Old building but v well maintained, furnished & decorated. Comfortable bed, controllable central heating radiator in room, opening window for fresh air, electric shower cubicle so always hot water, spotlessly clean & refreshed daily. Staff amazing & seemed genuinely friendly & interested in their guests’ experience. Timed breakfast a little regimented but maximises kitchen efficiency, probably helps to keep costs down & ensures everyone ready for full-day coach trip (their main business) Evening entertainment seemed well attended & good standard but we only needed b&b. Tasty breakfast.

Phone & wifi signal always intermittently poor in this part of Sandown. Bayshore better than another we stayed at before.

The location was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly.

Our mattress was very hard We wanted to book for next year but was informed that no dates had been released and coach parties had priority.

We 2 adult and 1 child stay a night. It was amazing with sea front view. Room was so good and clean.bathroom was clean. Good size. Nice breakfast in the morning. Staff were so professional and friendly. I stay at another places also. I will say who ever booking this hotel best when I compare with other places.

Breakfast not in order, like we were wait a bit longer. I can’t blame much but because of busy morning lot of people having breakfast they may can arrange better way who ever room with with breakfast some certain table already need to be allocated may be can avoid to wait too long in future

View from bedroom window could hear and see the sea. Very close to the beach. Lifts to different floors. Poole table. Good options for breakfast. Room very spacious with table and chair by window. Good facilities are available in the bedroom such as kettle, cups and hairdryer.

No air conditioning but there was a fan which was used in the evenings as it gets quite warm in the room.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with a good selection of choices, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located well for the beach and is right opposite the pier. Rooms are a nice size and the sea views were lovely.

The beds were very hard but that obviously can’t be helped. I didn’t like that the cleaning staff try to enter rooms despite ‘do not disturb’ signs hung on the door and did make reception staff aware of this. Parking on the seafront can be very expensive so best to factor this into the cost of your trip.

breakfast was great , a lot more breakfast than i expected ,certainly enough to keep our energy levels up till dinner time , was also tasty , with extra toast if we requested it

only gripe was the window , serious lack of airflow , room was really hot and we opened the room door to try and cool the room off a little , really could of done with a fan in the room

The staff were superb and very accommodating.

To be fair, it is a good hotel. Nothing that would constitute a complaint or not like. It was good.
