So we went to a little place in Eureka Springs and they advertised breakfast delivered to your room each morning. I thought well we’ll get a continental breakfast with a hard danish and some orange juice. First morning was toast with avocado spread on the toast 2 eggs on that with baked new potatoes that were sliced into wedges and sauteed in butter and garlic and watermelon for a desert. The next morning it was scrambled eggs, pork steak cantaloupe and a muffins with orange. Every Evening there would be a very nice dessert when got back to the room. The owners were so nice and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The Bed was so comfortable! We will definitely be staying again . ♥️

The owners are so friendly. They were always available and very informative. They are certainly not afraid to engage in a nice long conversation. I honestly was worried because the website pictures looked like everything was so aged but it was immaculate. They put so much work in keeping everything so clean and comfy! Breakfast was delivered to our room and the afternoon dessert was a pleasant surprise. They provided snacks and drinks, robes and big fluffy towels. We canceled our plans one morning just to stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet. Can't wait to go back!

We had to leave too soon!

Upon arrival we got a very warm welcome. Everything was explained, we got a lot of good suggestions for things to explore in the neighborhood and places to eat. The room was like a little cottage and was at a perfect location surrounded by beautiful cliffs. We were surprised with a delicious afternoon treat and drinks waiting for us in the fridge. Several other little treats in the room. We enjoyed the huge bubble bath and had a good night sleep. The next morning a freshly prepared hot breakfast was delivered to the room. We felt absolutely spoiled!

The Evening Shade Inn & Tea is one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The experience was excellent in every way. The owners/staff were friendly, helpful and displayed qualities that exceeded a typical stay, just outstanding. The location was excellent, the breakfast (brought to your door each morning!) along with the afternoon snack was above and beyond. We liked everything about this enchanting and fantastic place.

I suppose if enough thought were put into it, there could be some extremely minor improvement suggested but I can't think of anything that is worth mentioning. Honestly there is nothing we did not like about the Evening Shade Inn at all.

We could not have imagined a better experience than we had at Evening Shade. The breakfast was incredible, and often we didn't need to buy lunch because we were still full. The beds and pillows were soft, large, and comfy. Jacuzzi was awesome. There's a little gazebo in back to enjoy nature alone with your special someone. Location was perfect, quiet and away from the main downtown, but still close. The price was comparable to or better than other properties that offer far less. It is clear the couple who owns the properties care deeply about what they do. When we go back to Eureka Springs there would be no reason for us to book elsewhere.

The location is excellent, very close to everything. The room is so cozy and they have everything you need. The BREAKFAST is Wow! Shira and Shawn bring a breakfast basket to your door each morning at the time you select and it is delicious! Each day is different. There is also an afternoon snack/desert that Shira also prepares. Yum! The king bed is also very comfy, and the spa is a nice treat!

I have nothing negative to say, they are very great hosts!

The breakfast was freshly made and tasted wonderful! There was a good variety (including vegetarian-friendly options), as well as complimentary afternoon desserts. The owners even took note of any dietary restrictions or preferences. They also supplied complimentary soda, water, and light snacks in the room, along with a mini fridge and microwave. They were easily reachable by phone or by coming to the front office. The wife, Shira, is an artist and it was fun seeing some of her work around the front office (see picture for one example). They also gave great tips for the best ways to get around town (trolly, biking, or driving), the best locally-owned places to eat, and a variety of activities and nightlife options. They provided maps, trolley information, and flyers for events around town. They also took opportunities to ask if we needed any refills on snacks or additional help with anything. Perhaps my favorite part was the beautiful grounds. There are a variety of trees, flowers, bushes, vines, etc. that make it look enchanting. We saw a variety of butterflies, heard birds singing in the trees each day, and enjoyed listening to the crickets and frogs in the evening. The inn is right on the edge of town, only a minute or two from restaurants and stores, but the trees make it feel secluded and block out any noise from the city and traffic. It was an amazing stay, and we look forward to returning!

We loved our room. We stay in room 7, the gardenia room, I believe, and my cousin and her husband stay in room 6, the magnolia room. Both had jetted tubs and we loved them. Our host and hostess were superb! We recommend this place to everyone! The pillows were.so comfortable, I went to the office and purchased some to take home. Breakfast was awesome! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

The only thing I didnt like was the soap dispenser in the shower is annoying I hit my arm on it several times while showering.

We had a wonderful stay at the Evening Shade Inn. The host went out of the way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. The hand delivered breakfast was amazing not the normal danishes, we enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast each morning. It is conveniently located in the middle of everything the town has to offer. If you are headed to Eureka Springs I highly recommend staying at the Evening Shade Inn. You will not be disappointed!!

We enjoyed everything about our stay.

I will definitely stay there again when visiting. They deliver breakfast to your room at your requested time and it’s a meal not a continental breakfast. Every afternoon there was a delicious dessert on the table waiting for us when we returned. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are ok and have what you need.
