This is the second time I have stayed here when I arrive from overseas. The location to public transport, restaurants other fun areas is excellent. Price point reasonable for London. Room was small with shared bathroom, I never saw anyone else use it, everything was clean and it is what I booked.

It just felt tired. My pillow was paper thin and I had to ask for a second one. Toilet brush was disgusting, it sounds petty but we all have to occasionally use it and seriously they don't cost alot to replace. Look to the details Kip. I had booked a third a third stay but cancelled as there are lots of other choices.

Simple convenience, friendly and helpful staff.

The withdrawal of free fresh coffee and substitution with powder when rooms don’t have kettles so you can’t make your own. A false economy and brand wrecker.

Good location. Clean bathrooms.

No heating controls in the rooms. It was freezing even in June and no way to turn the ac down or heat up. I was very cold all night. The male cleaning staff member knocked on my door with a do not disturb sign on, over 20 mins before my checkout time while I was packing. I put the sign up so I wasn’t disturbed as I’m disabled and need time to pack, so I started early and I was almost done before he knocked on my door ignoring the do not disturb sign over 20 mins before I had to check out! He was really rude too. The cleaner also left the large wheeled laundry trolley in the middle of the hall well before the elevator so I couldn’t even pass! I was wheeling my case and had a walking stick and he has just abandoned it a long way from here he was working.

Everything was great, the bathroom was shared, but still very clean, with hot water, toilet paper, shampoo/body wash, no issues with it. The room was clean, TV was working, the wif-fi was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, next to the Hackney Central station, many coffeeshops and supermarkets nearby. The safety was also on the good level, with card access needed at the several stages on the way to the room (e.g. main entrance, near the elevator, near the entrance to the section etc). Everything was great.

The room had no window, which was a bit strange, but not a big deal.

Fantastic location easy to get to town with ease. Best prices in town for their room for that modern updated and clean look. Lovely room even better that it was not facing the train station and was exceptionally quiet. Super clean and staightforward check in as always. Bonus that its next to costa coffee our favourite coffee spot for that morning coffee.

Just on this visit the bed had a little dip so wasnt as comfortable to sleep in. All other times the bed has been great. Also the pillows could do with being a bit fluffier for me, or maybe have a couple per person.

I loved the fact that the train was literally next to the building. The location is great! Bus stops nearby as well. For the value, it’s actually pretty well. The AC is pretty cool in the summer as well and I felt pretty safe there as a female solo traveler. Rooms are exactly as shown in the photo and I would recommend it for budget travelers. The staff was really kind! Checkin and checkout was super smooth and nothing else is asked besides ID.

The only minus point is trying to find the hotel, which wasn’t really an issue. The building is combined with another hotel and I ended up going to the wrong one initially. But the staff there helped redirect me towards .Kip.

Great location and great value for money. For £50 a night I had a comfy bed and nice en suite bathroom.

I’ve stayed before so knew what to expect and for the money I paid it’s very hard to complain as it’s great value! I would say that the rooms are clean but there are little things like stains on the sheets, dusty shelves and dirt in the corner of the shower that are missed. My main qualm though is that often people sit on the sofas in front of the lifts and I had someone on the phone (talking very loudly) from 6am onwards one morning. Obviously not the hotels fault, but it would be good to have a sign to ask for quiet between certain times when the walls are so thin. That all said, it wouldn’t put me off staying again (with my earplugs!)

Really friendly staff, easy to find, clean and comfortable room, great value for money, excellent location in Hackney Central. Towels, toilettries and more were provided plus other comforts like a tv which helped make the stay even more comfortable. Great size room, great water pressure and temperature in shower. Would absolutely stay again!

Everything was great, only thing that may bother others (but we were fine with) was that the toilet door doesn't fully shut (maybe 98%).

The location and hotel were great—very affordable and ideal if you’re just looking for a secure, budget-friendly place to crash in London. The room doesn’t have a window, which was fine for me, though it might feel a bit claustrophobic for some. That said, the lack of a window made it wonderfully quiet and pitch-black—perfect for sleeping. The bed was really comfortable too, and I ended up having two of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages!

My only minor gripe was that the room got quite warm, and the fan provided was a bit noisy. So it was a bit of a trade-off: fan on for cooler air but with some noise, or fan off for peace and quiet but a warmer room.

Comfortable, clean rooms that provided us with suitable accommodation for our group of 18 for 1 night. We booked twin, studio with kitchen, family rooms and bunk group room for 6 and they were all very nice. Modern boutique type hotel with rooms styled with dark finishing. Good value for money in a busy location. Close to shops, food and pubs plus right next to Hackney Central overground lines. Staff were very helpful with storing our luggage (given we had a group of 18) when we had a delay with our flights and had to work through rebooking with the airline. The staff also provided us with bathroom facilities after we checked out which was extremely helpful and something I assume they didn’t need to do.
