Rooms at babbacombe was easy to find , we felt very welcome from opening the front door , spotlessly clean and smelling fresh , the easy follow videos helped us access the property super easily , it really was such a lovely place to stay , we also had breakfast which was amazing , so tasty freshly cooked and so much of it , the owners were really helpful on local knowledge we asked several things which they helped us with , and gave some great local recommendation’s , we will definitely stay here again and really look forward to our return thankyou

Nothing not to like it was perfect

We loved absolutely everything from the moment we opened the front door, back music playing, fabulous decor, comfy seats to relax on in the open plan lounge, tea, coffee biscuits etc to help yourself, modern dining tables and comfy chairs which you can use for takeaways, they even provide plates and cutlery what a bonus. Our bedroom was modern, clean, lovely accessory’s with en-suite which have big bath sheets yeah. Again coffee tea etc provided with a small fridge containing proper milk in small glass bottle 👍. Extra milk, toilet rolls, forgotten toiletries ( which you can purchase) can be found on the upstairs landing. So much thought has gone into making sure all your needs are met. You can also order breakfast if you choose to.

Absolutely nothing

Fab hotel, and the owners were lovely. Little things that make a big difference, like Bec had baked a delicious cake which was on the side to tuck into, which was very welcome after a day of walking! There's also a nice space downstairs for spending time, and a place for having food. We also didn't need it but there is a dry room you can use if you're walking and it's wet. The rooms we went for were quite small, so might be a bit tight if you have a lot of stuff, worth going for a bigger room - but they were great for what we needed.

We're quickly becoming regulars to this charming little hotel, always clean and welcoming with amazing communication from the owners. It's a lovely central location, nice and close to the beach, with lots of shops and takeaways nearby, and great dog walking parks as well. I'm sure we'll continue to use the hotel as one of the best dog friendly stays in Torquay.

It's a little tricky to stay at a dog friendly hotel that has so many thoughtful things for the dogs stay but when they need to go to the toilet before bed you have to take them all the way down the road to a patch of grass. In the summer it's not so much of a problem but in the dark of winter it's not very fun. Depends on the dog though I'm sure, but an on site dog toilet area would be very useful.

Room was small eg…quart squeezed into a pint pot Didn’t realise that the accommodation was run by internet and ‘Whats App’. If you are internet savvy ok, however for ageing couples it can be a little difficult to cope. No evening meals provided or available. Breakfasts available only by preorder the night before.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet double room with en-suite. The mini fridge and kettle and mugs were perfect for making my own drinks and snacks. Lovely cotton bedding and modern new decor. Marychurch is very pretty and has plenty of shops, places to eat and bus stops within a few minutes walk. The rooms offer free parking when available. The relaxing soft music and decor of the large reception lounge on the ground floor was a welcome addition. I had everything I could have needed for my one night stay whilst walking two sections of the coast path, and at a budget cost too! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

Great location & facilities were excellent for price point. Great touches all around such as spare toiletries, dog supplies and chilled water & fresh milk. Area was great, less than 5mins from the seafront and cliff railway and a nice selection of bars/cafes/restaurants. Convenience of a reserved parking space was also fantastic. Communication both pre & during visit with the lovely owners was also fabulous providing great insight on places to visit / see.

Only one night stay but definitely one to remember. Room was spotless clean and ready on time, very comfy bed and bedding. Nice décor in the rooms but also in the lounge area. Checking in was stress free and I loved the fact it was self check in, no human interaction what is exactly what I like :) Explanation and very detailed video was send on the day of the arrival so there was no problem to get in. Loved the fact there was so many little touches to make our stay more comfortable. Little fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool, complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. If you've run out, you could top it up in the lounge area, plenty of everything. Fans very available to collect to cool the room, extra towels and toilet paper and even cute hamper in the corridor full of shower gels, toothpaste, toothbrush, tampons, you could have help yourself in case if you have come unprepared. Very thoughtful!! There was cutlery, wine glasses, vine openers etc available in lounge area you could take it to your room if you needed. Unbelievably helpful, every detail thought of. Also car park available just in front of the hotel . Great location, with walking distance to the pubs and restaurants, beach and all the shops. Also bus stop just few steps away. Free wi-fi as well, Absolutely amazing owners. would definitely come back if in the area. Thank you

Everything was spot on !!!!!

We only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed longer. The room was not large, but it was very clean and well presented, and had everything that we needed. There was a communal room that could be used to relax or eat a takeaway, and there was complimentary tea and cake available. The breakfast was lovely, we had a full English that was huge and really nice. The location was also perfect for us.

The property is very well designed, open and light. Luke and Bec really have thought of everything to make a stay with them seamless, welcoming and comfortable, from the welcome videos for checking in, to homemade cake, soothing music in the lobby and hampers dotted around the premises, containing forgotten things and dog blankets and bowls etc. Bec and Luke are very friendly and approachable, making the time to speak to guests.
