not sure why the bedding wasn't the same. Perhaps not used much as we were right at the top? Still comfy.
