Lovely traditional pub, no problem parking onsite. Had an evening meal whilst there and the food was very nice and great value for money. Staff nice and friendly. The rear of the pub has a large covered area with a tv and heaters and whilst there had the pleasure to meet the owner (sorry but I’m rubbish with remembering names) a very nice person he was. Weather was a cold and miserable but my room was nice & warm. A good size twin room with immediate access to an outside area. Room had a good size tv and tea and coffee tray. Really good value for money if you’re after a no frills stay, comfortable atmosphere, I will be booking again for a return stay when I’m next in the area.

The Welsh breakfast provided was excellent and set me up well for the day ahead. I found the hosts, Gordon and Marilyn very welcoming, friendly and efficient, as were all of the staff I encountered. The accommodation benefits from an excellent and reasonably-priced bar and restaurant, providing quality evening meals. The location is set in a quiet village, Meliden, which neighbours Prestatyn. Be aware that the accommodation is some thirty minutes` walk from the centre of Prestatyn - useful to know if you are walking the Offa`s Dyke or Wales Coast Path; however, it is on a frequently-serviced bus route that radiates out of the town.

breakfast as good as any i have had ion holidays. excellent and cooked fresh. Big breakfast i would call it AS it was a pub and north wales i had to bang on the door seversl times to get in that was the only draw back. It is a little out of prestatatyn though. Big car park. the pub did not have any tvs as u might expect. u have to find your own entertainment at night. ryll was good for the slots.

Warm, comfortable, clean. A little jaded, but it's an old pub. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was way up there! The owners were a delight!

No view from the window, but it really didn't matter to us as we slept, showered, ate the wonderful breakfast then spent the day elsewhere. I would say it wasn't something I 'didn't like' but worth a mention if a room with a view is important to an individuals expectations.

This was a lovely bed-and-breakfast in a charming village. The restaurant and inn were awesome; very convenient and tasty. Breakfast was included with the room, and it was freshly cooked to order by the charming proprietors. THe entire staff were just lovely: very welcoming and accommodating.

The temperature in the room was extremely warm, and we couldn't figure out how to adjust it; but speaking with the manager helped.

Convenient location near Prestatyn with a good car park; Pleasant spacious room with desk and sitting area; Good shower room and ample provision for tea-&-coffee. The breakfast was excellent, served with real care and attention to detail by very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a most enjoyable few days and I look forward to returning in the future. There were a few problems with the internet connection, which is important for guests. Otherwise, everything was well provided.

A gorgeous little pub with little rooms round the back, very private! The room was compact and cosy, furniture a little dated but it’s lovely regardless. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even when we had a couple of questions they made sure they were dealt with straight away. The brekafast in the morning was beautiful. A lovely little stay.

It was excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful, room was comfy & had all necessities. The food was outstanding both evening meal I chose & the breakfast. They were very flexible on the checkout times. Would I stay there again - absolutely!

Toilet rolls missing but no big deal as could have asked for them easily but had box of tissues so for me not an issue. The extractor fan is a bit noisy & could be heard next door Room. Didn’t affect me, but may have anyone next door when I got up in early hours for the loo! However, for the money you pay for the room including breakfast, you certainly cannot complain!

Food was ace and staff were amazing. Room was sound, cleanliness wasn't great but when I found out the lovely old couple that ran the place were doing it alone I was very forgiving. Great time in the bar with locals and staff, was actually gutted we didn't get back to the bar on the Saturday as we ended up passing out

Another enjoyable one-night stay near Prestatyn; Comfortable room with good provision for tea-&-coffee; Convenient car park and tidy bathroom with efficient shower; Excellent breakfast very well served and with good choice.

It is disappointing that there is no internet connection in the room as this can be inconvenient when away from home; Otherwise everything was fine and good value.
