The room was modern. Had plenty of power sockets, several with USB plugs as well. Great location for travel as I could see the hotel from Strood train station. The bathroom had a nice big shower compartment, most hotels I have stayed in have showers that feel like a glass coffin. I had plenty of space to dodge out the way as the water heated up. The shower also worked and was in good condition. Staff were very attentive and provided a fan to help with the heat.

No air conditioning, but I could open the window and an electric fan was provided. I had to assist another guest in finding the breakfast area as it was not well signposted. It didn't effect me directly as I prefer to go out for breakfast.

When I got there I was early they let me come in and wait or I could of just left my bags there, when I got my room key I was pleasantly surprised it had everything you need even a fan and for this weather was needed the tv had Netflix so you always had something to watch where most hotels have a tv with nothing much to watch. And also I loved the fact that because I was out all day and they couldn't do my room.they came round later that evening to see if I needed any clean towels or any tea coffee or milk or if I had any rubbish to take. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning .

Excellent stay at Trivelles Rochester. The owner/manager, Bhatti could not do enough for us. He constantly asked if we needed extra towels, tea/coffee and water. The room was spotlessly clean. Hotel does not have parking (this was made clear when we booked) but if you're lucky there is on-street parking, if not, the car park is only a two minute walk away and has reasonable daily rates. Strood station is a 4 minute walk away and a 20 minute stroll gets you in the heart of Rochester. Would definitely recommend Trivelles

10 minutes drive from Chatham docks, close to local supermarket, you can order food to the hotel and they have fridge and microwave. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best

It was clear both rooms have been maintained to a very high standard. The bathroom had high quality aqua panels, so more hygienic that grout and tiles. We booked two rooms at short notice after a different hotel let us down The friendly staff arranged for us to be accommodated on the same floor, which enabled 3 generations to socialise between the two rooms with ease. Both rooms had plenty of plug and USB sockets to keep all the electronic devices charged. Although we drove by car, the hotel is ideally situated close to the train station.making it an ideal choice for those travelling by public transport.

Location good opposite Strood station and not far to walk to town. Easy check in staff friendly. Room nicely presented, on the small side but adequate for 3 family members for an overnight stay, tea/coffee facilities, adequate towels etc, room warm but a fan is provided. Beds very comfortable. Good continental breakfast, coffee and assorted teas ,cereals, juice, yogurt, toast, jam etc, pastries muffins also with an option of porridge or egg on toast. Friendly staff member to assist. Easy check out.

Bathroom was new and well presented but not really suited for elderly/disabled guests, we were unable to use the bath or the shower over the bath as it was too high to climb into and no grab rails for safety. Also no plug to fill the sink either. The breakfast room was also below stairs so found that difficult but did manage ok. Could do with a bit of background music in the breakfast room but that is just our personal preference.

My favourite hotel in this area / town. Location is good as it is right opposite a main Train Station. Hotel staff are always very warm and welcoming. Staff are around until late hours, but contactable on an emergency phone number, in out of hours if needed. Hotel is very nice, modern and up to date. Always have a good night stay, beds are very comfortable and always clean.

Hotel is very modern and clean. However, a few small touch up's would be good. Small black marks on walls and skirting boards but isn't a big issue or affects the stay, would just make the appearance look better.

Room was spacious on the top floor. Temperature was perfect. Bed comfortable and pillows were good. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room and more if needed just down the passage. Shower and toilet clean and tidy

Had to wait a while at check in as receptionist dealt with technical issue. I thought that could have been dealt with after I'd been checked in. Upon arriving at my room, it was still being cleaned so had to wait for that too, but they were friendly and apologetic all the way through. Website led me to believe there was parking available. It's on street parking on first come basis. Fortunately I was able to get a spot

We were delighted to find that there was indeed a reasonably priced carpark with ample parking right behind our hotel. We were further delighted by the warm welcome that we received from Muhammad on reception. He truly could not have been nicer and more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was fresh and bright and our room was exactly as pictured in the information online. The beds were firm and the bathroom was a really good size and equipped with a roomy shower and miniature toiletries. We were also spoilt by the lovely gentleman who came to change the towels and top up the tea and coffee supplies in our our room. The television picture was a little erratic, we wondered if it was being affected by the train line across the road, but we were able to log into our netflix account directly on the tv and from that point on the picture quality was perfect. All it all, we found the Trivelles Hotel to be a true oasis of care and calm in Strood. We are unlikely to visit Strood again, however, if we did, we would 100% choose Trivelles Hotel as our place to stay.

We were welcomed by a member of staff.After the usual checkin procedure we went to our first floor room.It was a small comfortable very clean room.We had a fan which was really good as it was quite warm in the hotel. We had a comfortable night with no noise at all.We didn't hear the trains as we were at the other side of the hotel.The breakfast was fine,basic with cereals etc.

The location was quite far from any restaurants etc.This is not a problem normally but my husband is unable to walk far.We got a cab across the bridge to the Cathedral in the morning.
