The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance from the ExCeL. There are also tram stations nearby. The staff are very friendly and attentive, polite and resourceful. The rooms were clean, in the sense we couldn't find any rubbish left behind by previous guests; however, there was dust enough to write with. Breakfast was superb. While I cannot judge a British breakfast, I am confident that continental guests will be pleased with the selection on offer.
Dust… and the ladies in the breakfast room. They are always taking your dishware away, right after you have finished. Sometimes you don't even have time to finish your coffee, the mug is just taken away. Yes, you can have another cup of coffee, but it won't taste the same.

Good standard through the property. The rooms are big enough for a sofa bed for families. The shower gel and stuff is really nice.. Nice change at breakfast with the make your own waffles otherwise breakfast is of good enough quantity and selection. Once you work out the public transport it is quite easy to get into the city for major tourist attractions. Great to watch the arrival and departure from city airport just across the Dock Very helpful reception staff
Evening meals were pretty limited menu and didn't have a kids menu option. The location is good but public transport can be an additional cost so do factor this in when choosing. And also factor in the potential disruption to that system and how it may impact your experience Not the fault of the hotel but something to be aware of when planning your trip. No washroom on the ground floor was a bit odd (but may be done to discourage drop in use from non guests)

Quite often when you book an accessible room you arrive to find that the room is not as accessible as it claims to be, here was not the case. Room was plenty big enough for me to get around in my chair and transfer safely onto the bed. The bathroom was an actual wet room with plenty of space for transferring onto the shower chair, sturdy grab rails and multiple emergency cords in case of falls. Reception has a lowered desk for checking in/ordering at the bar, lifts were a good size and staff were very accommodating at breakfast and just genuinely accommodating to my needs. Will definitely stay here again as a wheelchair user.
Nothing, we had a great stay.

Great access and location without the hustle of centre of London, we arranged lots of activities within 48 hours, speed boat, squid game, London tower, Paddington, London dungeon, Paddington’s and shrek plus food, travel, site seeing loved it all and hotel was amazing clean, friendly staff who also accommodated our bags before and after checking in/out amazing stay will return. This is one of the only hotels I have not just had toast for my breakfast too (picky eater not any hotels fault) but had breakfast both days. Good location for plane watching
Maybe extra lights around the area but not up to the hotel

We were booked for an event at London Excel and location was excellent.
During breakfast we were joined in the restaurant by two, let's call them 'night working' ladies who going with their clothing, had been 'invited' to spend the previous night. That particular morning the breakfast was very busy with a number of families and a group of teenage boys whose chins fell to their chests and their eyes must have been burning!! We were shocked, not at the ladies themselves, but that the hotel allowed this to happen, restaurant should have stricter rule that it's for paying guests only and not for 'guests who have been paid'!!!

The hotel was better than expected. Very clean and quiet, comfortable. It is located on the river shore, and only a few minutes walk from the nearest DLR station, which is part of the London public transport, and which takes you to the Jubilee underground line - with it all the attractions are easily reachable- in just 4 stops. The breakfast is way above the normal English hotel breakfast. It is a mix of continental and English breakfast, and you can even make your own waffels in the morning. We were very happy with it. Alltogether I strongly suggest this hotel if you want a clean, comfortable and affordable accomodation.
We are a family of five, so we asked for rooms next to each other. The hotel confirmed this request in writing before our journey, however failed to give such rooms upon arrival. After a bit of a fuss, finally the manager on site cooperated, and found a room opposite each other on the same corridor. It was a bit disappointing to have to argue upon arrival, but finally everything was in order, so thank you for the help and solution.

The hotel was excellent in almost every way. It was a bit too far from central London for sightseeing activities. However, excellent public transport links. Once you get to know your way around. On arrival, we were informed that the elevators were out of order. And we were on the 4th floor. Reception had someone on hand to assist with our bags. Which was great. However, later on our first evening, one of the elevators was repaired & fully operational for the remainder of our stay. The breakfast was amazing!! So much choice we had something different every morning! We would recommend the Hampton by Hilton to all our friends and family in the future.

I had a pleasant stay at the Hampton by Hilton London Docklands. The rooms were clean and quiet, although not very spacious — just enough for a comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and responsive, always quick to reply to messages and assist with any questions. One great convenience was the option to store luggage, which made our travel plans much easier. The only downside was the breakfast — it was a very traditional English breakfast ;), which might not suit everyone’s taste. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay in London.

Beds are always comfortable, pillows are ok. Bathroom is good with nice showers. Reception staff were friendly. Breakfast staff were excellent, helpful when there wasn't a table and always spot on with clearing tables. Breakfast was OK, would prefer tomatoes rather than omelette style eggs. Good choice of cereals etc, and lovely coffee. Close to ExCel centre.
Room wasn't cleaned much, but we did have lots of stuff around the room. Needs an extra chest of drawers or more storage space for clothes. Windows were filthy with view of hotel next door. Breakfast- tomatoes rather than omelette, bring back mini tubs of jam rather than the squeezy things.

excellent breakfast. It was so easy to get into the city centre with a train leaving every ten minutes. London Cable cars were close too. Staff were very nice and helpful and the front desk as well as the bar were open 24/7. The room was clean and the bed was nice.
We had the pull out couch, next to the double bed (as we stayed with 3 people in the room). It made the room fairly small and sometimes difficult to move around, for example it was almost impossible to sit at the desk. A normal family room, with more space, would have been better. Sometimes you would have to wait a long time before a table became available at breakfast.
