Breakfast was good. Good selection of both hot and cold options. Our room was comfortable although we had the one with an enormous bath actually in the bedroom! A bit quirky! The bed was very comfy. The dinner menu was a little limited, but all the dishes we sampled were well presented and cooked.

Access to the rooms was fine for us, but the stairs would have been difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The only shower available in our room was the attachment to the bath. That made it difficult to shower without spraying water round the bedroom!

The inn was cosy and clean. The food was exceptional as was the service from the staff

The only gripe would be that the bed tilted down slightly which meant I kept nearly falling out of the bed. But that's the fault of the hundreds of years old floor not the establishment

Beautiful room situated within a cottage directly opposite The Devonshire Arms at Beeley with private parking adjacent to the side of the property. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The decor was cosy and stylish. We particularly loved the HUGE rolltop bath and fabulous wet room. The staff were so lovely: super helpful and friendly. We ate the first evening and had the most wonderful dinner and dessert. Breakfast was also outstanding.

The cost. It is expensive, BUT you get what you pay for. Our twin Deluxe room with breakfast for 2 nights was just shy of £600.

A lovely old pub in the heart of the Chatsworth Estate. We slept brilliantly thanks to a really comfortable bed and we ate well at breakfast and dinner.

The dining rooms and corridors are looking a bit tired and in need of a refresh.

Exceptional - felt like they would cook whatever we asked for

Excellent, friendly service; lovely atmosphere in pub/restaurant; very comfy rooms, beautifully decorated, and a coffee maker/kettle provided with large selection of teas and coffee pods, with fresh milk and a packet of biscuits - a lovely touch. Superb shower room and toiletries were amazing. Bed very comfortable; food was lovely - we had dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Great location for Chatsworth House. It was very quiet, so we slept well.

Very little as such - tv in room seemed pointless as didn't seem to work, but probably no bad thing - meant we were sociable with each other! Only one plug point by bed, which was taken up by bedside lamp - an extension lead would solve this. These were just minor issues that didn't really impact on the stay. The room wasn't huge, and the wardrobe was outside in a lobby, which seemed to be separate to our room, we had to root it out ourselves as it wasn't made clear when shown to the room.
