Really good value for money, bed was comfortable, room cleaned every morning and new towels were given to us daily. The location is really good, with both bus stops and subway stations close. Some really good breakfast spots are close as well as the Old Spitalfields Market. The staff is really helpful, Gustavo was lovely during our check-in, answered all questions we had, gave us some tips and always greeted us with a smile. We stayed 5 nights and it fulfilled all our needs for our stay in London! :)

Not a dislike, more a disclaimer for travelers with guests - since the hotel is next to the subway station, there are a lot of dr*g addicts, alcoholics and homeless around the street, so maybe avoid if with kids.

The location of the hotel was excellent. 1 min from the tube stop. The hotel was within walking distance of the Tower of London. There are many shops and cafes in the area. Tower 22 and Liverpool station are also within walking distance. The hotel is well equipped. However, there are very few elevators for the number of rooms. Sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes for the elevator. Excellent breakfast with a large selection, but the breakfast room is small due to the capacity of the hotel and sometimes you have to wait until a place becomes available. The price of the hotel is a little higher for its category, but we had a very pleasant stay there

The coffee at breakfast is not good at all.

The hotel is in a very convenient place right around the corner from Aldgate East tube station, which made it easy to get right into the heart of London for shopping, sightseeing and going to the theatre. The room was a good size and very clean and quiet, so I was able to rest at the end of the day. Breakfast was a choice of cooked and continental meat, dairy and plant-based options, which seemed to be refreshed fairly often by staff who looked after the restaurant, so that was more than enough food to set me up for hours afterwards! I think there was also the option to eat in the restaurant for dinner, so that was handy too.

The room just looked into a central courtyard, so there was no view, but this is probably why it was quiet.

Location! Convenient for sightseeing, with Aldgate East tube station just around the corner and Liverpool street station within 15 min walking. Many city attractions in walking distance (Tower, St. Paul’s cathedral, Tate modern,…). Breakfast was good, but better come when less busy, if you can, otherwise sitting may be an issue, no fruits left, cofee machine may be empty. Rooms are small but very practically equipped.

In a room for 2 people, there were constantly only 2 big towels provided. We are not spoiled, just find it difficult to use the same towel throughout the day for the face, body and hair… Each evening when we came back to the room, we asked for small towels and kind receptionists provided them without further questions. But small towels were never replaced, only big ones. We saw other people asking for towels too. It makes me wonder if this is a hotel policy to minimize costs by providing only 1 towel per person and providing another one on request only? There are certainly other (less annoying) ways to decrease costs and impact on the environment….

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and they were changing the towels and cleaning the room daily. Quiet area also. You have right beside the hotel Tesco(you can get whatever you need) or any other local shops. Two minutes away from the Aldgate underground station (very handling).

The only minus here was the food Breakfast is the same everywhere, but we have dinner in one night and the kids pasta was sour and even us, the adults we couldn't eat it. The potato wedges there here a bit old, and we also order steak with some steam veggies and sauce...all no taste.

Just back from a very enjoyable stay in IBIS Shoreditch and London. The location of the hotel is excellent, we were able to walk there from Liverpool St Train Station. It's a friendly and relaxed hotel and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We arrived very early on our first day and it was no problem to rest in the bar/lobby, have a coffee and use the facilities (bathroom, phone charging & luggage storage). The tube station (Aldgate East) is literally steps from the hotel and it was so convenient for getting around the city all weekend. Shops, restaurants and bars all nearby also. Our room was fine. On the small side and compact, but this was as expected. It was clean and comfortable for our stay. The breakfast was really excellent with a huge choice and there was plenty. We also had food and drinks in the restaurant one evening. Both the food and service were excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends planning a visit to London.

It was in keeping with similar hotels in the area but as with everything at the moment I suppose, it was a little pricey per night.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around London. Plus, the surrounding neighborhood of Shoreditch is very vibrant and fun to explore.

The hotel feels a bit old and scruffy- it’s definitely in need of a refreshing makeover. The mattress and carpet in the room looked worn, and the shower cabin had clearly seen better days. The breakfast is okay, but the dining area was not so well maintained. On the first morning, there was food on the floor and some dirty tables. And in general the food presentation was sloppy, with scrambled eggs and beans spilled around the serving trays. Even the yogurt had cornflakes mixed in which felt careless. Overall the staff was nice, but when I asked at the bar for a chamomile tea bag to use in my room, I was told I had to order a full tea. For a hotel in this price range, that felt unnecessarily petty.

I liked how close the underground station was. Also plenty of breakfast/dinner spots near the hotel. The staff was always friendly and when asked to lower the room temperature they complied and sorted it out when we were out.

The bathroom was simply put weird. It’s like a boat in the middle of the room. It smelled disgustingly from the drains everytime we used a bit of water, it was seriously off putting and was also loud when draining. Another downside was that we couldn’t air out the room - windows do not open. We would also not recommend the room to anyone with allergies due to carpets. Breakfast was okay but not really good, so we only took it once. It was way too expensive when you have other (better) options nearby. The dining room was too small, we were there off season and barely got a place.

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. They cleaned our room and changed the towels every day. Breakfast is inexpensive; however, the price is lower if you reserve it upon check-in. Also, public transportation is very close to the hotel. The bus station is in front of the hotel, really just four steps away. The district line and the other pink line are a 50-step walk from the hotel. It is an amazing location, and the service was amazing. I stayed in an Airbnb on every trip to London; this was my first time in a hotel. And it was an unforgettable experience for me. Also, the hotel was very nearby to Liverpool Street. So, you can find easily to Union Pizza, Donburi and Co, Spitalfields Market and Marugame Udon.

I don't have any bad reviews.

The check-in procedure was a breeze, got my key in no time and was in my room shortly after. The room was very nice and clean, good shower, comfortable bed. I loved the location of the hotel as well. Shoreditch area was very fun to walk around in (specially the Spitalfield market area), there was a tube station literally around the corner of the hotel. Couldn't have been more convenient.

Nothing I can think of really.
