The property and the host we're both amazing. Clean and comfortable room and common space. Great breakfast options. The host was super nice and dropped us off one day because we were getting late and public bus schedule was a bit off on that day. Communication was very clear and helpful

The property was great but the location itself is not the most convenient if you don't have a car. There are buses but in general it is better to stay in the main village of bakewell to save some travel time and waiting between bus changes.

For us, it gave us just what we were looking for.A quiet, relaxing break, near to all the sights and places we wished to visit. Victoria provided lots of extra little touches to the room, and everything we needed was supplied and appreciated. A good choice of breakfast each day; well cooked and presented. The house itself has a lovely ambience, and an interesting history too.From our room, the view was beautiful out over the Countryside

It was wonderful to stay in a heritage house. The bed was very comfortable and the linens pristine. The English breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Victoria was most helpful in providing suggestions for activities and directions to locations. The parking was accessible and much appreciated. Wifi was strong. a gathering room was available for our use. we enjoyed our visits with Maureen.

It was great! She let's us customize what we would like for breakfast in the morning and she is a great cook. She had detailed information and directions about a walking path to Chatsworth that brought me through farms and past forests full of bluebells which was incredible! One of the most lovely walks I have ever been on.

Location was great for a long weekend - off road cycle route to Matlock from the B & B. Room was very clean and the breakfast was tasty.

The only negative was having to share the breakfast table with other guests...we would have much preferred to sit on a table for two.

The location is brilliant for exploring the nearby towns of Bakewell and Matlock as well as being situated next to the Peak outlet village Lovely clean accommodation with the most amazing cooked breakfast I couldn’t fault this place and felt very comfortable staying there Thank you I will be back!

The bed was a super king and very comfortable, location was good. Well placed for chatsworth, excellent pub nearby. Breakfast was fine.

The television was very small as a deaf person I use subtitles and these were very difficult to read, but that is only a personal thing.

An excellent place to explore the Peak District. Clean and comfortable with very friendly service. A great team running the B&B. Perfect location. Very good breakfast choices. What more do you want?! As we had car trouble we were able to stay in our room until the RAC came which was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely accomodation, nicely placed for access to everything we wanted to visit. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Best nights sleep in a long time. Easy car parking.

Wasn't a problem but a folding door to the bathroom.

Victoria was a lovely host. The room was so cozy and the b&b gave us good vibes from the minute we walked in. The little things that showed attention to detail like a checklist of what we wanted for our breakfast and a toast warmer in our toast basket - things like these contributed to a very relaxing vacation. The location of the b&b is perfect if you want to to visit Bakewell and Chatsworth House like we did. We would definitely stay again.
