Just an excellent stay in every way

The whole place is totally lovely

Nothing disliked

Lovely efficient , friendly Staff. Nice big room with comfy king-size bed. Good shower. Great breakfast served in the courtyard garden, conservatory or restaurant, your choice! Free on street parking permit provided. Plenty of parking spaces in Malvern road right behind the hotel.

Minor details, but shower gel in the bathroom was empty for our 2 night stay. (We had our own anyway!) No fridge in the room.

This was our second stay, I love how the rooms are individually decorated with beautiful wallpaper, even the entrance and staircase are stunning. Lovely and clean, good selection of drinks, staff are so friendly and welcoming and breakfast has so much choice and is outstanding.

Only problem we had was being in the loft room on a very warm day it was very hot in the room all night, could do with a fan.

A Southsea hidden gem. Friendly welcome by staff. Beautiful boutique en suite room with a very comfy bed. Delicious fresh breakfast. Very clean and ideal location for exploring & walking.

No complaints. Only small thing was the floor was a little slippy after showers, it seemed to take a long time to dry off. Shower was great as was everything else.

Staff were fantastic and catered to everyone's needs (overheard restaurant call where the staff went above and beyond for 'breakfast' room service!) Breakfast was amazing and my wife and I chose different options on both days and 100% truly satisfied, amazing... Will visit again

Parking

The staff were lovely. We were upgraded to the suite at no extra charge as the room was free on our night and it was our anniversary. The bath was huge in the room. Hot water. The decor in the room was lovely.

I’d say dogs barking in the other room. It’s dog friendly so it’s expected! But we kept getting woken up by the dog.

Separate houses with quirky themed room. Great position 1 road back from sea front at Southsea. Didn’t eat in restaurant or pub there but looked a good atmosphere. Easy to walk to restaurants in Southsea or Portsmouth.

Parking was with permit on road but if you had mobility issues I think there were some reserved parking spaces at the various properties.

Our twin room was beautiful, and the bathroom excellent. I loved the setting in a sweet quiet road, near the seafront. The cocktail bar was good. Sitting outside in the sun was peaceful and pleasant.mStaff were very accommodating.

The white van parked in front of the entrance wasn’t a good look.

We particularly appreciated the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. The room was well-presented and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was made from good quality ingredients and was served in a very attractive room. The hotel is very handy for the ferry and we would certainly stay here again.
