Graham and Nicola were perfect hosts. Their fantastic knowledge of the local area helped us to choose great restaurants and days out during our stay. Highlights of our trip included a day in Dartmouth and National Trust visits to Coleton Fishacre and Overbecks garden. Their house and grounds are delightful with fabulous views over the South Hams in Devon. Dartmoor National Park is also close by. Graham has maps and booklets and great advice on any area that you choose to visit. Home produced bacon, eggs, sausages , jams and marmalades and homegrown cut flowers in the room. Beyond exceptional!

Kerswell Farmhouse was such a gem to find.. we were expecting to stay at a lovely location but it exceeded all of our expectations. Such a beautiful location with far reaching views , peaceful and very comfy accommodation. Wonderful helpful hosts who were happy to offer suggestions for interesting places to visit, best routes to reach them and who have lots of knowledge of the area and its history. Nichola's breakfasts were fantastic! All options covered but the cooked breakfast should not be missed! Will return!

Although at least a walk to facilities offering evening meals, this property was delightful. It is in the most glorious setting despite us mostly experiencing torrential weather. The hosts Nicola and Graham, were interesting and interested in us as guests. Our sitting room attached to our room was an added bonus to make our stay extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfast was a great start to the day, with wide choice on a menu that made us laugh. We would certainly return to the idyllic setting.

The location is superb, quiet and in the heart of Devon countryside. Quality accommodation, luxury bed, very generous size room and access to lounge area. Breakfast offers a number of choices and is tasty, filling and sets you up for the day. Hosts are welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful and knowledgeable about local area, history of the area if you want to explore.

Fantastic hosts! We loved our stay at the farmhouse to celebrate a birthday. Great location to explore the local area. Graham gave us some great recommendations and gave us a map to borrow for our trip. Nicola’s breakfast was fantastic using the pork and eggs from the farm. Bear, the dog, gave us a great guided tour of the farm too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kerswell farmhouse.

The location, room, and hosts were amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better trip away. Nichola and Graham were fantastic hosts, I felt immediately at home and relaxed, and the grounds were so beautiful to wander around in. The room and dining area were decorated with lovely pieces of art and artefacts collected by Graham, and he kindly gave me a tour of his studio ceramics collection.

Everything was A1, peaceful location, excellent decor and modern facilities. Tea/coffee making, two fridges, bar selection, microwave, just in case, very sophisticated shower and bathroom. Wonderful! The sitting room was very comfortable, immediately outside the French window was our own sunny garden and patio. The view was to the north and west to Dartmoor. Walking/cycling distance of numerous pubs and not far from Totnes/Dartmouth etc. Indeed all of villages, coast and countryside of the South Hams.

Maybe more opening windows for hot nights!

We had a wonderful long weekend on Kerswell Farm in mid March. We had booked the Bonberry Suite which is beautifully decorated and well equipped, including a microwave which did come in useful one evening. As the weather was nice, we took the opportunity to sit in the garden, taking in the splendid views over the rolling countryside towards Dartmoor. Graham and Nichola are fantastic hosts. We greatly enjoyed our post-breakfast conversations (the breakfast was very tasty!). We also got much appreciated advice on exploring the area (we visited Greenway, Agatha Christie's holiday home, using the ferry from Dittisham and did a steep, but lovely 6k circular walk from the farm suggested by Graham which took us through Cornworthy and Tuckenhay and along the Bow Creek). Bear, the dog, made our stay even more special. Not only is he a very friendly dog, he was also our guide on a tour around the farm taking us to the pigs that had just arrived and the pond he likes to drop his ball into. Graham, Nichola and Bear, thanks for a wonderful weekend!

A stunning setting with expansive views in the peaceful Devonshire countryside. A spacious suite of rooms with a private garden- beautifully decorated and supremely comfortable. Varied and delicious home -cooked/ home-grown breakfasts. Charming, knowledgeable, experienced and generous hosts who accommodated our party’s special requirements effortlessly.

Graham and Nichola were excellent hosts. We loved everything about our stay with them. The accommodation was spacious and very clean, with excellent tea and coffee making facilities. Conversations with them were delightful and the views from the property were outstanding. Breakfasts were delicious too. To top it all off they have a wonderful collection of ceramics and artworks.
