The lodges were beautifully appointed at the bottom of the garden with access to the lodge via the side of the house leaving our hosts undisturbed and you are free to come and go as you please parking at the front was excellent we travelled by bike and we felt very secure as this is a very nice area . Mark and Jan are very friendly and accommodating, plenty of local knowledge and experience . This is very well placed for many different areas to travel to , although we were visiting locally in Liverpool , north wales , Chester and many other places are easily accessible

Nothing to dislike about this place

Mark was there to welcome us when we arrived, offered to help with bags and showed us our room. We stayed in the lodge on the left hand side. Great size room and shower room, high ceiling too! We only stay in places with a king size bed, which this had, and it was very comfortable! The garden setting is lovely and very peaceful, we heard no noise in the morning other than birds chirping. The path to the lodge has motion-sensor lights at night, but we were also glad to have the torch which was thoughtfully provided. The breakfast room is nicely set up, we had our own table and enjoyed the background music! Great quality cooked breakfast, always served promptly. Mark is a great, easygoing host. We definitely hope to stay again when we are in the area!

Shower could do with being a bit stronger, even though we adjusted the spray to the more powerful setting. Perhaps a reminder on the welcome sheet about how to turn on towel rail etc. would be helpful. Wasn't sure how to operate thermostat outside bathroom either, but we were glad to have the portable heater on a chilly night.

Manor Garden Lodge was a great place to stay while we were attending a wedding anniversary function in Liverpool. Mark was an excellent host who made us feel really at home and welcome. The location is brilliant, at the bottom of a pretty garden where you could sit out - it must be lovely in the summer. There is a gastropub just minutes away on foot, and the fact that the bus stop is just round the corner is a great bonus, as we caught the bus right into the centre of Liverpool. There is a separate entrance to the accommodation so we didn’t feel as if we were intruding on our hosts’ privacy in the main house. The breakfast of eggs and bacon was beautifully cooked and the coffee was excellent. Thank you Mark!

Absolutely nothing. Perhaps a few nuts and seeds to go with the cereal would be nice.

We stayed here as we were attending a birthday celebration locally so the location was perfect for us. The lodge is set in a lovely garden which was very peaceful. It had everything we need for a short stay and we slept very well in the comfortable bed. We were able to come and go as we pleased. The breakfast was very good, quality ingredients cooked well. The sausages were particularly good. Mark was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like as such. There’s only one thing I would add and that’s brighter lighting above the bathroom mirror or a touch mirror that lights up to make shaving/applying make up easier.

Fabulous B&B. A lovely cabin at the end of a pretty garden. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Good shower and comfortable bed. Mark the host was very welcoming and made a great breakfast! This is in a perfect location - less then a minute to a fab pub - we had a great roast. There's also a fab Indian a 2 minute walk away. The bus stop is also a minute away which takes you direct to Liverpool city centre and the beach is only a couple of miles away. We would happily stay here again.

We were made to feel very welcome by Mark and Jan, there was plenty of information about local restaurants, walks around the village and tourist attractions. The accommodation is A1, I particularly enjoyed using the patio area in the peaceful garden. The home cooked breakfasts were excellent . We would definitely recommend staying there.

There was nothing to dislike about the property.

Mark and Jan were perfect hosts. Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and well cooked. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect location with bus stops a few metres away enabling travel around the Wirral without having to drive. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

The weather was cold but we can't blame Mark and Jan for that! At least it was dry.

We didnt always have breakfast but we could have had anything we wanted . The lodge had everything we needed. and spotless. A nice quiet location at the bottom of the main property garden. Chairs outside to sit in the lovely garden The hosts were very friendly and always stopped to chat as we passed. Nothing was too much trouble . There were no restriction on coming and going which was perfect

Everything was lovely, The only slight issue we had was , we hadnt realized that there were number of steps and uneven ground from the main house to the lodge,. As one of the party was 88 and not too good on her legs , she did find it difficult , but we hadnt discussed this or put any requests in concerning mobility but thought it worth mentioning for other travelers to be aware.

Recently stayed for two nights. A absolutely lovely place to stay. Totally surprised with the room when I opened the door. Only a short distance from the city and a great price. Mark the owner is a lovely man, absolute gentleman , always making sure we were alright. Will definitely come back when travelling over.

The host Mark was helpful and friendly. Standard choice of breakfast the cooked one being excellent. The room was a good size very comfortable bed spotless ensuite. Kettle and crockery restocked every day with tea coffee and biscuits. Parking available off the road. The host had thought of everything to make the stay a home from home.
