This is a fantastic location the accommodation exceeded our expectations, A great place to stay for some peace and quiet a real gem. The hosts were lovely we were greeted and shown around the accommodation our stay was for 5 nights we had a cooked breakfast most days with fresh ingredients like the fresh strawberries picked from the garden and eggs from the chickens on the farm. The garden was looking beautiful and you can see the love and attention that has gone into it for it to look so beautiful. The bonus for me was the 2 Jersey cows in the field just over the garden fence that would come and say hello coming from a farming background this was a nice treat.

I have nothing bad to say as our stay could not have been better.

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay en route to the Isle of Wight as part of our honeymoon. The hosts Jane and Paul were extremely friendly and really have thought of everything. The large room with lovely garden views is equipped with everything you need and has lovely homely touches. Large very comfortable bed and the homemade biscuits and fresh milk in a little fridge all added to the feeling of a warm welcome. The delicious freshly cooked breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a B and B and included fresh fruit lovely cereals homemade jam and marmalade lovely bread locally sourced meat lovely eggs and even beautifully presented butter all served in a lovely homely dining room. Couldn’t fault anything - highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at Woodlands Farm, and is quickly becoming a yearly tradition because we love it so much. Jane is the perfect host. The setting of the cottage is just beautiful. Very cosy especially this time of year with the log burner and Christmas decorations. Wonderful recommendations on where to go for food. An exceptional breakfast, everything was perfect. We loved everything.

We had a recent 2 night stay at Woodlands Farm and the previous reviews were spot on. It's a lovely place to stay. Jane & Paul were fabulous hosts, friendly and helpful. It's a lovely and quiet room, with it's own entrance and easy parking. Nice size, and everything is super clean and comfortable - we slept really well in the bed. Lovely bathroom and really clean again. Comfy seating, nice and warm and there was even some home made flapjack to have with our tea and coffee. There's a pub with decent food just up the lane from the farm and just a couple of minutes walk. Breakfasts were great, with home made bread and jams as well as the most wonderful scrambled eggs ever! We'll hopefully stay again next year when we're down again.

Nothing - it was all fabulous.

What a wonderful cottage. A great retreat very peaceful with lovely gardens and pond. Very large room and extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were great - on tap if you need them but still total privacy. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order exactly how you like it. The fire was a dream and very cosy. Could not fault anything and definitely will be staying again. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Absolutely nothing

It felt like home straight away. So incredibly relaxing, amazing sofa and wood-burning stove in the room. The breakfast was literally out of this world, with the incredible attention to detail, homemade jams and marmalade, perfectly cooked breakfast, and local berries. Wow, everything was so spot on I haven't stopped thinking about it and telling people about how good it was! Thank you

What host do you know who when you arrive five hours late and can't find the place because it's dark, will go to the end of the lane and walk you in? What bedroom do you know that has a grand piano? A wonderful wrap-round garden with private patio & chairs. Superb breakfast. Excellent pub two minutes walk away (serving proper steak & kidney pie with shortcrust pastry). What more could a couple want.

Sign on the main road could be a bit bigger and (for OAPs like us) the loo a bit taller.

Lovely farmhouse and our own private well stocked garden with seating. Own access doors to the excellent self contained ground floor suite. The owners recommended a few good local pubs for dinner and even gave us a lift home late in the evening. Great breakfast to finish our stay. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Couldn’t open the bathroom window but extractor worked fine.

Immaculate , spacious and comfortable in a pleasant rural location. Charming period property. Huge bedroom with sofa and armchairs in front of a ready laid wood burner. Very swish modern en-suite marble bathroom with walk in shower. Jane provided the best hot drink tray I have ever seen with insulated French coffee press, real ground coffee, assorted high quality teas, fresh milk in the fridge and a couple of chocolate club biscuits. Fabulous cooked breakfast with home produced eggs in a delightful 18c dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

This is one of the very few establishments I would go back to without hesitation. It felt like home from home. Our host Jane was very welcoming and hospitable. Compared to the average B&B the room was huge with all the facilities you could possibly want including a grand piano.
