Dinner was excellent (both nights) Room was very clean, everything we needed. Breakfast staff very friendly.

Room was very small - small bed with a dog in the room, hard to move in. Shower was poor - hardly any pressure. Water from taps cloudy. Breakfast was lovely but the portion was a bit small. I ordered poached eggs, mushrooms, and beans, and I got one mushroom and one poached egg. Could have been a bit more! And don't serve those pre packaged croissants - they are very dry, taste stale. Some younger staff could do with training. Ordered bar drinks and it seemed to cause confusion. A small bit about the local area would have been nice (how to walk to the beach, local place to go for a drink etc.

plenty parking places. The hotel is conveniently situated for visiting the East Neuk, St Andrews and other places of interest in the area. We had a good breakfast. The hotel restaurant served food all day which was very convenient after returning to the hotel in the evening especially because there are no restaurants serving food in the evening in the vicinity. The hotel bar stays open till late.

nothing in particular. Our room was on the ground floor next to the restaurant so that there was some noise when the restaurant was busy but it closed at 9pm and we always had a good night's sleep.

Very clean tidy homely hotel with tasty food for evening meals and breakfast.The staff were friendly and helpful responding quickly to any requests made.We stayed in a double room for two nights which was small but comfortable and quite.As we were staying for six nights we were offered an upgrade to the suite which is a self contained flat with lounge kitchen and bathroom and bed room .It also had a large Tv and private WiFi excellent accommodation for a family or group of friends would thoroughly recommend.The location is up on a hill over looking the sea and is the perfect location for exploring all the lovely villages of the East Nook of Fife.Also in easy reach of many golf courses and the Fife costal path.

The staff were fabulous. We were attended to, at some point by 5 different people and they were all great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Plenty of choice and good quality. Breakfast was great and the porridge was delicious. Lots of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Our room, bedding, carpet etc were very clean. Great value for money.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like, but things of note were the noise of the traffic below our room window and the room was quite small. Neither would put me off staying again.

Apartment was amazing..large, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Full.breakfast was fantastic...big portion, well cooked and good quality. Staff were all exceptional...friendly, attentive and helpful. Genuinely dog friendly and welcoming....our visit was because our dog was getting a big operation in a nearby vet hospital and we lived a long distance away.

Situated on a busy street with no real views, but still well situated to travel to many lovely villages, beaches and golf courses.

The rooms were so spacious and beautifully furnished. The shower room was huge! There was nearly everything required in the kitchen. All the appliances and equipment were top notch. Great that it was dog friendly too. The staff were kind enough to bring my meals to the room so that I could eat at the dining table and watch TV at the same time.

It was a pity there was no bath. I'm sure there would have been enough room for one in the huge shower room. Then I would have felt like royalty! In the kitchen I couldn't find a sieve for straining the rice. Just a trivial little thing.

Really friendly staff, the food was excellent, good portions, the breakfast choice was really good, cooked perfectly and again ample portions

There is traffic noise in the day, being on a main road, but it does stop overnight, so does not affect your sleep. For me personally, the bed was too soft, but thats a personal choice. If you smoke, there are no outside tables or chairs to sit at, so you have to stand up on the car park by a designated wall mounted ash tray. I think they could make a small area with a couple of tables and chairs away from the main hotel, which would not impact on non smoking guests

Lovely, old building with a lot of character. Super friendly, helpful staff. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Impressive choice of whiskies! Very good value for money for the half board package. Easy to park. Would book again!

Hadn't realised the property is directly on the A915 and we had a room at the front so there was considerable traffic noise. The room wasn't very spacious and had no air con so it got rather stuffy. The bathroom was rather dated but clean and with generous towels!

The breakfast was excellent with a good variety m. Any thing you asked was not a problem The steak were very Helpful and nothing has a problem. My little dog love it too. Thanks for all your help.By the way our apartment was lovely and mad our Birthday and Anniversary a nice treat. Hope to see you all again Margo & Robert Armit from Dunfermline m

Nothing every thing was fine

I had asked for an accessible room and this was ground floor right next to the restaurant -very easy.The decor of the room was tasteful and a good selection of teas/coffee, toiletries etc. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully cooked. Nice choice on menu. Glad Sunday dinner had run out as the crab was excellent. All staff were absolutely lovely. Great place to stay for a night or two if you are exploring the coast line of East Neuk of Fife. We were en-route to Anstruther for a boat trip.

The room was lovely but on the small side for moving around the beds. However Mum and I were using it as a twin - with beds together as a double is probably fine.
