Cute little place done in a cool mid-century style. Great to have a kitchen and a little patio, and the location was wonderful. Staff was friendly and checked in to see if I needed anything.

The heat randomly comes on in the middle of the night and mid-morning and is jacked WAY up! Even when I turned the whole system off, it would still come on and blast to 75F. Too hot for sleep! Also, some of the bowls and glasses that sit out on the open shelves were a little on the dirty side.

I brought my 16 year old daughter for a girls trip. There's SO many places to stay and having never been to Palm Springs, I was looking for days trying to find the right place for the right price and this was it! The rooms are like a one bedroom apartment. The bed was VERY comfortable, soft yet supportive. The pool area is beautiful. Not too many people staying here so it was never crowded. The location is great, out of the way but close enough to walk to downtown. The hotel has a historical vibe but updated and decorated adorably! Elvis's two houses, Frank Sinatra's house and other celebrities houses from the past are within blocks of this place. Very cool and I would definitly stay here again! Plus the staff was always personable and helpful!

It was nice to have a little apartment instead of just a room. The location is good, parking abundant and pool was nice.

I booked a room with a balcony and got the only room without one with no other rooms available. I also could not get any hot water in the shower but I had already pestered guest services with several other issues (difficulties with complicated check-in process, clogged A/C filter, TV not staying on wifi, light switches not working, needed laundry card) and I felt like a troublesome guest, so I just took lukewarm showers. Room had some trash under the furniture when I came in that I cleaned up.

Spacious room with cool style, very comfortable bed and furniture, generally well appointed. Staff were helpful and friendly when I had a technical difficulty, and resolved a broken coffee maker quickly. Convenient parking in a great location for exploring the Palm Springs area. I didn't use the pool so cannot speak to that.

The only reasons I did not rate a 9 or 10 are simple. The shower needs shelves or something to store toiletries on, its a strange thing to miss given the rest of the conveniences in the room. They use a web page for checking in and out, which would be fine if it worked reliably. Staff quickly worked with me to remedy the issue. The balcony was less clean and the chairs a bit beat up. Nothing serious and I would definitely stay again.

The character and charm of this place are spot on! The mid century decor is exactly as pictured. I absolutely loved the Mountain View and the floor to ceiling windows. The bed and couch were both very comfortable. It was amazing to have my morning coffee on the sun filled balcony. The coffee from Ernest Coffee downstairs was amazing as well. It was a pleasant easy walk to everything Palm Springs has to offer — great location. I will definitely stay here again. The staff was very responsive to me via text message.

While I absolutely loved my stay here, there are a couple of things that could be improved upon. One, it was just a bit not as clean as it could be. Two, the door doesn’t have a deadbolt lock. That said, I will definitely stay here again.

Hiking at Tahquitz Canyon and Indian Canyon. We had Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant in El Paseo. We had breakfast a at a couple of nice restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed the Tiki Bar on the corner. I would like to know how to select a particular unit for our next stay, like one with a fire pit.

We stayed in room 204. The bathroom floor was not very clean when we arrived. Like someone was walking around with damp dirty shoes leaving footprints. You should put ice trays in your freezers because the ice machine ice is too wet and freezes into a useless solid mass. It would be nice to have a cutting board and at least one large frying pan for French toast / pancakes and a cookie sheet or baking pan to warm things in the oven.

The staff is so knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. The spa and pool are the perfect temperature, and the entire pool area is very clean and very inviting. The room we had was spacious, the bed and bedding was so soft and comfortable. The view out the sliding doors was incredible. We appreciated the mid century design, not fancy but low key cool and quintessential old school Palm Springs. The full kitchen had all the essentials, and was so stylish. The location is so nice for strolling down the main drag. The main area is about a 5 minute walk down, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants a stones throw away. The surrounding neighborhood is full of beautiful homes. They have complimentary bikes, and the area is perfect for a leisurely ride. We found the neighborhood very quiet, and the other guests were friendly and respectful.

The room was soo private with its our balcony area that was super secluded. It had a large bed and such nice and heavy blankets. The air conditioner was a beast - the room was so cold. We loved the fact that there was a kitchen with plates, cups, stuff to cook with, dishwasher, large fridge, etc. Super cute how there were 2 clubs and balls to play mini golf on the property. We even got to have a late checkout which was just us leaving the property. VERY smooth check in and check out.

The only con for us was the bathroom. The drawer and its little dividers were broken so our stuff was flying around in there. And the shower had little pressure/ took a while to heat up. There wasn’t a door to close the shower area so it was cold and the hot water plus low pressure was so so.

Location is very convenient, it's a 5 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs. Parking was very easy. I appreciated the ease of communicating with the management through text. They took care of all requests promptly. The highlight of my stay here was of course the colorful mid-century modern design and styling of the hotel. The weather was great and we were able to enjoy the pool.

Some staff to help with carrying luggage may have been helpful. Perhaps a vending machine on the property would have been quite convenient as well, the closest store was about 10 minutes away.

The Twist is a lovely property that was possibly a Motel in a previous life with some units residential & some are the holiday lettings. Rooms are spacious, clean & comfort table. It was so lovely to have a fully fitted kitchenette with full stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher & Keurig Coffee Maker (& pods) supplied. Dishwasher soap & pods supplied. Lovely toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, soap) available and replenished. Fluffy clean white towels & sheets. Small private balcony off bedroom. Location is great - lovely coffee shop next door & short walk to breakfast places. About a 20/25 min walk into downtown area with lots of lovely shopping & restaurants (might be a challenge in high heat of summer - was about 30C when we were there in May & kids couldn’t do the walk as too hot) Staff are really lovely & helpful. They are very responsive to email & text prior to arrival & during stay. Office closes at around 5pm but room can be accessed easily via keypad code if you arrive after this (we didn’t get in until 10pm as flight from Ireland landed in LAX at 6:30pm) The Twist had a great pool area that the kids really loved and spent a lot of time in. Also has bicycles & helmets that you can use but we didn’t avail - they looked lovely. Very family friendly hotel and would definitely recommend and return to if we can

Nothing really as hotel lovely Tow small issues: 1) room didn’t have a fold out couch as described in advert - however we were fine in the large king sized bed and pump up single bed (2 adults & 2 kids ages 11yrs & 5yrs) - this might be an issue though for others 2) card for machines in laundry room didn’t work even when loaded with money so we couldn’t do laundry.
