The cleanliness,service,and location.

I didn't like the fact that for early check in they charged $20 per hour that I was getting checked in which was around 11am so from the room been $98 the total came out to $190 but he told me if I paid him cash he would only charge me $170and agreed, but then when he said there's a $100 deposit I was pretty upset because why not just charge me the. Room for a night plus deposit instead of adding $20per hour just for an early check in after I requested early check in on the reservation on the app..?? So for that price I would of just stays a quality inn or holiday in but it is what it is.. I'm just going to call ahead of time instead of getting charged like crazy after a long drive for hrs and back hurting from sitting .

We liked the friendly staff and the close location to the beach and grocery. The hotel had a cute beachy vibe. The continental breakfast was good: waffles, cereal, toast, prepackaged pastries. Found no bed bugs despite reviews saying there was some.

That we could hear the neighbors and smell Marijuana smoke. The rooms could be cleaner. The hotel is older. Could use some renovations and repairs. Continental breakfast didn't have fruit either. Maybe bananas and oranges could be added?

Easy check in, usual help your self breakfast, and a microwave available outside the breakfast area. It was easy to find, very inexpensive, and had everything I needed for 1 nights stay. It is an older place and some things are quite worn but you absolutely got what you payed for.

I think many of the negative reviews would have been avoided if it was a little more transparent about things like the pool being closed over winter (not normal for many travellers but quite normal in the US). It was sanitary but really could use a deep clean.

The place was exceptional. The person who checked us in was just amazing. Our room was so amazing. Comfy,clean, Just outstanding.

Just 1 small little detail I was highly disliked, the people from housekeeping were just so loud and noisy. To be able to actually listen to their conversation from closed doors was just insane. My husband and I were sleeping early morning but unfortunately woke up to loud voices.

Great value by the beach. Not much to complain about for a budget hotel; basic amenities but that's all I needed. Rooms are large. Nice hot showers. I like the coffee and free breakfast. Free parking too! Staff is nice.

Wifi was spotty my entire week stay. The room close to the main road is loud and the smoking area is right underneath which I can smell all day. They kindly relocated me to the back of the building which was nice (but wifi was still spotty).

When I got there, the clerk give attitude I have a booking for 6 two adults and four children but instantly was like oh, you booked a room with two beds and six adults. We cannot have that allowed, and I proceeded to show when I booked it it clearly states two adults and four children!!!! after that everything was OK except for the room the top lock was broken a little like somebody tried to break in and they just left the screws a little loose never got repaired

Nice place to stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room & laundry appliances could do with an upgrade but were adequate during our stay. Convenient to buses, supermarket, Starbucks, local restaurants & walking distance to Manhattan Beach. If you're happy to have budget accommodation to allow you to have more to spend, then this place is fine. Can get a bit noisy due to traffic, but after a day or so, you don't notice it.

Friendly staff with easy check in and amazing location with underground parking! Rooms are very big and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was remodelled. Great value for money. Solid hotel if you want to stay in the area and don’t need a fancy hotel room, just don’t expect anything special.

Some furniture is outdated. We also had some issues with the Wi-Fi speed and connection.

The location was great for a short break before taking our flight back home. Nearby the ocean side and 20mn from airport by car. Just re painted exteriors were clean. Rooms were quiet big with king size confortable bed.

The hotel access is for me too wide open and did not feel safe to leave my belongings in the room whilst away for visits. I suggest rooms to include a safe. Fortunatly, nothing bad happened and we've been very happy by our stay.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was great. Everything seemed clean. Breakfast was available but we did not try it on this stay. Staff was friendly.

Came back to room one evening to find that housekeeping had left the door to our room propped open and had left for the day hours earlier. Thankfully no one took advantage of that and nothing was stolen.
