I spent three very comfortable days and nights staying at this Super 8 motel in Martinez, CA. Everything was excellent; I was very pleased with my accommodations. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the ADA-compliant safety bars were perfect, both by the commode and inside the shower. The housekeeper and manager were very courteous and polite and very responsive to my needs for fresh linens, and the manager quickly restored my television channel when the cable went out. I will definitely plan on staying at this lovely gem of a motel on my next visit to Martinez. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location for my high school reunion. Clean and quiet..no frills but well worth the price compared to other similar motels. Great Vietnamese restaurant next door!

towel rack was just at my forehead heihlght and I bonked my head a few times. View fro. the window was a wall with a vine..so mot igly but if you want a vista this is not the place for that.

Staff was AMAZING! Clean room! Comfy bed! Satisfied with the coffee and pastry we received for breakfast! Perfect send off to travel back home. The fact that they cared about our safety meant a lot! I was on a special trip with my grandchild and feeling safe is a priority. We didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who checked us in, we checked out with Ricky and both were kind and respectful!!

The manager, Rocky was very helpful and available. The room was very nice and clean. The cleaning personnel were very helpful and courteous. The coffee in the morning was good. I liked the centrality of the motel, easy access to the train station, stores, the Muir House, and the pier and wetlands walk.

Maybe granola bars and bananas would be nice for breakfast.

The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. There was a plumbing issue when we arrived at 10 pm and it was fixed immediately. The location is close to the freeways and within walking distance to the wonderful main street and marina. The staff was very friendly. We would like to stay there again.

Consider adding some fruit such as apples and bananas to the breakfast.

The motel is older however the rooms we modernized in the past few years. They are nicely appointed plus roomy. For us the location was perfect. 3 or 4 minites to downtown by car.

Two things: 1. Do not stay if you intend ro get on-line. The wifi was non existant. 2. The front desk man did not want to lend assistance because it was 7:29am!! The facukity was nearky emoty due to being occupied by constructtion workers who had vacated an hour before. I felt like i was being talked down to. Beware if you work remotely.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean and nice.

The only complaint I have was that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the shower and couldn’t reach the front desk for help. When it was time for us to leave we tried to checkout there was no one at the front desk so we had to leave the key in the room and continue to call the hotel to let them know.

I read the reviews that its been remodeled recently and it was clean! I liked it that the floor was not carpeted. Clean showers and bed. Even the walls were freshly painted. Breakfast was individually wrapped /packaged Danish and protein bars so that we can grab one on the way go.

The building was old and the heater unit was bit loud.

Most of all, I enjoy the staff. I travel on the train(s) through Martinez on my way to Denver. I always use the Super 8.
