This hotel was a great place to stay, the kitchens in every room was a bonus. I loved that the pool had no strict hours(as previous places I’ve stayed at the manager would come around every 15 minutes reminding you the pool was closing an hour before) and you could have your own drinks with their provided solo cups. It was so easy to just walk back and forth from the room to refill my drink :). There was a good coffee place a few steps away and just a quick drive to the downtown area.

I think the pool area needed a good cleaning and updates. There were some spider webs on some furniture, no towels, the pool toys were all old and the walls of the pools were kinda dirty.

Mateo and Jamie made me feel very welcome to be staying at The Twist. From check in to check out I was afforded everything that I asked for which ranged from showing me how to use the washing machine to dinner recommendations. The property was exceptionally clean with a large central pool that was always clean and had towels supplied nearby. I regularly saw staff cleaning the open areas so the attention to detail made me realise that I picked the right place to stay. Additionally, the full kitchen was well supplied with everything you’d need for meals including pots, pans, full sized fridge, stove and dishwasher. The property is also off main roads and backs onto the mountains to the west of Palm Springs so it’s perfect for watching the sunset. I plan to return to Palm Springs and will have no doubts that I will be staying at The Twist again. Thank you Mateo and Jamie for making my Palm Springs visit so special!

Initially the bikes had flat tires but as soon as I mentioned this to Mateo and Jamie, they pumped them up. Thank you for the service!

Cute little place done in a cool mid-century style. Great to have a kitchen and a little patio, and the location was wonderful. Staff was friendly and checked in to see if I needed anything.

The heat randomly comes on in the middle of the night and mid-morning and is jacked WAY up! Even when I turned the whole system off, it would still come on and blast to 75F. Too hot for sleep! Also, some of the bowls and glasses that sit out on the open shelves were a little on the dirty side.

Spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet location. Nice pool area. Modern decoration.

No change of towels or emptying of bins etc in the 3 days. Lift out of operation so beware if on 2nd floor. 3 large suitcases to hump up 2 flights of stairs. Not ideal at our age. No one to help on check in which was all done online. 2 young ladies assisted us by chance on leaving hotel. TV sound could not be adjusted and could only be heard if standing next to it. Remote did not work. Guess this was deliberate as there were subtitles on all programmes. Our friends had the same problems in their room too.

I brought my 16 year old daughter for a girls trip. There's SO many places to stay and having never been to Palm Springs, I was looking for days trying to find the right place for the right price and this was it! The rooms are like a one bedroom apartment. The bed was VERY comfortable, soft yet supportive. The pool area is beautiful. Not too many people staying here so it was never crowded. The location is great, out of the way but close enough to walk to downtown. The hotel has a historical vibe but updated and decorated adorably! Elvis's two houses, Frank Sinatra's house and other celebrities houses from the past are within blocks of this place. Very cool and I would definitly stay here again! Plus the staff was always personable and helpful!

Fabulous funky hotel. Beautifully presented and we just loved the styling. We particularly loved the bed, comfy and perfect. Having a full sized kitchen so we could cook was the icing on the cake. The pool area is fabulous, and having the big washing and dryer machines were a bonus. The staff here are fantastic. Jamie and Mateo were so friendly and gave us lots of tips of where to eat, get the best coffee, and entertainment. If ever we return to Palm Springs we will be booking here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Water pressure in the shower is pretty weak.

Oh my gosh! What a cute place! The hotel itself feels quaint, but such a great quaint. It's your getaway when you don't want to be in the middle of town, but still close enough where you could walk if you wanted to. Jamie(?) at check-in was the sweetest and so attentive. The room was amazing: love the size, the kitchen, the up-to-date modern decor - bathroom is a little on the smaller side, but I definitely prefer the bigger entertaining space. Pool is great and intimate. I think for such the property you're joining like-minded individuals. And finding parking was very easy.

It wasn't something *I* did not like, but I know for the location - you're not stepping outside and you're instantly in downtown. I love walking, but it is a little further of a walk to get to where all the happenings are.

I made a last-minute booking for my girlfriend and I, and everything was great from the beginning. Jamie, the gentleman who seems to be running the entire hotel, was quick to have our needs met. I showed up with my girlfriend, and because our original basic room had something wrong in it, Jamie moved us into a much better suite. The room was clean, very spacious, and had a balcony that wrapped around the room. Comfortable clran bed and clean bathroom. The parking was also easily accessible. The pool water and plaster were also well maintained. There's also a nice cat by the name of Mr. Meows that patrols the grounds. I will be booking here the next time I'm in Palm Springs for sure. It was nice to have a little apartment instead of just a room. The location is good, parking abundant and pool was nice.

I booked a room with a balcony and got the only room without one with no other rooms available. I also could not get any hot water in the shower but I had already pestered guest services with several other issues (difficulties with complicated check-in process, clogged A/C filter, TV not staying on wifi, light switches not working, needed laundry card) and I felt like a troublesome guest, so I just took lukewarm showers. Room had some trash under the furniture when I came in that I cleaned up.

Spacious room with cool style, very comfortable bed and furniture, generally well appointed. Staff were helpful and friendly when I had a technical difficulty, and resolved a broken coffee maker quickly. Convenient parking in a great location for exploring the Palm Springs area. I didn't use the pool so cannot speak to that.

The only reasons I did not rate a 9 or 10 are simple. The shower needs shelves or something to store toiletries on, its a strange thing to miss given the rest of the conveniences in the room. They use a web page for checking in and out, which would be fine if it worked reliably. Staff quickly worked with me to remedy the issue. The balcony was less clean and the chairs a bit beat up. Nothing serious and I would definitely stay again.
