We arranged a trip to Beamish and this house was perfectly located. Parking outside of the house was very useful. Entry to the house was easy following the instructions given. There was a very helpful information booklet on the room table. The kitchen had sufficient cutlery and crockery for our needs. The rooms were spacious and had the weather not been atrocious, we would have enjoyed the walks along the public footpath. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. I was pleased with the Wi-Fi which enabled us all to log in with sufficient bandwidth for our own use. The heating came on at the times promised and it was possible to adjust the temperature accordingly. My wife and her father enjoyed their stay in this accommodation.

There were only two issues of inconvenience. We realised that there was a dishwasher but for just a couple of cups we prefer to wash up by hand. A tea towel would have been helpful although the paper towelling provided was useful, although not perfect, substitute. The absence of a curtain or blind from the conservatory to the room meant anybody passing to the rear of the house had a full view of the conservatory, part of the 'back room' and anyone sat on the settee in the front room. We were greeted several times by people walking behind the house LOL I would not have hesitated in giving an overall 10 apart from these two issues.

First impressions the house looked nice. A good size of the living space, bedrooms and bathroom and were clean. The beds were Comfortable The kitchen was OK with enough equipment for self catering The free WiFi was good We welcomed having the heating automatically turning on, with the British summer weather 😬 we didn't need to put the log burner on but it was a nice extra. In a good location for visiting Beamish

Looking closer the house was a bit tired, in some areas, the kitchen was ok, but it was very disappointing to find the fridge was dirty, I had to clean it before putting anything in it. The conservatory at the side of the kitchen would of benefited by having blinds. Some of the pictures in the living room were "scary" (my granddaughter's words)

Lovely stay in this end of terrace home. Clean, warm, modern and bright. Comfortable beds and pillows. Kitchen equipped with almost everything you could need. Beautiful views. Loved the bath and light fittings! No issues encountered during our stay. Great communication from host. Will definitely return. Great position for our trip to Beamish Museum.

Outward appearance of fridge freezer looks tatty (works perfectly well though) but spoils the look of the lovely kitchen. Open aspect in conservatory did not allow for much privacy not an issue for us but some may think so.

House was in an ideal location for our stay and planned activities. However I would still consider this house again and travel in for other future visits to the area as it was so homely and accessible to everywhere we wanted. Just was excellent, very communicative and helpful. Each morning and evening we had an extra treat of beautiful Red Kite birds swooping over the amazing fields which made up our uninterrupted views of stunning countryside. We are missing our little bolt hole already!

Nothing about this house and location we didn’t like!

Amazing location, close to Beamish Outdoor Museum (also amazing!) and a short drive from the Metro Centre. House is as described with great beds, plenty of space, nice kitchen and bathroom, great WiFi, beautiful view and a superb host. Plenty of nice walks in the local village and everyone I met was very nice, helpful and kind. (The neighbour even gave my kids a little gift to get themselves an ice cream!) I can't praise it enough and will definitely stay again next time I visit.

Loved the location,we wanted to visit Bemish and was only a few minutes away in the car,loads of room lovely big bath even though we didn't use it ,well equipped kitchen, would definitely recommend and we still want to visit Bemish in the warmer weather next year so we will be having a look to book again,the owner was InTouch before and after we arrived which was good

Just needs a wee bit of a deep clean in the kitchen,the fridge door and the back side of the cupboard handles felt a bit gritty ,just a quick wipe and that would be fine ,not anything else to be negative about

Great fairly peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Very close to Beamish museum and a short commute to lovely towns of Chester le Street and Consett. House was modern. very light and airy with very comfortable beds and a powerful shower and everything you would need to make meals in kitchen. Free wifi a bonus and easy to connect to. We had a great, relaxing break.

Unexpected visitor on stairs. A large spider decided to pay us a visit. It was soon dispatched back outside!!

Very clean. TARDIS (much bigger on the inside). Kitchen very nice with dishwasher. Living room and main bedroom very spacious. Multiple plug sockets. Bathroom had both a bath and a shower. Uber was available and local bus service closeby.

Kitchen was via the conservatory and hadn't got an optional arrival kit for weary travellers. (By the time we arrived the local shop was closed.)

Perfectly situated near to family and great walks with dog very tidy house local shop nice and not far from lots to do. Bed very comfy and bath was welcome after walking

Only thing that I would add is a washing machine we only stayed a couple of nights so wasn’t an issue but if we were staying longer or in the winter where may get caught when out walking in weather would be good to be able to do a load

The house was lovely and welcoming. Good communication from Andy. The house was very comfortable and had pretty much everything you could need. The area was lovely and quiet and there were plenty of shops etc close by. Would definitely stay here again.
