I really liked how walkable it was to Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter, that's actually why I booked it. The distance to restaurants and shopping was perfect! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. I don't care for modern but the bathrooms were very nicely done and modern. I don't think the modern design is meant for people with young children or babies but I still had a comfortable stay with my little ones. Security seems good. A person has to have a room key to get on the floors. No fault of the hotel but there was a guy who forgot his room and got locked out at 230am and was knocking on my door thinking it was his. I called the Front desk and they acted quickly to get him back to his room. Overall, great location, beds were clean and very comfortable, and room had a nice and big shower. I booked a mountain view room and I would stay again if I wanted to stay in the same area.

The hallways are too dark at all hours, would be nice if it was a little more lit up. There was a problem with our toilet hitting the wall when we sat on it and me and my family are not obese. The toilet would still hit the wall when my 40 pound 1st grader sat on it and so that's a problem with how close the toilet was to the wall. I didn't like the sliding glass door to the bathroom, mostly because it could be a problem for children under 4 years old wanting to play with it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The AC Hotel in Scottsdale during my vacation, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the hotel's ambiance and attentive staff made me feel welcome and pampered. The hotel's location is superb, situated in the heart of Kierland with stunning views of the surrounding skyline. The lobby area exudes elegance with its tasteful décor and plush seating. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the friendly and professional staff who made sure all my needs were met.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property! Love the friendly staff and the beautiful smell when you walk into the hotel rooms!

New, clean, modern

When we checked in they asked us if we wanted the room to be cleaned every day or every other day. We requested every day cleaning. It did not happen. Next day we had to ask them to clean the room which happened at 3:30pm when we wanted tp take a nap, so we had to leave the room.

Comfortable beds

Most of the sun beds were in the shade all day. Very poor positioning/ location of swimming pool. Hotel charges 25 dollars a day for parking. Only 2 lifts ( shared with hotel staff) so often had to wait

Absolutely the most amazing location across the street from a major shopping district in Scottsdale. Super convenient as well as super safe, pleasant, and fun.

$25/day parking was a bit of surprise but not a deterrent.

The bed sheets were scratchy and came off the mattress throughout the night. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Towels were paper thin and a few looked very worn (small holes). Not up to par for Marriott.

Great location. Walking distance to nice restaurants. Clean room. Convenient.

**EDIT 6/25/2023: The general manager did reach out, unfortunately, I ended up with laryngitis and was unable to speak. I did see the charge was voided on my account. I will update the review with a higher number. Thank you for taking care of this.

Our second stay at AC. First stay was amazing. This time around the bed was not as comfortable and felt old and worn out. But overall a great stay.

Location was good. Breakfast was very good.

Minimum number of towels provided. Also bath-towels were very old and ruff. Sliding door to enter the bathroom was extremely difficult to open and close and very noisy, especially in the middle of the night. Also had to call down for additional toilet paper. No additional rolls in the room when we checked in.
