We loved staying at Bootmenders! Thank you, Jenna, for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful cottage and for providing the most delicious breakfast, especially the hot cross buns for Easter! Bootmenders was exactly as we had hoped it would be - a homely, cozy cottage surrounded by a lovely winter’s garden. The main room was warm, the bed was very comfortable and the little kitchen was well appointed for preparing our breakfast.

Nothing. We would stay again - especially, in the summer, when we could really explore the garden and do some of the local walks.

Everything was wonderful - the location was close to a local town with everything you could need within a ten minute drive, but the cottage itself was remote enough to be perfectly quiet and relaxing. It's beautiful little cottage, in the stunning gardens of a lovely house and all the facilities were great. The breakfast was more than plenty, and the host was friendly and welcoming without ever being overbearing.

The cottage is small but comfortable. But with a garden like that, there is no need for a large indoor sitting area. The woods behind the garden are just amazing. Could spend there the entire day and watch the squirrels squirreling, or deerspotting in the evening.

The only thing I can think of is that we missed a langer spoon to serve some soup.

Excellent breakfast provisions. Fab dishwasher. Cosy feel to the property. Comfy beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Car parking.

all good but timer was off on bathroom heating but landlady helped us to rectify it. Couldn't find wifi code for the first day so would be good if there was a card on the table telling guests what the code is.

Breakfast was provided in the room and was lovely. It was discussed in advance with the hosts and was flexible based on our likes and dislikes. The rooms were lovely and clean, a fan was provided, the setting is absolutely stunning.

The location very peaceful and quiet the beautiful garden and the woods at the end. The cottage itself catered for all our needs (love the chaise loungue) the large bed and quality bed linen.The cottage has twin beds upstairs to cater for familys. The kitchenette area had everything you require (no oven no big deal) the induction hob nice and easy to use .A kettle, toaster and microwave provided along with utensils ect. Breakfast ingredients supplied and of high quality. My husband had no trouble cooking on the hob (first time using induction) the dishwasher nice thought and saved time. The bathroom a good size complete with bath robes and towels. Very nice shower roomy with a rainfall shower head good pressure. Hair products supplied for washing your hair. The cottage also has a table and two very comfortable queen anne style chairs and wall mounted tv. Wifi on site and outdoor seating area complete with canopy overlooking the garden. This area is popular for walks of various degrees but we used the cottage as a base to go visit other areas such as petersfield town and birdworld being only a half hour drive away. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back. Thankyou to the lovely lady host who was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! 😍

The mattress on bed too soft for our liking apprieciate this is personnal preference and that the mattress is totally adequate having said we did sleep very well.

Being surrounded by fields and woodland, it was cosy, quiet, and very relaxing. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be staying again.

Nothing, it was perfect.

We felt really welcomed by owners of property. The cottage was extremly clean and smelt lovely. All the beds were very comfortable The view from the cottage was stunning . Views of the garden and surrounding fields were beautiful, very quiet and tranquil. Would definitely pay a return visit.

Be prepared that although the cottage sleeps up to 4 people it's a very small space with double bed in the living area. We were lucky that we had beautiful weather and sat in the garden area. We went with out 2 older kids and a dog. Next time will return just the 2 of us.

Location was stunning. Jenna, our host was really helpful, giving areas to visit and making sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is so lovely.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Good breakfast ingredients provided. Quiet rural location. Convenient for some great scenery and attractions. Jenna was very helpful.
