Excellent modern remodel of a basic room, perfect bed, amenities, cable TV - Great choices. Fridge, microwave that I used, - awesome ! I took two baths; there was no bath stopper, but the tub was very clean, and I know to travel with my own set of bath stoppers. The air and heat worked perfectly, so I was comfortable. I did not get a ground floor room, but the second floor was doable for me, and I liked the view out the room from up high, - better.

Maybe provide bath stoppers for others who don’t travel with them, and a few coat hangers would have been appreciated, but sometimes I bring those as well, for longer trips. This one (trip) was for 2 days. I have been to this Motel 6 before, and I WILL return, as I come to the East Bay somewhat often, and I really like this particular Motel 6. Also, I might mention that the blind (a pull down shade) the mechanism to raise and lower it was kind of difficult to use, but it was a very pretty design. Very minor imperfections regarding the room; it was mostly perfect. I would like it if the general policy was for a 12 noon check-out. I would like to mention that.

I was greeted by a very nice, professional, and helpful young man. Keep up the good work ethic. The towels and wash cloths could've been a little bit cleaner (probably with extra bleach treatment). There was a pretty seedy group of guests there bar-be-que'ing in front of their room doors while watching their kids in the pool and playing football in the parking lot (sometimes impeding the flow of other guest's cars 🚗 trying to pass through). They seemed to be having a good time. As the evening /night wore on they began to get a little loud with their drinking 🍸 of alcohol, again just enjoying their stay ( it must've been over 20-30 people/folks in their group- they had really BIG trucks that they parked right up against the room entrances- which blocked almost everyone else's view to our cars.

The staff here a very pleasant and understanding of my families living situation. The maids are great as well. I like the location and the breakfast is an added bonus. The breakfast area and lobby are always kept very neat and clean. Definitely a great value as far as the cost per night. Also one thing I do really appreciate is the fact that it is quiet. By that I mean the people they provide rooms for don't cause problems or seems to be on any type of illegal stuff. Most places like motel 6 and cheaper hotels that my babies, husband and I have stayed at thru out our current situation seemed to have had a lot of that in this area. I haven't seen that here.

Yoshi was really great, patient, and kind. He got my key card to work ! He also honored my request for a slightly later checkout, as I have sleeping issues, and I have a hard time getting it together in the morning. I managed to get out of the room by 11:15 am. The housekeeper only knocked once, right at 11 ! Everything was great, and the remodel is going well. I loved the separate sink area, the coffee station, the microwave, the best hotel refrigerator that I have ever encountered, a very nice heater, good block out drapes, clean bathroom, sheets, and of course an enjoyable television. I really like being on the first floor. (There was) plenty of parking, and I could park right outside my room. I will return !

If possible, just change the checkout time to noon ! Some hotels already do this. I utilize hotels about 8-12 times a year, and about half of the ones I stay in have a noon checkout. But, all of the hotels that I have stayed at in the last five years except for one in Ukiah have granted me this favor. I won’t be staying at that hotel. (The one in Ukiah) - I think it was the Windham brand, and I do avoid those now, because of this issue. I will go back to all of my reviews and look, and change this for accuracy, if the website allows me to do so. Other than that, Nothing was wrong with my stay at Motel 6, and I liked everything ! Martinez is such a wonderful town.

One of the most beautiful Motel 6’s I have stayed at my entire 28 years of living! Location was amazing. So close to eateries and shopping. The room was so clean like extremely clean! I did not want to leave.

The blankets were a bit thick..I got hot at night..but is that really a complaint?? Everything else here exceeded my expectations!!!!

My stay was real nice. Room was great with plenty of parking. Bed was super comfortable . I'm slightly disabled and the bathroom was very accommodating to my needs. Recommended highly. Thanks

I loved everything about our experience at the motel especially about the hospitality of the staff and the room cleaning staff, I just wish the weather was hot enough for us to use the swimming pool, lol
