We were to be allocated a special room for dog owners (with less chance of disturbing other guests). We were told there was a plumbing problem, so we were accommodated in the main hotel. That worked smoothly. We didn't meet any other guests, so perhaps there weren't any. I paid the expected £12.50 fee for the dog. I had forgotten our breakfast was included in the main price. That was a bonus.
The light on the quite steep stairs was broken, so a bit dodgy. Like so many places these days, there seemed to be no toilet brush. I don't see why a maid has to clean up my mess!

Amazing stay at the flying bull inn. Room clean, beds comfortable, tea and coffee in the room. Dogs welcome, and ours was made to feel right at home. The staff were lovely and friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend booking a stay here if you want to stay in comfort and enjoy good food/drink. We enjoyed some lovely nature walks close to the hotel, so perfect for a get away from the daily grind without the need to drive anywhere for a couple of days.

The room was very comfortable and clean... well presented. A good shower, and plenty of hot water. We had dinner on the evening of our stay, and it was excellent. Good food, well presented, and the staff were first class... very friendly and attentive to our every need.
We were a little disappointed with breakfast the next morning. It didn't match the meal we had the previous evening. The selection of breakfast cereals was poor, and some fresh fruit to have with yoghurt would have been nice. The cooked breakfast was presented well, but was a little under-cooked. Once again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We was 5 adults and were there for a wedding. We was attending not far from this location. Very beautiful location, lots of lovely walks near by. Two of the five partners of me and my sons had dinner before joining us at the reception only, which they said was exceptionally good. My partner said the gravy was almost as good as his lol! Rooms very clean and well kept. Home made cookies a very nice touch. Breakfast very good. Owner really nice guy. Very friendly and accommodating. Me and my partner are considering booking a night away just to get away from it for a night here. Exceptional stay for the money we paid.
Not really a dislike but would have been good to be able to arrive an hour earlier than they open their doors.

This is a delightful pub in Rake, Liss. We stayed overnight and had dinner and breakfast. Staying in an ensuite double room. The room was clean, comfy and had all the facilities required. It was pie night in the bar and restaurant. There was a great choice of meals and the pies were fantastic. The pies we had were full of filling and delicious. There were other non pie options. Breakfast was great and was cooked fresh for each customer. Really great place to stay and excellent value.

Nice helpful staff, good food, breakfast exceptional - full English and buffet. We had the disabled room, which was very well fitted. The bathroom was amazing. Parking was very good as we were able to park right outside our room.
We felt the room could have done with a deep clean as it did smell a bit doggie (maybe a guide dog had been in room as it was a disabled room) and the carpet was stained in places.

Found this place at the last minute (literally lunch time the same day I needed a place that night) found it was only 7 mins from my job and the price was extremely reasonable especially with breakfast included. I arrived at 10pm when they were closing but was met with a very friendly woman who made me feel at home right away and was soon in my room where I could relax after a long drive. The room was lovely with all the essentials you'd need and I had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was at 08:30 which was perfect for me and the chap who greated me was also extremely friendly and couldn't have done more for me. I was served a full jug of coffee as well as an OJ with a Full English that was cooked for perfection that set me up for the day. I honestly couldn't ask for more and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. I'll be back as I will have more work in that area coming up.
I honestly have nothing bad to say, just exceptional.

The breakfast was good and freshly prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive and the building is characterful. The car park is not very big but I was able to park each night, despite some commercial vans being there. The pub apparently has quite a lot of craftsmen staying. The hot water supply was fine (this is always a good test of a B&B!) and basic toiletries are provided, together with complimentary mineral water. The road is relatively busy but I had a room on the back of the building so was able to sleep well.
Nothing to complain about. I will stay there again if I'm in the area as it's very good value.

Very pleasant stay for our team at the inn, no complaints from any of the lads, which is always a bonus! If we are working within the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Worth the money you pay ten fold. There's a lot worse for a lot more money on here, so, to find this for such a good price was a hidden gem to say the least. Thank you from all the team at Poly UP. PS: The biscuits are un-real!
No dislikes.

Full English Breakfast is very good, although everything should be so pre-ordered and paid at check-in time. We enjoyed the breakfast itself, with selectable items choose from before the hot plate ready, we like the self-toasted grainary bread. They provide thr pub lunch and dinner menu, flied sea food is quite nice. And spacious bed room and large bath tub heals make us very much.
