LOCATION It was an excellent part of my travelling. location is 15 15-minute walk to see river The River Thames, London Bridge, and Tower Bridge,100 meters from the metro station, and 150 meters to catch the Nation Coach bus service. it is suitable for any aspect. ROOM Every room has an attached bath & heating system BREAKFAST They have a kitchen which is open for self cocking, otherwise breakfast is available as required

easy to catch public transport like meter subway, taxi, and bus service for any airport local market only 100 to 300 meter distance in other mean location is perfect for family or solo travellers everything are available within your budget

Excellent value and right next to Bethnal Green tube station so a very easy location from which to get around London. The accommodation is basic which is what you would expect for the price. They advertise a kettle although, as during my previous visit, there was a fridge although no kettle in the room. The heating was full on which was great for February. You can hear the trains clearly which did not disturb me although this might be a problem for other guests. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for an inexpensive stay in London. You get a bed and a bathroom which, for a short stay, is all you need. A local Sainsburys and a coffee shop is right on the doorstep so you have everything you need at hand.

A kettle in the room would be very welcome.

breakfast used to be included now it’s extra 10 pounds no cups / no tea bags/ no coffee bags no sugar the window in the room was broken and not possible to close it properly we were little worried when we were going out and someone could break in the room from the window as the window was at ground floor very small room

Spacious triple room with private bathroom. Everything was fine. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Clean room and bathroom. Yes, it was quite basic but great value for the price, we felt. Perfect location for concert in Victoria Park and exploring the area next day. Easy walk to Brick lane, Spittalfields etc. Nice pubs and places to eat near-by.

I loved the rooms they were so elegant and we’re really nice set up and the chocolates and the massive tea and coffee selection was a lovely touch from them also had the best breakfast ever was to die for

Cheap and cheerful, room was basic but served its purpose, comfortable bed and overall the accommodation was ideal for a night away, 1 tube ride from main London station,great amenities nearby.

The price was excellent and the staff friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Don't expect bells and whistles. Basic accommodation in very easy reach of central London. Will stay again.

It would have been nice to have a kettle with some tea and coffee which is usually supplied by even basic hotels. The bathroom was tiny. To access the w.c. you had to close the bathroom door which was only possible by squeezing yourself into a small space between the sink and the towel rail on the wall opposite the sink!!!! The room is not refreshed at all by cleaning staff during your stay.

I checked in on 18th July around 20:30 and was attended by a very helpful and polite desk clerk. He'd sent me a message immediately after I'd made the last minute reservation to inform me that Booking.com has the information about air conditioning at the hotel wrong. They only have working fans. To be honest, despite the heatwave, the fan in my room was the perfect solution! He also allowed me to see two very different available rooms so that I could choose the one that suited my needs best. I actually took a basement room and it worked out very well. I met him again during my checkout on the morning of the 20th. He politely asked about my stay and what I think the hotel could do to improve for future clients. In my opinion, as far as desk clerks go, he is a real professional! The location was perfect! There are city buses and a train station within a few feet of the hotel. It was very easy to get around the city without wasting time. Furthermore, there are lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, takeaways, shops and a park in the immediate area. Those luxuries made City View a great last minute deal since I was moving around on foot. It's in a busy part of the city and at all hours people are going from one place to another, yet it's quiet in the hotel. I felt comfortable and safe walking around alone, even at night. The bed is big, firm and comfortable. I have a black light on a flashlight that I always carry. I confirmed that the sheets and towels were clean, although a bit worn. The fridge worked well and kept my fruits, juices and water nice and cold. The water pressure in the shower was very good, too.

Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff need to be given more paid hours and instructed to wipe down surfaces like the television, the chair, the bathroom walls, the bed's headboard, night table, fridge and so on. They were not clean at all! Years of dust and other substances were clearly piled up and visible on just about everything. I doubt that the cloth shower curtain had ever been cleaned either. It had so many large stains and so much dirt on it that I used a clean bin bag like a glove, removed the shower curtain, pushed it into the bin, then covered it with the bin bag. I put the curtain back up the day I left.

Good location, busy area. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel basic but that is what we expected from the photo's, review's and price.. We were going to the festival up the road so we used as a base to go festival and explore London with tube station and bus stop right outside the hotel it was perfect for this.

Hotel is a little tired but it was ok for us and our budget. The area was noisy but you are in London so if you don't expect a bit of noise then you are in the wrong place and didn't bother us as we are used to city noises :)
