We had a great overnight stay at Holiday Inn as a family of three. While check-in was a bit slow due to a temporary system issue, the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They even gave our daughter a little goodie bag and left soft drinks on our bed for her, which was a lovely gesture. Our room was spacious, clean, and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The hotel is actually quite large, so it’s worth requesting a room closer to the front if you don’t want to walk far, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel offered all the necessary amenities for a convenient and relaxing stay. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would happily stay here again.

The breakfast was good, the staff nice, and they were very accommodating in providing a fridge in the room when I said I needed one to store baby food and breast milk, heating worked fine

They’ve put the family rooms at the back end of the hotel and to get to the rooms you need to go up and down a flight of stairs. They’ve put a demographic who would be lugging around more suitcases and heavy prams to a place more difficult to get to. We had to carry our pram up and down every time we left the room. When we asked for a different room we got told it was where the family rooms are and there was nothing we could do. Fair enough that the bigger, family rooms are there but at least make it more accessible. Have a ramp or something. Steam room and jacuzzi not working and nowhere in the hotel info when booking was this made known

The staff were all wonderful, so friendly and made our experience so much better. A big thanks to Bali in the restaurant who brought my little boy a birthday brownie and candle and sung happy birthday to him which was a really lovely touch. He was also left with a little treat package on his sofa-bed when he arrived which was a great thought. Everything in the hotel was really clean, the swimming pool was brilliant for the family and was great after the long drive. The room was nicer than I expected, and we were really pleasantly surprised with the food in the restaurant. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh, with lots of selection and the dinner menu was fantastic. So pleased we stayed here and will be back again!

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Diggerland (11 mins drive) and Chatham Docks (17 mins drive). It was spot on for a family trip - two adults and a five year old. We stayed in a premier room which was comfortable and very quiet. We had a breakfast and dinner package (very good value booked 3+ months ahead), and the breakfast was superb. A good choice at dinner too with some flexibility to order from the main menu. We used the pool once and really enjoyed it - it was quiet (at 8am) and warm. The hotel staff were all very welcoming. A special mention to Michelle in the restaurant who was friendly and super helpful. Our son was given an Easter goodie bag on arrival and had an Easter egg and Fruit Shoot on his bed, which he was delighted with. A lovely touch, thank you. We had a great stay - our first time at a Holiday Inn and we'd definitely return.

Overall the hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was clean but on closer inspection the bathroom did have a little mould and limescale build up. Superficially it was clean (and certainly fine to use), but because of the fast turnaround of rooms, it doesn't appear to get a really deep clean around the shower. There wasn't an extractor in the bathroom which could make a difference?

Value for money chain hotel, with facilities that meet the expectation. Check in took a bit longer, but they were kind enough to combine the 2 reservations that I made for the consecutive nights into one and the same room, so we did not have to change rooms after the first night. Plenty of parking spots, the hotel is conveniently located just off the M2 at 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Chatham. Breakfast buffet was well sorted.

The hotel looked a bit dated, especially on the outside. The sink in our bathroom did not drain very enthusiastically. The rooms on the street side can be a bit noisy due to traffic. Even though the hotel has a lift, there are a couple of steps directly after the main entrance. No safe in the room.

When we booked in they gave us a very small double room. We slept there the first night but found it very hot and and small so went to reception and asked to be moved. A lovely young lady names Siobhan said she would try and find us another room. We went and had breakfast and went back to see her and she had found us a lovely large room. She was very helpful. I asked to have some softer pillows and the housekeep bought them straight away. We eat in the restaurant one evening and the food was very nice. We can't fault the staff or the cleanliness. Nothing was to mush trouble. We stayed here many years ago and it really has improved 100 %. We will differently stay here again. Well done

Breakfast had plenty of gluten-free choices … cereals, bread, sausages and everything else which is normally gluten-free. The pool was nice and warm. Staff were very friendly and polite.

The dinner, bed and breakfast deal had a special limited menu which didn’t have much choice for gluten-free (no desserts) but the chef was willing to provide things from the main menu instead. The sauna and steam room were both out of action, which was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel 🙁 The bed was too soft and wobbly. The traffic noise from the road outside was too loud to open the window and the air conditioning didn’t work very well, so it was hot in the room.

The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and went to every effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay, particularly Jonny. The stay was exactly what I would expect from a Holiday Inn, and they provide consistency with each stay. Our room was quiet and the bed comfortable and you get good value for money. The pool is also fab. The hotel is very pet friendly. Ive stayed here previously and I would come back again.

There was some aspects of the room that could have been cleaner with some grubby walls and skirting.

Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. They were accommodating to change our room to one closer to the lift because the allocated ground floor room was too long a walk for my 86 year old aunt. Cleaners paid attention to detail and full of smiles. Breakfast - good range and was yummy! The hotel was well presented and had a great ambience. The location felt safe, and parking was a bonus along with walking distance access to some shops and a gym. Short drive or Uber trip to explore the sights of Rochester. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, and I'll be back.

Due to the room change, we got a room that faced the road and buildings. Not as quiet as I would have preferred it. Nonetheless, it worked for the short time we spent there.

Wow 10/10 hotel, from the friendly kind staff such as lisa and Sophie (and many more) to the comfy room, to the lovely pool we cannot fault our stay. Room - the room is cozy, warm with a lovely mattress and pillow. The attention to detail is amazing, the hairdryers are great, shower pressure is perfect and lovely coffees. The staff went above and beyond and decorated the room for my partners birthday, it was amazing Food- the dinner was fantastic with lovely lisa being our server, we feel full from that delightful set menu Facilities - fantastic pool and sauna, there is also a gym you can use! It was heated and a good size, the sauna was fantastic Staff- they will go above and beyond for you and support you in anyway they can from bringing ice to the room, to just a lovely chat We are here now and again I can’t fault our stay, fantastic, made my partners birthday a special one🩷

The buffet breakfast would probably have been better if we went a little bit earlier! But it was still tasty
