Hotel ,food ,room everything was lovely

The owner ,ruined and embarrassed my dads 75th birthday .we booked and paid for 3 rooms 340 ,booked a table for a meal 200 pound ,bought drinks from 1pm .there was 7 of us . I booked this in January for his special day .we got moved 4 times telling us there's no tables for us ,we got put outside in the pouring rain and live heavy metal band .eventually after a very embarrassing conversation infront of my dad the owner let us sit through the back .I did book a table before I went and there was lots of empty tables but she said they people could arrive.

Dinner was excellent (both nights) Room was very clean, everything we needed. Breakfast staff very friendly.

Room was very small - small bed with a dog in the room, hard to move in. Shower was poor - hardly any pressure. Water from taps cloudy. Breakfast was lovely but the portion was a bit small. I ordered poached eggs, mushrooms, and beans, and I got one mushroom and one poached egg. Could have been a bit more! And don't serve those pre packaged croissants - they are very dry, taste stale. Some younger staff could do with training. Ordered bar drinks and it seemed to cause confusion. A small bit about the local area would have been nice (how to walk to the beach, local place to go for a drink etc.

plenty parking places. The hotel is conveniently situated for visiting the East Neuk, St Andrews and other places of interest in the area. We had a good breakfast. The hotel restaurant served food all day which was very convenient after returning to the hotel in the evening especially because there are no restaurants serving food in the evening in the vicinity. The hotel bar stays open till late.

nothing in particular. Our room was on the ground floor next to the restaurant so that there was some noise when the restaurant was busy but it closed at 9pm and we always had a good night's sleep.

Very clean tidy homely hotel with tasty food for evening meals and breakfast.The staff were friendly and helpful responding quickly to any requests made.We stayed in a double room for two nights which was small but comfortable and quite.As we were staying for six nights we were offered an upgrade to the suite which is a self contained flat with lounge kitchen and bathroom and bed room .It also had a large Tv and private WiFi excellent accommodation for a family or group of friends would thoroughly recommend.The location is up on a hill over looking the sea and is the perfect location for exploring all the lovely villages of the East Nook of Fife.Also in easy reach of many golf courses and the Fife costal path.

Welcoming hotel with friendly staff. Fantastic evening meal in the very popular hotel restaurant (glad I booked in advance). Nice unhurried breakfast.

Room 3 was nice because it was all on its own away from the other bedrooms. However because the bathroom is next to the kitchen, I could hear the staff talking to each other - voices coming through the extractor vent. Not a big deal. I made sure the toilet door was closed and had TV on so the sounds were lessened.

Good location for overnight trip to visit local gardens in Fife.. Room comfortable and quiet, very clean, good soap and towels provided. Staff friendly and helpful. , Nice bar and good value restaurant. Free parking opposite.easy access to walking on Fife coastal path which was very pleasant.

Room was very small but adequate for our stay, not much space to move about.. Shower good power but extremely hot, needed to turn right down to avoid scalding.

The staff were fabulous. We were attended to, at some point by 5 different people and they were all great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Plenty of choice and good quality. Breakfast was great and the porridge was delicious. Lots of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Our room, bedding, carpet etc were very clean. Great value for money.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like, but things of note were the noise of the traffic below our room window and the room was quite small. Neither would put me off staying again.

Apartment was amazing..large, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Full.breakfast was fantastic...big portion, well cooked and good quality. Staff were all exceptional...friendly, attentive and helpful. Genuinely dog friendly and welcoming....our visit was because our dog was getting a big operation in a nearby vet hospital and we lived a long distance away.

Situated on a busy street with no real views, but still well situated to travel to many lovely villages, beaches and golf courses.

The rooms were so spacious and beautifully furnished. The shower room was huge! There was nearly everything required in the kitchen. All the appliances and equipment were top notch. Great that it was dog friendly too. The staff were kind enough to bring my meals to the room so that I could eat at the dining table and watch TV at the same time.

It was a pity there was no bath. I'm sure there would have been enough room for one in the huge shower room. Then I would have felt like royalty! In the kitchen I couldn't find a sieve for straining the rice. Just a trivial little thing.

Location was great, easy to find and good parking. The staff were great, very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area. The room was nice, bed was comfortable. En-suite is cosy but perfectly usable. Food was nice and good service.

Not a grumble, just to for awareness. It is right on a busy road, so don’t forget your ear plugs!
