The location was ideal, close to the train station and to bus stops, the walk to the main Street was a straight line and short. When we checked in we were given useful information about Sandown/the island. Bed was very comfy. Living room was spacious. The kitchen was great had everything we could've needed, with specific dietary requirements it saved us lots of hassle having these facilities

In a great location, 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Sandown, and in a lovely quiet street. Very friendly and welcoming. We had 4 rooms booked and all Rooms were finished to a high standard, were a great sized room and all had en-suite bathroom. The rooms were serviced daily. We will definitely be returning!

The cleanliness was excellent. The lady who let us in was friendly and welcoming. We had use of a fridge which was really helpful as it was a really hot week. We had a stand up fan that was definitely appreciated! I loved the feel of the place,byou can imagine it having been very grand in it's day. The lounge area was beautiful!

The shower was a little tricky to use and I'm not sure the wallpaper needed the stick on diamante strips.

Great apartment. All amenities needed. Very simple check in and assistance offered from the owner. Very quiet area with all shops and restaurants within 15 mins walk to the seafront. I would highly recommend this property.

A true double bed would be nice but is was comfortable enough.

property is wonderfully located. Walking distance to beach / restaurants etc. nice and clean and great facilities (storage , cleaning, cooking , tv etc all great)

We booked the one room bungalow for us (couple) and were going to have our 7 month old baby in our room in her travel cot. I was then told on arrival that it was an adult only bungalow (which isn’t stated on the booking.com website) We got upgraded to another bungalow luckily but if this wasn’t available at the time I’m not sure what we would have done :/ so bare this in mind if you have a baby.

Nicely situated, close to amenities and a few minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Parking facilities a big plus. Very clean. Self-catering room had everything we needed during our stay. Very friendly and accommodating owners.

Every thing about wighthill very welcoming and friendly. Home from home apart from bigger didn't want to leave loved it so friendly and helpful

Would have been lovely to have a super king bed there was more than enough room for it

We had a self contained studio with full kitchen and we could come and go as we pleased.

No restaurant bar. BUT we knew this when we booked so not a criticism, just would make the hotel better.

So so friendly and helpful. Lovely clean space. Great shower and tv facilities. Twin bed might be slightly narrow for some but fine for us. But it was a super place . Reasonable price. 10 min walk to beach and 8 mins to shops.
