The friendliest and most helpful staff, pristine room and the pool area was also kept very clean and tidy, coffee and snacks available in the morning for free plus access to options for purchase.

We had a room directly across from the pool/hot tub and it could be a little loud if folks were using it at night, the pool is open until midnight, so something to be aware of for rooms in that area.

I thought the breakfast room was exceptional. I only wish it was open earlier, 6 AM would be great. Waiting so long for coffee was difficult. We enjoyed our gorgeous view and comfortable bed, robes towels and linens were clean and almost luxurious. The bathroom lighting and closet were very nice. We very much enjoyed the pool and spa, nonslip stairs and quiet environment. It felt very safe and very elegant. All of the staff was friendly and professional at all times!

I did not love the shower design, as Water went everywhere. The industrial carpet in our room 37 could use an upgrade. We would love the option to have in room coffee, waiting for 730am was hard. It was late in the evening for our swim and the Pepper tree(hotel namesake) shed quite a bit into the spa. It did not deter us at all. I would recommend to the property not to accept pets at all. They really don't belong in a place like this. That said, I am a lifelong pet care professional.

Beautiful, charming, unique, peaceful place with serene atmosphere, specially at night, when they lit the outdoor fireplace and the sitting area next to the pool. The staff were very polite and professional. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the big closet and the unit patio. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, and the air conditioning work quietly. This is a central location close to excellent food places and walking distance to DT centre (both south and north). Very clean, safe and inspiring surroundings to explore. The proximity to breakfast options was a huge plus.

Since the hotel is located in between two main roads, it gets noisy at night. If you are a sensitive sleeper, bring ear plugs as it helps to reduce the noise. This feedback is not about hotel, directly, but the surroundings that might cause certain noise and sleep disturbances.

I like the location and the quiet charm within the property. The is a lovely pool area. The rooms are a nice size and we had a fireplace which came in handy on a couple of cooler nights. Free parking is also available

Our room was very pleasant but literally connected to Cheeky’s restaurant. A great place for breakfast or lunch but we couldn’t sit outside in our garden space because the food smell from the restaurant was too strong. I recommend requesting a room away from Cheeky’s. Also, and to be fair Alcazar does warn that in downstairs rooms you can hear the people above walking around. That is all very true and can be annoying. We did choose to stay downstairs because we didn’t want to carry suitcases up a large flight of stairs.

My room was absolutely beautiful, with exposed beams on the ceiling and a ceiling fan, which is a luxury! The bathroom was very modern and pretty. The bed was super comfortable and there was an absolutely ludicrous quantity of the BEST pillows! Very, very clean, very quiet, lovely pool and patio areas, the flowers and plants were amazing, and being next door to Cheeky's was just icing on the cake.

My AC unit made a funny noise when it came on. I was completely able to ignore it, but someone else might be bothered by it.

Loved the grounds and patio, especially. Room was clean and had a view on two sides. Larger bathroom (some wasted space). Excellent service, Aaron was especially helpful and polite. Convenient parking, good location.

Door locks should be upgraded to something more secure and in better working order. Street noise from Indian Canyon. No in room coffee. I'm awake and ready for coffee two hours before it is available down stairs. It takes a minutes and a lot of wasted water before the shower or sink can be used. No microwave. Spa was too bright at night; I didn't want to sit in a "display case" so never used it. Room did not have a chair or sofa to watch TV from (other than the desk chair); if you go out on the town, this isn't an issue. No elevator for luggage; I will ask for a ground floor room away from busy street next time.

Beautifully curated and well kept property.. Beautiful at night with plenty of places to gather and relax by the pool. Staff exceptionally.helpful. location made it easy to walk to center of town and to the night market on thursday. I would request a room away from busy street or resturant next door if you plan to use your rooms outdoor patio. Even though noisy in day if doors closed rooms are very sound proof and didn't disturb sleep. Would definitely stay again. Added bonus Cheekys and Birba resturants attached to hotel. Both great eating spots.

Nicely set up room, rooms are very clean and the hotel is safe, especially for women traveling on their own. Fantastic front desk team, always so helpful. The Alcazre is my "go to" place every time I go to Palm Springs.

I found out upon check out that the shower nozzle for hot water only works if you go opposite. So, I was thinking after the 1st day, they just ran out of hot water but when it happened again on the 2nd day, I reported it to the front deck. I was informed that for my room only, you have to turn the faucet in the opposite direction for hot water. My only suggestion was to put a notice in the room near the shower so this is obvious.

The location of Alcazar can't be beat. Easy walking distance to the downtown of Palm Springs, and next door to Cheeky's and Birba. The pool area and grounds are well kept and lovely. The room is large and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed our time here. Staff is nice, helpful and friendly.

The room is a bit stark with mostly all white walls and floors, and since the windows are under the overhang, it's a bit dark as well, unless you are able to score one with windows on the back wall.

The bed was so comfortable and the room felt very clean (aside from having carpet, who knows what lives in there and you can see old stains). The grounds were pretty, with a lot of sun coverage and foliage to bring down the temperature. The pool was clean and the music playing in the common area was great.

I would recommend removing all the carpet from the rooms, it feels and looks icky. The staff wasn't rude, but they didn't seem happy to be assisting or answering questions. I went down to the lobby at 7:30, which is when the breakfast should start, and they didn't have any pastries out yet, and there were no milk alternatives. The front desk associate didn't even look up or think to do more than say hi when I walked in. My husband and I decided to walk to coffee instead.
