We had a fantastic stay there. Train station is super close by and connects very well to the center of London. Breakfast was very good, but maybe more bananas and tangerines, instead of only apples could give variety. Additionally the black coffee from the machines is not really dark coffee, they might need calibration. The rooms are super confortable and the room service was top, although the carpet was full of stains and looked very dirty.

The hotel feels brand new and very well maintained. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom that is convenient enough to share between two people. A kettle in the room is a nice touch for making tea or coffee. Breakfast is amazing – fresh, varied, and much better than what you typically expect at this price range.

The only downside is the neighborhood. There aren’t many restaurants or cafes nearby, and reaching the hotel can be a bit tricky without a car or proper planning. However, once you’re there, the hotel itself more than makes up for it with comfort and service.

This hotel has been recently renovated, so it was lovely and new. The rooms were well organized. The shower was excellent - lots of pressure and hot water. Shampoo was also nice. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The room had many place to connect for power. ( We needed the English plugs) The breakfast was also excellent offering a traditional British breakfast plus a European selection. The hotel was located adjacent to the Thames Path which would take you to Tower Bridge. Bus and subway options were less than 1/2 km from hotel

The hotel is not attractive from the outside so it was deceiving because internally it was nice. The heater in our room was not working but staff brought a portable heater which was appreciated.

Well kept hotel with excellent industrious staff. Warm and comfortable, which adds to the charm. Ideal location for visit to Canary Wharf. Good breakfast selection.

Paying extra for parking as a booked guest. Quality of some breakfast food, Apple juice & jams.

I can recommend the hotel. Classic Holiday inn. :-) We had a very nice stay here for 5 days, with my wife and adult daughter. daughter was happy with the birthday decorations. thank you to Miss Manager Nioca :-)¨ All the staff were very pleasant and smiling and helpful. The room is over 20m2 (incorrectly written 12m2 on the booking) and is nice, clean and bright. You also have individual air conditioning here. electrical sockets I need an EU adapter, but each also has two classic USB ports (USB C no) Double bed for 2 people OK, approx. 1.5m wide and comfortable. (I am 193 cm tall, my wife is 176 cm tall). comfortable high mattresses. Also the sofa bed was OK for 1 adult or 2 children. Every day clean fragrant towels and bath towels and cleaning. There is quality soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Kettle,cups, tea, coffee in the room. Large LCD TV, ideal for watching the Olympics I was a little worried about the surroundings of the hotel when ordering, but it's completely OK and safe and about 5-6 minutes away, preferably via the Yurta cafe. The hotel is 2 stops by subway from the center from the Tower. When planning your trip, it's good to know that the Bank and Monument stations are the same :-) google maps don't know that. Very good breakfast. baked ham, beans, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, toast, and sweet croissants, muffins, fruit (banana, apple, orange, tangerine), yogurt, juices... Vending machines for good coffee and cappuccino, including takeaway packaging .(great:-) we recommend

Good food. Well designed hotel obviously from years of experience. Outstanding bed. Slept like a dream. Amazing helpful and friendly staff. A solid 9 stars.

There were some incongruous things to explain the deduction of one star: • shower heads non adjustable (they cost £10). • knifes, forks and spoons right at opposite end of breakfast area from the foods for which you need cutlery. • fruit juice machines have the names of the juices along the top of the columns containing the juices, but the word water at the bottom, so at first glance you think the columns contain only juices or only water.

It was a bit challenging locating the Hotel, but that was because it was late and dark, so walking from the train station was a bit tricky, and the scaffolding in front from the renovation work didn't help. It would have been nice to have something at the train station pointing in the Hotel direction or as a means of communicating with the hotel incase of difficulty locating the place. But by the time we settled in, i didn't even remember the stress of getting in or the renovation work. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb - fresh, full of variety and of course a buffet. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I find myself in the area, i would definitely book the hotel again (I really hope the new fasade will match the nice service when they are done with the renovation)

The hotel near underground and bus stop . The room and bathroom very clean with shower gel and shampoo , the bed comfortable. There is a kettle, coffee, tea , iron. , heating - everything what you need. English and continental breakfast to choose from. The friendly staff .My room has been upgraded in the same price . I was pleasantly surprised.More than I expected for my short stay at a good price.

The building is under renovation and the entrance has to be found on the side of the building, but it is well marked. Personally, I wasn't bothered by the renovation works because I spent the day outside the hotel and when I came back in the evening it was already quiet.

The staff were really friendly, attentive, and gave 5 star treatment to all guests. The whole hotel smells amazing! Room itself was clean, shower immaculate, which is important to me. Room was mostly sound insulated, only heard feint siren sounds on a busy road and very few noises from inside the hotel. Staff were very good at managing breakfast, monitoring for food and utensils running out, and cleaning up diligently. The location was an easy commute into central London by bus or DLR.

There is a great deal of construction to the front of the hotel and the neighbouring lot so we had to use the side entrance, and our room overlooked the construction site, but no fault of the hotel. One of the pillows I had smelled like greasy hair, I'm certain the linen was washed, but the smell may have permeated to the pillow inside. Location is not a well kept part of London, really smelly coming towards Limehouse DLR station and a lot of litter about. Again, no fault of the hotel.

We have stayed here on a previous trip, and the standard this time was equally high. The hotel is within walking distance of the DLR which makes it easy to access central London. Unfortunately the line was closed for two of our days this time, and the bus is a lot less convenient, but this is not within the hotel's control obviously. The rooms are not big when the sofa bed is made up, but there is enough space for three. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. There are plenty of breakfast choices available.

There's not much to improve on. My only comment would be that they probably need to keep a closer eye on the food quantities during the busier periods at breakfast.
