The staff was really friendly, the location was good, and the hotel was clean.

There was no elevator, so it was difficult to carry my luggage up to the third floor and back down. Next time, please give me a room on the first floor.

The hotel was clean and located in a great location for museums, Covent Garden, theatres, etc. Near an underground station and lots of buses. The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh. We left our luggage with the hotel after checking out and returned later in the afternoon to collect, rather than trudging round London with suitcases all day! Would definitely go stay there again. Good price with breakfast in a good location. Bed comfortable and pillows not too hard. Lots of lovely coffee shops, restaurants and local shops around too.

There was no lift which may be a problem for those not so good with stairs but it did not deter us. There are rooms on the ground floors if that was an issue ( don’t let that put you off!)

Location was excellent - easy to walk to locations, or take bus or train! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff at front desk readily available. Breakfast was continental or a full English breakfast - had both and were excellent!

Lots of stairs at the hotel for example breakfast was down a flight of stairs, our room was 2 floors up. Completely manageable for us but if an accessibility issues, it would be a concern. We also kept windows open at night (it is January) as we get hot and didnt see a way to control coolness in room.

Great cooked-to-order breakfast, with many other options such as fruit, cheese, and cereal. My room was small (I think one of the smallest they had), yet clean, very quiet and comfortable with modern funishings. The bathroom was quite small, but had a surprising amount of counter space and the shower was strong. The location was superb... just steps away from University of London Senate House and the British Museum.

If you're the type of person who goes on holiday to hang out in your hotel room, this probably isn't the place for you. As I was in town for business, it was a perfect cocoon for me to return to at the end of the day. The stairs down to the room (and breakfast) might be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Really nice hotel from the first minute we arrived. Really friendly greeting and the room was super clean with a huge bed! Everything seem very modern but with nice antique bedroom furniture. Bathroom was clean with a spacious shower. The breakfast was cooked fresh and very tasty. Continental breakfast also offered and looked great with buffet options also available. Location is great being close to Soho and other areas.

The only tiny bad point was how hot the breakfast room was even though it wasnt very hot outside.

My sister, daughter and I shared a triple room and just adored this hotel! The location is wonderful. It’s directly across the street from the British museum. 30 minute walk to Big Ben. 15 minutes or so walking to Trafalgar Square. Breakfast each morning was hot and made to order, along with cold options. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind- especially the breakfast staff. In addition, our room was cleaned better than almost anywhere I’ve ever stayed. The housekeeping was meticulous. Very nice neighborhood with shopping and food nearby. We felt safe the whole time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were truly impressed with Staunton Hotel B&B for our London stay. The location was close to underground stations and key attractions, yet it was a quiet area. The room was clean and the breakfast was good, with plenty of options and fresh fruit. We stayed on the third floor, which if you don't mind steps was a great choice as it was extra quiet and private. The staff was helpful and even provided us with continental breakfast to take on our early flight when we departed.

The room did smell musty as reviewers mention, but we found that most of our stays in the UK had this problem since ventilation in bathrooms without windows is poor. It was unpleasant, but after two weeks of similar issues, this didn't surprise us.

Great location, several underground stations nearby, and easy to walk to many locations.

The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The tv had no picture and there was a huge crack in the closet mirror. Breakfast was a disappointment especially after reading some other reviews, and having decent expectations.

We knew there were a lot of stairs and no elevator going in so that was OK for us, but I would not recommend the hotel to someone with mobility issues. The room needs more electrical outlets. For example, there were no outlets in the bathroom, making it difficult to dry my hair. There were none by the two main beds, so it was hard for my husband to plug in and use his C-Pap. But overall, the hotel was nice and exceeded our expectations.

Great location to explore with really easy access to multiple methods of transport. Room was basic but the bed and bathroom were good. Staff were all great, very friendly. Breakfast was nice, with a reasonable choice. I liked the hotel stated that they didn't have lifts.

Our air-con unit stopped working, unfortunately as it was a weekend it was unable to be fixed. Some of the hotel is looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh.
