The room was a full apt and very comfortable with full service, daily. The restaurant has great food and in a nice setting. It’s a lovely building. They were doing some construction on some rooms but we never heard a sound from it and were there for 5 works days. Lots of business people staying here because it’s a great value.
The immediate surrounding neighborhood is run down and we encountered undesirable people. It’s next to Victoria Park which is beautiful and clean. Also very close to a tube station. Just plan to need to walk a bit to get to nice restaurants or take a cab.

Loved the room, was a great size. The building itself was stunning to enter. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was massive and really comfy, like sleeping on a clould. There was air con in the room which was handy for the weather and also being on the third floor. Decor was nice and rather cool. Bathroom was a good size and had all the toiletries. Room had a coffee machine and also a small smeg fridge, which was great to store our stuff for breakfast.
The room could do with basic upgrades. There was stains on the wall that were questionable. There was also mouldy sealant around the taps area of the bath. The showerhead needed to be replaced. The door to the batheoom was a sliding door, but don't think it was aligned fully as there was a decent sized gap when shut. Also the frosted glass - why aren't bathrooms private anymore!? Also, we got a service charge under the door - based on other reviews, I had expected it. Just tell reception you aren't paying it. It's incredible rude to add on as we had forked out 400quid for 2 nights already. Also don't like that it has Shoreditch in the title - it's Bethnal Green.

Location is good, building has a nice old charm to it, room was spacious and quiet, staff were pleasant. One of the better value for money hotels I’ve stayed in in London.
Touch ups in the room from wear and tear could get some attention is a small constructive bit of criticism. What I didn’t love was the surprise service charge bill under the door in the morning despite paying for everything up front. Wasn’t mentioned anywhere and no indication to what it was for. Put a bit of a sour taste to what was a great two nights. Adds to a question of whether I’d stay again out of principle.

The facilities are beautiful. We absolutely loved the pool and the gym is really well kitted out. All feels super clean and fresh. The bath in our room was also a real bonus! Staff on reception were really friendly.
My only comment was that I’d said upon booking that it was my partner’s 30th birthday, and asked if there was anything special that could be done to make it extra memorable for him. They offered flowers for £50 (!!?) which I said he probably wouldn’t appreciate and then didn’t hear back when I asked for alternatives. I just think when you’re paying this much for a hotel room and you’ve made it obvious it’s a special occasion, some effort could have been made there. They could have at least wished him a happy birthday when checking in. Even a little note in the room to acknowledge the occasion would have been enough. Again, not a huge issue, I’m sure I could have pushed more once we’d checked in, but it’s the little things we remember.

Comfortable beds, lots of space, great position, staff extremes helpful and pleasant.
Caught by surprise with a gratuity charge pushed under the door on day of checkout. It was explained by reception that it’s in small print and is optional, but who reads that. Seems churlish to say no at that point as staff were so nice, but felt ‘awkward’ Would been nice to have a some biscuits along with the supplied tea and coffee facilities as this seems standard in less prestigious establishments. A warning with regard to filming taking place would have been nice, as we were woken with a lot of setting up noise at 7.30 am on day of departure, and the brightest lights I’ve seen just outside our windows on 2nd floor.

The hotel was very good, the staff were very nice and always smiling at us, during check in, the lady (michael) if I remembers the name correctly was very nice and welcoming, also she let us in early without the extra fees, I asked a high floor and a quiet room with baby cut and they did give us a nice and very quiet room and meet all our prior requests. Everything was already ready when we arrived early. the room is nice and very equipped with everything you need.
The hotel is not the typical 5 star you would expect from Marriott, but still a good one. If Landon city center is your main destination then the location is not very good specially for people with babies. since the nearest metro has no elevator, and taking a bus instead will extend the journey to about 40 min or more instead of the 15-20 min by metro .

Nice, spacious room with good amenities. Close to Bethnal Green station which was convenient.
Rooms are in the basement which I found a bit strange. Hotel also isn't in Shoreditch as advertised

Room was definitely beautiful and spacious! Especially, the bathroom had a large space to put our toiletry items that was a huge plus.
Our unit only had a washer but no dryer... although the hotel confirmed there would be laundry facilities prior to the stay + the label on the machine said "washer / dryer" but it only had the washing function. I was trying to do the laundry, but there was no place to hang my cloths in the room what so ever. It made me a bit disappointed. Also, the staffs at the reception in general were far from hospitality. There was 1 guy who seemed professional and gave the right response that we were looking for though.

Close to Bethnal Green tube station, only a 5 minute walk away, a fantastic looking building with very modern interior. Very friendly and attentive staff, housekeeping were fantastic, facilities were excellent and it’s only a short, very easy commute into central London. Very comfy beds, huge bathroom and a very well equipped kitchenette with all utensils you could need and even a washing machine (including dishwasher and laundry capsules!). Cannot fault this hotel, next time we plan a trip to London, this will definitely be my first port of call.
No complaints, everything was fantastic.

First, the staff at the front desk was very attentive. I needed to change our reservation as soon as I arrived (because of a family member's illness back home), and the women at the reception desk were informative, advising me on the process to use to coordinate responses between booking.com and the hotel itself. Second, the hotel is beautiful! I love historic buildings that have been repurposed, and Town Hall Hotel is an exceptional example. The marble entry and staircase are very stately, and the mid-century modern furnishings are a nice touch. The restaurant is pretty with big windows, and just beyond it is the former town hall courtroom - very interesting! Finally, our one-bedroom apartment was perfectly functional for the two of us. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with a bathtub! It's hard to find a tub in hotels these days. The sitting area was very roomy and comfortable, and the big windows in both rooms let in plenty of light. Our bed and pillows were comfortable - both of us had a great night's sleep! The kitchen had everything we needed (except a dishcloth for drying the few dishes we used - we washed them by hand instead of using the dishwasher) and we were particularly impressed to find both creamer and a plant-based milk alternative in the refrigerator. Our breakfast was very tasty and the service in the restaurant was professional and pleasant.
A dishtowel in the kitchen is the only thing I can think of that was lacking.
