Lovely lounge area, really affordable, friendly staff, pet friendly.

Car parking a slight pain, 10 mins walk away, hard to drop off luggage, passengers etc. The £9 parking deal didn't really work as we had to pay £27 for 2 nights and unfortunately Ibis staff couldn't resolve.

The hotel is a great location, just on the edge of the city centre. This means that it's really easy to get anywhere in the centre, while also not being too noisy. The room was really spacious and had air-conditioning (I arrived on a really hot day so that was really appreciated).

While the room was a really good size, it was also a bit bare. There was a bed, a small table with stool, and a rack with a few hangers. A bit more table space and maybe a shelf or drawer for clothes would make a big difference. I didn't eat at the hotel as there are plenty of options nearby. While I can't comment on the quality of the food, it did seem quite pricey compared to local restaurants. Maybe they're pricing for convenience, but with so many other places to eat within 10 mins walk that doesn't really work as well.

Breakfast is very basic. If you're just looking to fill up for the day, it's fine. Beyond that, whilst the Toast was fine, and (after thinking about it for a while) the coffee was OK, the rest was basic/budget, but you get what you pay for. This hotel was close enough to where we wanted to be for a ten minute walk. There was a ten minute walk to the Parking, and there were a number of interesting restaurants withing a few mins walk, so we were basically quite happy.

Room-wise, there was a single stool to sit on, and the double bed was against the wall, so someone has to "scoot" down the bed to get out. Not a huge problem, I guess. We were in a lift with a guy who said that he'd got two nights for half what we paid for one night, because he "knew someone"... might be BS, but I think he got a good deal, all things considered. That said, take a look at my "What did you like" comments...

Room was a great size for what we needed it for. Kettle was also a great addition. Every english man or women needs his/hers tea! Shower was a great size. Plenty of staff about for anything like bog roll and more tea bags. There was a bar and food available down stairs which is very handy if you can't be bothered to go anywhere and it seemed reasonably priced. Sircoj in the room which is what anyone need when the weather is hot like it was. There are stairs and lifts inches hotel. And check in was easy peasey.

The fact the window didn't open. Makes me feel abit uncomfortable.

Came to see my partners Family in Sheffield. We had travelled nearly 5 hours on horrible heat. As soon as we walked in the air con was amazing. We ordered cold drinks - I recommend the smoothies they were so thick and ice cold. Good value for money too. Entered the room, and even though small it was perfect. It was a sudden cold air hitting your face. There was a panel to change tempters etc. The shower was exceptional and so clean.

Only downside was pillows. You only get one but it is really flat. We could have asked downstairs I’m sure for another but we were so tired and just wanted some sleep.

Cheap digs within walking distance of Sheffield city centre during the World Snooker Championships. Just across the road from a supermarket which was handy (via the underpass). Nice foyer and reception area with a little cafe. Small but clean rooms, hot shower, with tea/coffee and a TV.

The entrance was a bit hard to find as a pedestrian walking from the rail station - it's on the south-facing roundabout-side of the building. The mattress in my room could do with replacing, definitely sunken in the middle. And no free biscuits with the teas/coffees, always a mark down from me!

Although a short walk from the train station, the location was great. There is a supermarket across the road and shops nearby. It was hot on the day we arrived but the bedroom was air conditioned, so I had a great night’s sleep. The hotel also did cooked breakfasts and meals, which is great if you have a busy schedule on a business trip. The area at reception and varied seating is brilliant if you want to relax or work from a laptop. However, the best part about this hotel is the staff, who were all fantastic!

There really isn’t anything bad to say about this hotel. My friends and I all agree on this.

It was definitely value for money. The room. was basic and very clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom exceded my expectations and were better than most Premier or Holiday Inns Ive used. The shower floor was sunken and the glass panels well sealed so the water remained in the shower. The restaraunt/ lounge was a bonus and made up for the basic room facilities. Breakfast was very good but rather limited and only pork sausages. Infact that was my only complaint about the hotel.

It's unclear how the car parking discount works. The hotel staff weren't able to verify the process. The ACPOA car park has no personnel. I contacted them via the online number on my email receipt but was advised they could only help with airport enquiries?. I paid for 2 days online but still had to pay to the full amount to exit the car park.

It was much better than I expected for the price we paid. I assumed with it being so cheap it wouldn't be great. It was nice to be proven wrong Everything was great value, bar was open late but no noise issues. Room was spotless, basic but everything you need for a cheap stay over. Ideal location for a concert at Bramhall Lane and to cheap parking for £8 for 24 hours only 6 minutes away. Down stairs bar area was lovely. Nice decor, comfortable and a good variety of drinks and snacks to buy.

Sign that said buy 2 beers get a free game of pool. We bought 2 ( well actually 6 in total) and was told we had to pay £5 for 30 minutes !!

Lovely comfortable stay. The room that I booked is small but just for one person, it was perfect. For some reason, even though I have paid via booking.com, the staff insisted that i haven't. And stupidly I paid again before double checking my bank statement and booking.com. I realised I wasn't the only one as staff were asking some people a few hours later the same thing when they had also already paid. This definitely needs looking into. Breakfast was decent with pastries, toast, cereal and 3 hot breakfast items. Not a massive range like some other buffet but will definitely keep you going!
