A flawless location close to everything you need. The hosts, warm and welcoming, made us feel like cherished guests. The property is masterpiece, stunning and immaculate. Although we were close to all amenities, it was very quiet, we could hear only a little bit of rain during night time and the birds chirping in the morning - absolutely stunning. It was like slipping into a dream. The back garden looks like a botanical garden at a small scale. Breakfast was more than enough, with some variety added every day. Thank you John and Ginny

An exceptional B&B.The bedroom was at the back of the property overlooking the garden which is one of the best and well kept gardens I have seen in a long time.The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious.The continental breakfast was excellent withh different changes every day.John and Ginny were lovely people and nothing was too much trouble.We will definitely stay there again when we go back to the Isle of Wight.

There was only one thing and that was having to reverse the car onto the parking area from the main rd and then to get back onto the main rd when going out.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at chine side. Everything was just perfect, amazing hosts, yummy breakfast, beautiful comfortable bedroom with ensuite looking over the most beautiful garden😍 chine side is about a 2 minute walk to old shanklin village. Would highly recommend this B&B which is more like a boutique hotel to everyone its defo 5 stars from us ☆☆☆☆☆ we will definitely be returning when we are holidaying in the Isle of wight 💞 Thankyou for an amazing stay Debbie & Kevin.

Absolutely nothing

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and taken straight to our room which was exceptionally clean and spacious. The room looked exactly like it did in the photos. The place has this calm and relaxing vibe about it. The garden was quite big and spectacular. Our breakfast setup was really beautiful and even a bit romantic as John the owner had a lovely instrumental playlist running in the background. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked for longer.

Amazing B&B. Stunning house in a great location in Shanklin village. It had a feel of a boutique hotel more than a guest house. Kept spotlessly clean by the owners. Little added extras of lovely soaps & sweet smelling diffuser in the room was appreciated. The continental breakfast was delicious with different fresh fruit /yoghurt each day. Great central location to Shanklin old village , literally a five min walk to the Chines, pubs and restaurants. The property was immaculate, room one was large with plenty of space for belongings and a great shower. Super buffet style breakfasts, something slightly different each day made a change from fried breakfasts every morning. Tea, coffee, biscuits water replenished every day. Friendly relaxed hosts that just let you get on with things.

Just have to take care when pulling out of the drive as hard to see the on coming vehicles coming round the corner but soon get use to it ! Advisable to reverse in.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of old Shanklin town and within easy reach of all amenities. The breakfast, continental style, suited us perfectly and was both ample and very tasty. Our hosts, John and Ginny, were perfect as they were available if you needed them but otherwise left us to our own devises.

There was nothing we could fault.

Our two nights at Chine Side were exceptional. The rooms were spotless, comforting, beautifully furnished and included everything you would need for an extremely comfortable stay. Excellent shower, super comfy bed, bone china cups, wonderfully laid out breakfast. We felt extremely grateful to have found such a peaceful haven to return to after a weekend of family wedding celebrations.

I liked everything! I stayed in room 1. Room was a very generous size. Bathroom was a very generous size. Everything was very clean. Bed was comfy.. Massive wardrobes to hang clothes, store bags if your there for a long time and want it out the way Would highly recommend!

Tiny little niggle, one less chair in the bedroom and a little table or side of some sort to have a bit more room to put some bits in the bedroom. And a little something in the bathroom to put a wash bag on.. But it's a tiny niggle and wouldn't stop me staying there again!

The breakfast was lovely, but it would have been even more tip top if a cooked breakfast was offered. The room was beautifully clean, tasteful and had a beautiful view of the garden. I was also impressed with the room being cleaned daily. The owners were helpful and efficient. The host made way for our bikes behind the gate and gave us a cover if needed. They also offered a discount on the car ferry which was very helpful indeed. All in all a really wonderful place to stay.

I would only suggest that a cooked breakfast if people wanted.
