We stayed her as a family for my mums 90th birthday. This was a total surprise for her and from the phone call on the way to the hotel to say that our rooms were ready to breakfast the next morning everything was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are wonderful and our evening meal at the hotel was delicious. I would like to mention one member of staff that went above and beyond to make our stay the most memorable and that was Dave the manager. Nothing was to much trouble, he was amazing and his kindness in making my mums birthday run so smoothly. Thankyou H Boutique, the staff and especially Dave.

The room was as described and clean. Perfect location right in the centre and yet surprisingly quiet. Straight-forward check-in/check-out. One bathroom maintenance issue which we didn't bother to report when discovered late at night as we were leaving early the next morning but it should have been easily noticed and dealt with in advance. Value for money questionable - twice the price of a similar standard accommodation in another town - but market forces and time of year probably dictate.

This is not the fault of the hotel which does its very best to provide helpful information but the parking situation in Bakewell is diabolical. So many confused people (including us) in the Granby Road car park trying to figure out exactly where to park, having problems with the app, finding out that the free ticket for the first 30 minutes is unobtainable because the machine will not issue it in spite of instructions to the contrary. Also a maximum 4 hour limit even in long stay so you have to pray that you'll have signal on your phone to top up while on a long hike. It would certainly put us off ever returning to Bakewell.

We received a phone call from David days prior to our arrival to verify our reservation and to ask if we had any specific requirements. We were very warmly greeted by David on day of check in and shown to our room. Our room was beautiful - immaculately presented. Very clean and spacious. Very comfy bed!! Bathroom was lovely too with nice toiletries. Excellent location, I don't think we could have got any better! Easy to park nearby despite there not being onsite parking it really was not a problem especially to say Bakewell was very busy. Really pleased would definitely stay again and recommend. We didn't eat at the H Boutique but again it all looked lovely and staff very friendly.

We were only there for one night, which was our issue not the hotels!

We loved the room. The location was great, right in the heart of the town . But still quiet and a pleasure to shop.

Unfortunately your receptionist was very unpleasant and didn't make us feel welcome , she was sully , defensive and not welcoming. This had an effect on both me and my husband as this was a special treat for us both . Your receptionist sadly has let your business down in so many ways her dress sense was laking in the very important essence of a smart welcoming officiant and most importantly a warm welcome . I feel sad for your company as the room was lovely. The complementary breakfast , was explained in a negative and defensive way ,which left us speechless . I am sad to leave such a review , but compeled to say how we felt on the day .

The suite/room was palatial the beds huge and jacuzzi fun Bakewell is a charming place to stay and at night when tourists have gone it is even better!!

The lack of attached / dedicated parking is a nuisance but only on Sun eve /Mondays due the street market (the time we were there) but the quantity of visitors is an issue in the day however by 6 o’clock the crowds have dissipated and moving the car closer to hotel is possible The larger car parks are not council run but private and do not allow overnight use

Overall another really lovely stay. We booked the honeymoon suite. For the price I would have expected dressing gowns to be provided. We found the transition from bath to shower switch very stiff and so there was an element of faffing when having a bath and then wanting to wash hair. Had to switch to the main shower. Which meant moving all the shampoos etc accross the room when wet. Additionally the bulb in the bedside lamp near the window did not work. These were small things and did not hi def our stay at all but were details I wouldn’t expect for the elite price I paid.

Great hotel recently refurbished Massive bed, very comfy, excellent bathroom and the tea/coffee were replenished every day Breakfasts and evening meal were very good and the staff were very friendly and chatty Parking was a bit of a faff as the car park next to the hotel is closed on Monday for the market so we had to park across the river on Sunday night but only a five minute walk Bakewell is a lovely town and we visited Chatsworth House 10 minutes drive up the road

The location was perfect, breakfast was good and reasonable (although not included in price) The Haddon room was very well equipped and comfortable. The staff were very obliging at all times and happy to share information about the area.

if i had to be critical i had hard poached eggs 1 day :) but that was all. Car Parking is off site but is only across the road from the Hotel. Fortunately we read other reviews about the car parking so we already had the app to park and pay by phone and took the advice to get a permit for 3 days for £15 which saved us a lot of hassle and money parking elsewhere.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were all super-friendly and helpful. Lovely, clean spacious room - bed was huge and very comfy. Thank you.

Parking is a bit complicated. But the hotel receptionist really helped. We bought a short stay space for 2 hours to unload, then were able to move to a vacant long stay space, and bought a 3-day rover parking pass even though we were only staying for 1 night. Only a few quid more expensive.
