The room was very good, particularly the extra space for the work desk/sofa, and that in itself was worth it all, as I wake up early to work and my wife could sleep in without disturbance

The hotel lobby was not very appealing, the gym was tiny and cramped, and the breakfast was sub-par

I've read other reviews... not sure what other people expected, but I'm not sure what other people were complaining about. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was accommodating. The breakfast was good. The train was only as loud as almost anywhere else in anchorage, and certainly not loud enough to wake a sleeping person. The location isn't ideal, but the bus lines are just outside and the nearest grocery is a brisk walk. It was mostly quiet. It was also the best value for the amenities in the room that I found in my modest price range. I appreciated an in room fridge, sitting area, work space, microwave, blow dryer, coffee maker and full size shampoo conditioner and lotion. I will probably stay there again in the future.

Honestly? Were I to be a choosing beggar? Very minor issue... the carpet is kinda ugly lol, but it's not a deal breaker. The texture on the wall is odd in the bathroom, but its very clean and the paint is not peeling, it looks pretty new. I did wish they had bananas in their breakfast, but they had oranges and apples, so I liked the fresh fruit! I kinda wished they had a second waffle maker, one wasn't really enough. The toilet paper was a little scratchy, but I walk around with am extra roll of the good stuff in my bag anyway so it wasn't a big deal. If I were to pick one thing as the most important, I'd ask them to upgrade their toilet paper... a tiny creature comfort, but it adds a lot!

I loved that everything was perfect and great it was perfect and so was benihannas right next door. Great place for the whole family definitely recommend it's well worth the price and no homeless people bother you all night Iike other hotels in the area.

the elevator could use a remodel, and the washer and dryer should have a tap to pay or pay with a card option or at least a coin dispenser for cash it being an up scale hotel should have that. If not thats fine to but it is way more convenient.

I like the location and the provided breakfast with room. It is convienent and even though is relatively small hotel, I like the services. The room is cleaner than some other places I stayed at before. The staff was friendly and I appreciated the feeling of being safe there when the doors were locked after 9pm.

The room was clean but I noticed some crumbs below on the floor near the bed, so I wondered if it was vacuumed. Otherwise, the bathroom sink area and bathroom toilet/tub area was very clean.

The staff was outstanding. We arrived early in the day of our booking and staff stored our luggage so we could go sightseeing in Anchorage until our room was ready. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of breakfast items. And to top it off, they stored our luggage after checkout so we could again go sightseeing as our flight didn’t leave until 8 PM. Very happy!

The room could use a little sprucing up but everything worked perfectly.

Room was very spacious with a small sitting/work area, kitchnette, refidgerator. Very comfortable bed/mattress and pillows. Nice view of the park behind the hotel. Good TV and wifi service. Fairly conveniently located to downtown (walking distance). Good breakfast (hot and continental) with friendly service.

Hotel is under renovation but ok. Faint paint smell in room (3rd floor). No trash receptacle in room (brought from reception after call). Had to run shower/lavatory/kitchenette hot water for 15+ minutes to get hot water.

All staff was very friendly and helpful during all our 5 days stay . We can't remember all the names of everybody of the he staff but all were great. The morning before we come back , Karol and Aidan were very accommodating and very friendly too. The Hotel and the room too was very clean , very comfortable with a fridge and coffee maker . Mary the lady who attends the breakfast room is very nice and she makes sure that all clients are satisfied. And there is a multiple choices for the continental breakfast ( eggs, sausage, donuts, bagels, muffins , loaf breads, butter, jam , cream cheese , cereals , milk , tea , coffee , juice fruits....) Honestly, nothing to complain about it , it was perfect and good . It was a very quality stay . It was our first stay in Clarion suites Anchorage , and for sure we'll stay in this hotel everytime we'll need to go to Anchorage . Staff are nice. Complementary breakfast (6a-9a) was flavorful and not greasy. There is a variety to choose from. Complementary WiFi. Heat. I want to emphasize that there is a mini kiosk and not a market as advertised. Location is near restaurants and stores.

Heat can be a bit strong even when turned down to 58 degrees, it can still be a bit hard to breathe in. I had to crack open the windows a bit from time to time. There is a bit of stray hairs in the bathroom. I saw a small bloodstain in the sheets and I was unsure of the black dots I saw in the bedsheets from time to time. Parts near the location for going to the general store could be kind of sketch.

Staff was nice. Our room was large and roomy. Breakfast was good.

Room had a light musty order. If you don't do well with big fluffy pillows, you won't get good sleep. There were large ample pillows to choose from but we both woke up with neck aches and headaches..needed flatter options. Mattress was wearing down. Furniture a little rough, wore, and stained. Definite updating needed down the road

I liked the separation of entry room and bedroom plus the fact we were adjacent to the park strip.

With.NO EMAIL, NO CALL, NO COMMUNICATION- I.SEEMINGLY HAD 100.00 OF MY DEPOSIT KEPT. LIKE NEVER BEFORE HAVE I HAD A ISSUE WITH ANY HOTEL, MOTEL, LODGING. SO I STAY QUITE AND JUST ENGRAVE IN MY MIND THAT THEY BOUGHT MY LIFE TIME ABSENCE FROM THEIR PROPERTIES FOR LIFE.
