We went to Snow City for breakfast, and 49th State for Lunch/Dinner. Picked location for the convenience of walking downtown, which we did a bunch. Also close to the De'nina Center where we picked-up the Park Connection coach to Talkeetna. Staff were the best, Karlo and Affee at the desk represent the property well; so helpful, in accommodating our late arriving party - great staff! Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean.

A quite small hotel (has 3 floors). Nice location quite close to everything downtown. The room was clean and has a comfortable bed. You can request a parking permit at the reception that is valid for your stay. Staffs were very helpful and friendly!

Elevator seems very old and very slow. There are stairs but they are located on the sides (not in the middle where the lobby is located). I think it is a bit on the expensive side. It is close to a bar, so you may hear noises from the bar from your room. You need to request for a cleaning of your room one day in advance, otherwise it will not be cleaned (not sure if this is common in the US).

The room was big, clean, and comfortable. Furniture was dated, but still functional. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The fitness center was excellent! Most of the staff were very nice & friendly, especially David in the restaurant.

Carpet in hallways was old & stained.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton with our 9 month old baby. They provided a good travel crib and the extra little living space was really nice for us to put our baby to sleep in a seperate room

It was a little too hot by default in the room, but I'm sure we could have changed the temperature

It is centrally located to many of the attractions, restaurants and shopping places. The dining room served a good quality breakfast. The Anchorage Museum is about a block or 2 away. Most of the places you can either walk or ride a bike which there is a bike rental place like 3/4 blocks away.

A bus stop is right outside our room. Hence, it can get a little nosy in the morning. You will see some homeless people around the bus stop.

Within walking distance of downtown, nice having multiple rooms in the suite. Comfortable bed, extremely friendly staff. Wifi was decent speed and free parking. Night shade blocked out light excellently.

Room key didn't open side doors. Heater rattled pretty bad the first night (they were very accommodating and switched us to a new room first thing in the morning).

The bed was outstandingly comfortable, and the king suite room was a great size. Very nice. Breakfast was also excellent.

Our check in person wasn't great, didn't instruct us how to get to our room. Very few words and not very welcoming at all.

Excellent location in downtown Anchorage. Bus stop to the airport close by. Large rooms. Hot water. Good bar for dinners with Fox News and BBC.

Room was a nice size, bed and pillows were comfortable. The living room area was a bonus. Having a small refrigerator was nice. There was a breakfast, but I didn't try it. Also coffee available downstairs. It was quiet in the hotel. Good location, and able to walk to downtown area.

If I had to be picky, I'd say although there was a coffee maker and refrigerator, maybe having a microwave would have been nice. That being said, it wasn't an issue for me.
