Front desk Khalid was very welcoming friendly and got us checked in promptly, effectively and with a smile. He added the Marriott points to our account. Also gave us a welcoming gift for being Marriott members and treat for our Dog. He is a keeper since I saw many guest being helped by him. Also like the fact that has Air conditioning that works perfect, great bathroom with a comfortable shower and distribution on the bathroom with doors to separate toilet. ON the room the fact that has wood floors makes it look clean; has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The size of the TV is perfect ( about 65 ") and has all the services you expect. Feels very safe, has easy parking at the hotel and the area outside has great park close by to walk the dog with poop bags /trash can. Has also restaurant with great service. In summary great place to stay.

I think everything was ok and don't have any complaints or suggestions.

We stayed here for one night before our train ride to Seward at the start of our Alaskan cruise. Anna checked us in and she was so friendly and accommodating. She gave us both a welcome bag of chocolate, chips and a water bottle. That was not expected but appreciated. We got a King room. The Aloft is trendy and modern which was cool but the "loft" concept of the room layout may not be for everyone.

There is no shuttle from the airport although I did hear that they offer pickup services via Lyft rideshare. The location is not in downtown, it's in Midtown which is about 10 minutes out. I would not recommend walking to downtown from here. The bed was lumpy and stiff in some places. Sound carries throughout the room from the outside. We were provided a noise machine in the room.

It was good to have access to the bench-table area and beds were really good. Toilet flush is loud but at least it works properly. Lounge area has games and books for chatting/ working which is great. We didn’t have a chance to try the small pool and it was too cold/ snowy for the outdoor chilling area but it looked great! The vibe is great inside. Parking is fine. Location is fine too. Interesting decoration (spot the alien, ufo, giraffe in the wallpaper). Loved that it had original artwork throughout the place!

The doors are heavy therefore super loud. Not the hotel’s fault but intoxicated guests shouting into the hallway at 3:30am for over 10 minutes and slamming doors which was unfortunate and took some time before staff came in and try to settle them. Also internet signal in the loft is quite spotty (1-2 Barres) so if you need it for your stay… we had to get up at 6am in the morning and moved to the lounge area in order to catch up on work while away. Not convenient for everyone.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The coffee was good. But room not great small toddlers.

Using Booking.com to book "including breakfast" does not work well with this hotel. The booking including breakfast did not show up in their system, which was very frustrating as I paid $40 extra for breakfast to be included. The front desk staff eventually gave me breakfast coupons because I kept insisting and showing my Booking.com res

Great hotel. Felt like it was brand new. Check in was super easy and helpful. They also helped us with the information that they provided a Lyft to the airport, which was a great surprise

Haha. Odd thing but I don’t understand the abandoned gas station wallpaper in the elevator and around the toilet enclosures. Discussed numerous times with friends and none of us understood it

The pool area was exceptional. We had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful.

I can see why the facility is on lock down because every time I was outside I was approached by someone trying to get me to let them in. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it was sad to see people freezing in the streets.

There’s a circle K across the street for late night snacks. Buffalo Wild Wings stays open late and is right next door. The pool was great for the kids and the staff was very helpful.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and took another hour to be ready due to wet carpet.

The desk staff are quick, courteous and helpful. The food and beverage staff are top notch and the food good. I found the rooms comfy and well appointed.

The hot tub was out of commission. There was also two different occasions of police being called in the middle of the night.

it was very modern and eye catching when you first walk in the door you feel like you entered a different city almost when your stepping in off the snowy Anchorage weather. I absolutely love that there is a bar inside the hotel I mean how smart is that? safe even because you don’t have to drive home after drinking! lol I just wish it stayed open until normal bar close time and that the pool also would be open like 24 hours so there would be more of a chance guests might be able to sneak a little private jacuzzi soak in while people are asleep if they weren’t able to during the day. other then that and the lack of a microwave and one time we didn’t even have a fridge in our room either but everything else about the place is awesome! it’s super cool

like I said (not that I didn’t like these things) but if I could change anything it would be that the pool and hot tub were open all night and day for reasons I mentioned in my prior comments and also maybe the bar not close at midnight but 2:00-2:30 like other bars in town. Not a big deal just my own thoughts and opinions, they didn’t change how much I liked the place at all. The location omg I totally forgot, the location is not the best in town either, if you know anchorage, that part is kind of known for a lot of unwanted people wondering around doing who knows what all night and a lot of homeless during the day as well

When I showed up I was pleasantly surprised, and then super surprised when I was the guest of honor randomly picked. My grandson was ecstatic. They upgraded our room, and the pool was an absolute blast cleanest place I’ve ever been as far as hotel, and the people were very very kind.

The only thing I did not like is because I found them randomly on the Internet because I booked through a third-party. I did not get credit when I opened my app but I would absolutely stay there again.
