The motel is located nearby town center, beside the road, easy to reach. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful receiptionist ( a young Indian lady ). The best receiptionist we met during our 3 weeks holidays in Western US. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice little stone house with free parking direct in front of the house. The room is small but clean and the beds are comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker inside the room. There is a self-service laundry room where we could wash our dirty clothes. Very good price, worth the value.

Our room has a door connected to the next room. There was a young couple check-in quite late but chatted very loud until mid night. I could not sleep until they finally silent.

The motel & RV park are on the outskirts of Williams, AZ, nestled at the edge of a huge pine forest. There is a sense of tranquility and being in nature even though the shops and restaurants of Williams are 5 minutes away. The motel is made up of several train cabooses. Nearby is a long restored train car with a wide wooden balcony with 3 different sized rooms. Behind the motel office are groupings of stone cabins, 3 cabins to each stucture. These hail from the glory days of Route 66, probably built in the 40s. We've stayed in the king-bed cabin twice now and the main room and bathroom are large. It's been updated but still feels quite retro with an ample mini-fridge, microwave, small coffee maker and a solid wood table and high-back chairs. Open the door and around the corner of the cabin is the forest. We stayed in the large room of the train one time. It was fun and spacious. There is an indoor pool across from the motel office and the office has a mountain cabin feel, with a small market. The woman we interacted with, Nikki, has been so friendly, kind and helpful during every one of our three stays that we are fast becoming "regulars."

I don't really have any dislikes but will say that the prices for lodging are so low that you can't expect certain things you find in much more expensive motels & hotels. For instance, there isn't a breakfast service nor things like hair dryers nor iron & ironing board... not things I ever need anyway. Bring shampoo and conditioner if you need more than one small packet of each, but then all you have to do is ask Nikki and I'm sure she will give you more packets or anything I've listed here.

Nice little room, Comfortable for 1-2 persons. Facility just outside the the main road thru town. A very short drive , 1-2 minutes to main street. Quiet at night and has seating outside ea cabin. Close to main street and Bearazona. I believe a convenient 50 mile drive to the main entrance at the Grand Canyon.

I recieved a $ 20.00 surcharge on my invoice, for what I do not know as this did not match what was not spelled out from my original invoice from Booking .com. But I just let it go for such a small fee.

The check in and check out was a breeze. No complications what so ever. The room was completely clean. No cigarette smell was a plus. over all my family enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. *( my oldest said she felt right at home )

Although there was enough parking. I did wish there was parking arrangements. We would have liked to park right in front of our cabin but unfortunately our neighbors took the 3 parking spots that were right in front of our cabin.

We are a huge train family. We surprised our kids with rail at #3 and it was amazing! We had a sink, fridge, microwave, toilet, and shower. We were able to allow our kids to sleep in their own bunk beds so I didn’t have kids rolling over us all night. The woman who runs the gift shop area was super sweet and helpful! It was super convenient to bearizona, as well as rout66! We will definitely be coming back to explore all the other train cars. And it had a patio so we were able to put our kids to bed and sit on the patio and chat.

There truly want anything we didn’t like about the property!

We stayed in the Rail Car. It was super cute with lots of railway specific decor. Close to town and the Grand Canyon which was our reason for the trip. Very friendly staff and made for an experience with the unique items they have. It was quiet. Parking right in front of the rail car. Good value for the cost.

Lighting was limited/dimmer than would have liked. There was a tube of toothpaste left in the bathroom and there were some nerds candy on the floor in one area.

A cute motel / inn in the woodlands but close enough to visit Williams (a cool Route 66 town, worth visiting).

I got the feeling that the current managers are not taking care of the place as well as they could. The pool had a "heating problem "so was cold, there was trash around the grounds and a lot of the outside lighting wasn't working. This place could be a gem if it was taken care of properly,

Cute train theme going around. Cosy and has the essentials, including microwave in the unit itseld. Good value for a 1 night stay before we head for grand canyon.

No hangers, furnitures are a bit old, tiled floor can get quite cold in winter

We had a little hiccup problem and the manager went above and beyond her normal duties. I was so impressed. I love the place where I stayed and it’s so cute. I would recommend it to everyone.

The property had a lot to offer. I stayed in a little train car, which was so cozy and convenient parking was right next to it. I had a pool next-door and it was fabulous.

The bed is amazing. I have stayed in williams several times now, but I would love to stay here again. Woke up early and explored the wilderness trail and grounds. Quaint place.

They do need some minor repairs, but the buildings have been there since 1941, so I understand. The closeness to other guests is very close.
