The size of the apartment, well presented, clean, tidy, warm and secure. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. Location was excellent for city centre, park and walk and also for excursions to the beach (Tynemouth and Whitley Bay) only about 10 -15 miles away . Car parking is off road and outside the property. Works really well . Plenty of Places to eat to suit budgets and food requirements .

The outside light on the fire escape (lighting the bedroom) going on and off in the night, maybe blackout curtains would resolve this.

The communication from the owner was excellent. The check-in was easy. Off-street parking is plentiful. The apartment was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is plenty of hot water, an excellent shower, and lots of towels provided. We enjoyed Netflix and the large screen. TV. The remote control needs replacing as it didn't work very well.. Crockery and cutlery were adequate, but I would have liked a sharp knife.

There was no shower gel, shampoo, or soap.provided in the bathroom, just antibacterial hand wash. There were only 3 very small saucepans provided and only one lid. There was no frying pan, which meant we couldn't make a cooked breakfast. No teatowel provided, although there was washing up liquid to use.

It was in an ideal location. Close to shops & local transport. It was cozy. Clean & perfectly formed. Loved the original staircase & the layout ensured the space was accommodated to fit private kitchen, living room, bedroom & bathroom.

The bathroom sink could be bigger. There is space for it. It was difficult to wash face & brush teeth as sink was tiny. Also the wet room aspect was not great as water went everywhere when showering with no way of brushing it down. Had to use towel to mop up water. Maybe a small enclosed shower be better or long handled squeegee supplied. Also drain did have a smell so could do with a thorough clean. No lift to get to top floor so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Good location, quiet street whilst still being close to the city centre. The apartment is spotless and the bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Fully kitted out kitchen which was ideal having a toddler with us. Would definitely use this apartment again

Requested a cot for our 2 year old which was provided and set up on arrival. There was no mattress however so I had to go and buy one for our stay. The hairdryer wasn't working which was only a minor inconvenience. The description states there's 6 car parking spaces at the front of the building however 2 of them are Infront of an office that has "no parking" signs posted.

Good location close to town and on bus routes. Clean and felt secure. Tidy bathroom with good shower.

Heating system not as described. Instructions said to simply adjust thermostat in living room and all would work automatically. This was not the case - separate electric heaters in bedroom and living room which had several buttons to press and no instructions. Heating therefore unreliable. Also TV had no instructions - I could only get I player to work.

The Accommodation was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The flexibility to enter after hours was great. It's so quite, given its adjacent to a main road. It's 30 minute walk to Centre of Town and train station. There is a bus service you can take on return back to accommodation as it's a slow steady uphill climb. It all depends on the weather and what you like to do. Close to affordable takeout or dine in. Very prompt response when raising a potential issue.

We raised a maintenance issue and received a prompt response. My concern is that when maintenance issues are not reported or noticed by cleaning staff or previous tenants, then how does it get fixed. There was no information in the accommodation about heating. Which may be beneficial to travellers who do not understand how to use radiators.

Good location, 30 minute walk to the city, parking right outside the door, clean and tidy, well presented apartment. The late night door service was much appreciated especially as we arrived much later than expected due to the clocks changing, was nice to be greeted by the night porter as soon as we arrived to the door.

Nothing really, was warm and comfortable, slept well. A useful addition would have been a hand shower attachment but that’s all.

The property is beautiful. Very clean and modern, very comfortable. A really lovely place to stay. Comfortable sofa with TV, comfortable bed, kitchen and dining table and a nice bathroom with a very good shower.

The apartment was a little far out from Newcastle centre. It was about a 25 min walk or a short bus trip. The kitchen could also do with a few more items in it. The chopping knife is flimsy and I'd say really needs replacing. There was also no frying pan. Anyone visiting who's planning on making a home cooked meal probably needs to pack their own equipment, however to make basic oven food, everything is available.

Great value for money, not far from Newcastle centre. Modern look with great facilities, we were up for our daughter’s graduation and stayed 2 nights. Straight forward check in and great communication from Bentinck Apartments made things very easy. Great shower by the way.

Just a couple of small things, no shampoo or shower gel in the bottles in the shower. Mattress was too firm, no give in it at all.

We only stayed 1 night but would happily stay longer and return. The welcome was friendly and checkin made easy, and the apartment itself spotless and spacious. There was some little cosmetic bits but nothing that took away from the large rooms, huge and comfortable beds and having everything you need. Location is great too - close to the city and also the Metrocentre if that’s of interest. Having parking at location was a real plus too. Loved our stay and would be first choice if returning.
