We are ‘big breakfast eaters’, the coffee and pastries got our day started right because it was easily accessed while we got ready before we went off on our adventures for the day. The room was perfect for our brief stay. It was comfortable, well stocked with towels, suitably maintained and within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants, the waterfront, the stop for the FREE shuttle around town and the Sealife Center. If you arrive in town on the train, without a car, we found Uber ‘non existent’. The FREE shuttle is an excellent way to get all around Seward. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Sea Treasures Inn for your stay in Seward. I really appreciated the option for onsite luggage storage prior to check in (3pm) and after checkout prior our final departure from Seward, this made our sightseeing day so much easier to manage.

The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been the weather, hardly anything we could expect Sea Treasures Inn to have any influence over. It would have been nice to be able to enjoy the attached outdoor deck with a view of Resurrection Bay but it was not to be. Guess I’ll have to come back.

Communication before we got there was excellent. They even sent recommendations on what to do in Seward, how to get around, and offered to coordinate reservations for activities. The check-in process was thoroughly explained and was seamless when we got there. We got to Seward early and they had a locked room to keep our luggage. The rooms were extremely clean! The 5 rooms shared a completely stocked breakfast area with table, refrigerator and stove, fully stocked coffee, tea, breakfast items, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, OJ, milk, etc. Bathrooms were fully stocked with soaps, shampoo, conditioner. Excellent location, a few blocks from all the shops and restaurants. We walked to our whale watching excursion along the peaceful bay and caught the free town shuttle to get to our cruise ship. Could not have been a better experience staying here! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy and comfortable room with all of the facilities and amenities one could hope for. Although I never met any of the staff, all the information needed was sent to me through messages and in-room information. To open the room, a personalised PIN-code was prepared made up of the last four digits of my cell phone number: very convenient and easy to remember.

Although several notices were posted about keeping any volume of activity down, the room (I was on the upper level) was extremely noisy (as in sensitive to any sound in the building); voices, television, scraping of furniture and even the sound of the cutlery on dishes and bowls from the downstairs public kitchen.

We appreciated having baggage storage prior to check in, laundry facility, a cozy kitchen area, where we could make our own breakfast with the yummy food supplied by the host. Communication with the host was exceptional. Conveniently located near the waterfront and free shuttle pick up.

Thin walls between the units. Not a problem, unless there is a persistent snorer in the adjacent room…

The host is responsive. Action taken immediately when we complained that there's no coffee, salt and pepper which are basic items that should be provided, and the pots and pans which are not complete. She got them in for us within 1 hour time or may be less :)

The wall is a bit thin, we can even hear the lower floor guest snoring....

Clean, well maintained, bright lovely decor, nice to have breakfast things ready and waiting for us to help ourselves. Great location to walk to town or along the coast.

Pricing is a bit high but given it is Alaska and just into the very short high season it's not much above what I would expect.

Location was excellent! Loved the community kitchen and the grill outside. Dinners out on the deck. Short walk to the boardwalk.

Downstairs bedroom could use a larger entry way rug and rug in the bathroom. Just a suggestion!

Facilities all arround! Kitchen for cooking, amenities in bathroom, hairdryier...super nice & ready!

Too warm in the room for the heater. By the 2nd day we learned how to cool it down and was more comfy. The kitchen area though had no heater (or we did not find how to use it) so it was soo cold in there

My room was very clean. The motel is in a great location for walking to restaurants and shops in downtown Seward.

Some noise carried between rooms, but I appreciated the white noise machine provided and that other guests seemed to go to bed early. I had no problem sleeping.

Comfortable room with personal touches. Easy to access - communication/instructions were very good. Breakfast facilities were good. Parking available. Quiet end of town.

Walls were on the thin side - could hear neighbours conversations.
