Ah sure, what a grand stay I had at the Grainger Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The double room en-suite was spotless and cosy, with all the comforts a weary traveller could ask for. The location was spot-on, just a stone’s throw from the heart of the city, making it perfect for exploring the vibrant streets and local attractions. 🙂

The staff were nothing short of brilliant – ever so helpful and accommodating. A hearty thanks to the team for making my visit so memorable. I’ll surely be recommending this gem to friends and family, and I wouldn’t think twice about booking in again on my next visit to Newcastle. Cheers for the craic and the comfort 🥰

The room was warm and a portable heater was brought to me in addition to the big heater of the room. Breakfast was not included. The room was neat and clean. Fresh towels and small bottles of water were provided as well as the washing machine and microwave were easily accessible. All facilities were good and the atmosphere of the hotel very quiet and friendly and pleasant. I recommend it to all travellers who want to be near amenities and reside temporarily in their dream hotel. Above all, staff members were courteous, sociable, and helpful; especially the lady administrator, Dimple, who is very outgoing, polite chatter, and very sociable. Wish them all the best careers and more success! At the end of the day, Happy New Year to all of them!

Dated, but clean! Tbh for the rate value it was an acceptable price. The staff were very helpful. Mattress wasnt as comfy as I would have liked! But I still slept, and the sheets were fresh & clean! For my daughter and I, as an overnight stay was more than adequate!

A few minor things, but all were sorted when told..(kettle didn’t work, it was replaced within 10 minutes of me telling them! Tbh fair it was the socket not the kettle. But was sorted. The shower did close properly , we only found out in the morning so nothing could have been done. It certainly wasn’t a complaint more of a ‘letting them know’ good shower pressure, nice and hot.

Booked at the last minute and found it quite comfortable and easy to find and communicable,, the staff was good and the reception remained open 24/7. It's location was near the bus stop and on the busy road surrounded by a lot of takeaways. I liked my stay over there overall

They charge the amount of £10 as a key deposit but return at the time of c/o.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Good location with easy access to public transport and nearby shops. Great value for money compared to other places in the area.

Breakfast was not an option in the hotel. However, many nearby restaurants and takeaways were available. Overall, a pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider coming back!

The location of the hotel was spot on! It was like a mile away from the center, also the bus stand was right outside the hotel which was a plus. Lots of good takeaways around, which is amazing if you're a foodie like me! Complimentary tea/coffee in the room as well. Overall, a pretty good stay for the price I paid!

The only problem was there was some noice occasionally in the corridor when people walked past the room.

There is nothing I can comment on. I was treated so well and made to feel really welcome by the staff. They did everything possible to make me feel welcome

The staff are amazing Alice on reception is so helpful and always smiling and always happy to greet you and check that you are ok.

The location is not too easy to get to maybe it would help by giving the bus numbers as the metro is not very close at all.

The Grainger Hotel offers excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the prime location near the city center was very convenient. We really enjoyed playing a game on the pool table, which added to the fun of our stay. The secure parking was a great bonus. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this hotel and for the price, I found it to be reasonable value. The location was a definite plus, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was convenient to grab a bite to eat or explore the local area on foot. Overall, a decent stay for the price!
